Definitions

  • the invention relates to a drive for a roller shutter, a blind or the like.
  • a winding shaft for the roller shutter curtain and with a gear that sets this in rotation which has a front end of the winding shaft and non-rotatably connected with this gearwheel, with which a at least two drive shafts arranged by means of an angular gear or universal joint connected drive shaft arrangement combs, furthermore the winding shaft, the gear wheel and the drive pinion are arranged in a roller shutter box, in particular on the actuation side, placed on the masonry and which project in the transverse plane of the winding shaft oblique drive shaft extends through the wall of the roller shutter box in a wall bearing to the outside.
  • the invention is therefore based on a drive as it is shown and explained, for example, in DE-A-2 359 471.
  • This document describes two embodiments.
  • the roller shutter box is arranged on the outside of the building and the actuating crank for the winding shaft is arranged in the interior of the associated room.
  • the actuating crank for the winding shaft is arranged in the interior of the associated room.
  • there is a three-part drive shaft here (shaft section 16 ', shaft section 54 and connecting piece for the crank handle 18')
  • shaft section 16 'and 54 there is between the two shaft sections 16 'and 54 the known arrangement neither an angular gear nor a universal joint.
  • the invention is based on the fact that the roller shutter box is arranged on the same side of the wall as the actuating crank, that is to say in the interior of the room.
  • the gear arrangement here only comprises two shaft sections, namely section 16 and the connecting piece for the crank rod 18 and a universal joint 17 connecting them to one another that the drive shaft 16 is inclined only in the plane of FIG. 1, as can be seen there.
  • the shaft 16 of the bevel gear transmission occurs in an arrangement inclined to the winding shaft of the roller shutter or a blind, but not tilted out of this plane, through the lower wall of the roller shutter box out.
  • a disadvantage of the prior art is that the drive parts protruding from the roller shutter box remain disruptively visible. Above all, however, the arrangement prevents an opening of the window or door leaf beyond a right angle, which would be possible on site if - as is customary in southern countries - the lintel does not protrude or does not protrude significantly beyond the inner plane of the window frame.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of making available a drive of the type outlined in the preamble of claim 1 which, while maintaining the simplest operability of the drive, permits a wider wing opening, in particular one of approximately 180 °.
  • the means to be used to solve this longstanding problem should be simple and inexpensive in nature.
  • the invention solves this problem in that the wall bearing is arranged on a side end wall of the roller shutter box, in that the drive shaft arrangement is designed as a three-section angular gear, the inner shaft section of which forms the drive shaft carrying the drive pinion, the central shaft section of which is supported in the wall bearing and whose outer shaft section is designed for connecting a rotary handle such as a hand crank or the like. And wherein all shaft sections are connected to one another via an angular gear or universal joint.
  • the subject of the invention differs essentially in that not only between the crank handle 18 and an intermediate shaft not present in the embodiment according to FIG. 1 of DE-A-2 359 471, either a bevel gear angular gear or a universal joint and In addition, a further bevel gear angular gear or universal joint is arranged between this central shaft section and that shaft section which has the bevel gear. Furthermore, the arrangement differs in that that not - as in the prior art - the gear shaft emerging through the roller shutter box emerges on a longitudinal side wall (FIG. 2 of DE-A-2 359 471) or on a lower wall (FIG. 1 of DE-A-2 359 471), but on the front wall.
  • the drive is freely accessible from the side. Drive parts are therefore no longer in the way of further wing opening.
  • the drive shaft can run with a significant advantage in the projection onto the level of the lowered roller shutter curtain, because since the drive shaft is not only shifted to the side, but points there due to its second inclined position towards the front of the roller shutter box, the drive remains free and effortless accessible.
  • a drive designed according to the invention also allows the hand crank to be continuously connected to the drive shaft end, especially since all the parts in their new arrangement can be hidden behind curtains.
  • the drive shaft arrangement can be designed as a double cardan shaft, the central cardan shaft section of which is mounted in the wall bearing.
  • the drive shaft arrangement is designed as a three-part bevel gear angular gear, the drive shaft of which runs essentially perpendicular in the projection onto the level of the lowered roller shutter curtain.
  • the intermediate shaft extends through the end wall of the roller shutter box and is encapsulated outside by means of a scraper.
  • the side wall of the roller shutter box for receiving or forming gearbox bearing parts can be profiled in a chamber-like manner, oblique chambers being formed, some of which run inside, some outside of the main wall plane. Accordingly, the gear parts can be accommodated in the narrow area in front of and behind the main wall level in an axially tight space.
  • Fig. 1 denotes a wing of a window with a pane 11.
  • 12a quantifies the roller shutter curtain of a roller shutter 12 located in front of the wing 10 in a partially lowered state, which is wound onto a winding shaft (not shown) within a roller shutter box 14 attached in the space above the window opening 13.
  • the wing 10 is attached to the frame 16 by means of conventional hinge fittings 15. So that the wing 10 can be opened by more than 90 °, preferably by 180 °, the drive parts 17 emerging from the roller shutter box 14 are located on or in front of the lateral end face 18 of the roller shutter box 14 which faces the wall recess 13 and which is more or less far opposite the wall level 19 protrudes.
  • 1 and 2 schematically show a drive shaft end 20, which is intercepted in a wall bearing 21, and a crank handle 22 to be coupled to the shaft end 20 or fixedly connected to it.
  • the wall bearing 21 is more or less far from the front wall 24 of the roller shutter box 14 arranged in the room.
  • Fig. 2 the part of the drawing with solid lines illustrates an arrangement with a less deep, with dash-dotted lines with a deeper fall of the wall. How the invention takes these different requirements into account will be explained with reference to the other figures, which show corresponding schematic end views.
  • the geometric axis of rotation of the roller shutter winding shaft is designated 25, to which the gear wheel 26, which is designed as a bevel gear with outwardly facing toothing 27, is arranged concentrically.
  • the drive shaft 29 in the embodiment according to FIGS. 3 and 4 is 'double inclined'.
  • the axis of rotation 30 of the drive shaft 29 is crooked in a plane parallel to the lowered roller shutter 12 or to the closed wing 10. This is achieved in addition to the choice of suitable bevel angles of the bevel gears meshing with each other at 31, in particular through unconventionally crooked gear housing parts 32, which are otherwise incorporated into the side wall 18 of the roller shutter box in such a way that they are partly inside, partly outside the wall plane E and thus particularly are nested to save space.
  • the drive shaft arrangement 33 of the exemplary embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 3 and 4 comprises the three shaft sections 29, 34 and 20, which are each pivotally coupled to one another by means of a cardan joint 35 and 36.
  • the intermediate piece 34 of the drive shaft arrangement 33 is mounted by means of a ball 37 in the wall bearing 21, which has an adapted ball socket 38, so as to be movable in a tolerance-compensating manner.
  • the section A-C drawn in FIG. 3 illustrates the greater length of the drive shaft 29 required here compared to A-B. In order to meet the needs universally and in the simplest way, it can be designed as a telescopic shaft.
  • a scoop 44 into which the wall bearing 21 is incorporated or in which it is provided provides a tight and visually appealing closure to the outside.
  • FIGS. 5 and 6 uses a three-part bevel gear angular gear with drive shaft 39, intermediate shaft instead of a three-part universal joint shaft arrangement 40 and end shaft 41, of which the intermediate shaft runs in the wall bearing 21.
  • the "misalignment” affects above all the drive shaft 39, the need for which different inclination (angle W1, W2) is shown schematically in FIG. 6.
  • the shaft end piece 41 is mounted in a small bearing block 42 behind the scoop 44 outside the roller shutter box end wall 18. Compared to the embodiment shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, there is also the advantage that the drive shaft 39 can be kept very short.
  • roller shutter winding shaft is rotatably coupled to the connector numbered 43, which can be driven in rotation by the gear wheel 26.
