Definitions
- the invention relates to a socket for a small incandescent lamp for releasable insertion into a plate opening, two electrically connected contact parts connected to the lamp connecting wires effecting both the mechanical mounting and the electrical contacting with the conductor tracks of the plate.
- the contact parts are basically made of metal, i.e. Not only is it necessary to manufacture metal parts of this type - extremely small in the case of small electric light bulbs - but also very complicated assembly, i.e. the connection of these metal parts with the lamp connection wires on the one hand and the connection of the contact parts with the lamp holder itself.
- the electrically conductive contact parts are made of electrically conductive Plastic, especially a polyester with embedded carbon fibers.
- the electrical contact parts can be manufactured very easily as injection molded parts, which not only considerably simplifies the production of the parts themselves, but also the assembly mentioned above.
- sockets for small incandescent lamps in which axially spaced metal pins or metal tongues are used for clamping mounting and contacting with the plate, sockets with two spaced apart plates, contacting their conductor tracks from above and below, have recently become increasingly popular clamping radial projections become known.
- the electrically conductive contact parts are intended to form at least one of these projections, and in embodiments in which both projections are formed by the electrical contact part, there is the advantage that the electrical contact to the conductor tracks is optionally made on the top and bottom of the plate can.
- the contact parts are U-shaped, regardless of whether they are prefabricated as such U-shaped components and with the actual version by overmolding or by insertion into corresponding diametrically opposite one another Grooves are connected.
- At least one holder described above with at least one ring flange opposite one of the projections at a distance from the plate thickness to provide a bent spring tongue which snaps into the lateral extension of the plate which serves for inserting the projections during rotation into the contact position.
- the small incandescent lamp with a glass bulb 1 and the two lead wires 3 and 4 led out of the melted lower end section 2 is held in a holder 5 which has a cylindrical receiving part for the glass bulb 1 and a ring flange 6 which is separated from it by a ring flange 6 to be described further below
- the conductor connecting wires 3 and 4 are connected to electrically conductive contact parts 10 and 11 which are designed as U-shaped injection molded parts made of conductive plastic, in particular polyester with embedded carbon fibers and which have cross-sectionally T-shaped base legs 12, 13 in correspondingly undercut longitudinal grooves 14, 15 of the cylindrical receiving part 5 of the socket are inserted.
- the connection of the electrical connection wires 3 and 4 with the electrically conductive, injection molded from conductive plastic contact parts 10 and 11 is carried out either by injecting the conductor wires or by inserting these conductor wires into bores 16, 17 and anchoring the wire ends in these bores with the aid of a contact adhesive or the like.
- this connection can be made more easily than the solder connection of such wires to tiny electrically conductive contact parts designed as curved leaf spring parts, as have been used hitherto, with the fact that the injection molding of the contact parts 10 and 11 according to the invention, which are injection-molded from conductive plastic is also much easier than bending the leaf spring contact parts.
- the contact parts 10 and 11 are locked in the grooves 14 and 15, for example with the help of an adhesive.
- 5 schematically shows two conductor tracks 24 and 25 connected with semi-ring-shaped contact strips 22 and 23, which lead to the actual circuits of the board. With 26 and 27 extensions of the recess 8 are designated, which serve to push the legs 18 and 19 of the contact parts 10, 11.
- the socket with the small incandescent lamp held therein is rotated by 90 °, so that the legs 18, 19 rest on the conductor tracks 22, 23 in an electrically contacting manner.
- the invention is not restricted to the exemplary embodiment shown.
- electrically conductive contact parts made of conductive plastic by injection molding also for differently designed small light bulb sockets, in particular ultimately also for sockets in which only contact pins protruding downward are provided
- directly contact the electrically conductive contact parts by means of a two-stage injection molding process in corresponding recesses of the actual version 5, into which the power leads 3, 4 protrude, so that they simultaneously with the injection of the electrically conductive plastic in this embedded and thus the electrical contact is made.

Abstract
Description
