Abstract

1488874 Lampholders LUCAS ELECTRICAL Ltd 31 Jan 1975 [28 Feb 1974] 9077/74 Heading H2E A capless bulb housing 11 comprises conductive rubber contacts 16, 17 which physically and electrically engage the spigot 21 of the capless bulb. The contacts 16, 17 are connected to conductive strips 15, 14 respectively the latter of which 14 is joined to a terminal pin 13. The rubber may be natural or synthetic and is loaded with conductive particles to make the rubber conductive in its relaxed state. The housing shown is part of a switch.
