Definitions

  • the invention relates to a small film packaging for paper or tissue tissues, in which a small number, e.g. ten folded handkerchiefs are stacked one on top of the other and this stack is enveloped on all sides by a film wrapped around the stack, the end sections of the film overlapping one another on one of the long narrow side surfaces of the packaging and the film end section lying outside in this overlap to form or release an in this long narrow side removal opening for the handkerchiefs can be lifted off from the inner film end section underneath and the overlapping end sections of the film are fixed to one another at the short edges of the long narrow side surface of the packaging, and the film end section lying outside in the overlap is located in its central area between these fixings has a convex edge.
  • a small number e.g. ten folded handkerchiefs are stacked one on top of the other and this stack is enveloped on all sides by a film wrapped around the stack
  • Small film packages which are designed as mentioned above and which are described in US-A-4,540,091, have the advantageous property that the removal opening of the package closes automatically after the removal of handkerchiefs, the aforementioned outer film end section of the package overlapping the removal opening and covers it.
  • This automatically entering cover of the removal opening provides good protection for the handkerchiefs still in the packaging against adverse external influences, in particular against dirt and dust.
  • the outer film end section covering the removal opening can be easily lifted from the removal opening in order to expose the removal opening if desired for the removal of handkerchiefs from the packaging.
  • Such a take off of the outer film end section from the removal opening can also occur to a greater or lesser extent if forces act unintentionally on the outer film end section covering the removal opening of the packaging, which seek to lift this film end section away from the removal opening; this can happen, for example, when a small film packaging is pushed into the training in question here in tight pockets.
  • the removal opening then remains more or less open as long as the forces mentioned act, ie for example as long as the small film packaging is in the narrow pocket mentioned.
  • FR-A-2 334 584 Another technique for repeatedly closing a small foil packaging for paper tissues is disclosed in FR-A-2 334 584.
  • This document describes a small film packaging for paper handkerchiefs in which an adhesive connection in the form of an adhesive application or adhesive strip connecting this film end section to an adjacent outer surface of the packaging is provided in the closed position covering the removal opening in order to fix a hinged film end section serving to cover a removal opening.
  • Such an adhesive application which can also be on an adhesive tape, is susceptible to dust and dirt in the open state and dust or dirt on the adhesive surface can reduce or cancel the holding ability.
  • the small-format film packaging of the aforementioned type according to the invention is characterized in that the end of the film end portion lying in the overlap with its convex edge extends over part of the wide side surface of the packaging formed by the inside end portion of the film overlap and that between said end of the outer end section of the film and the repetitive fixable adhesive surface or Velcro connection is provided under closed-end packaging in the zone of the inner film end section located in this end, and that between the fixings located on the short edges of the long narrow side surface and the central region of the film end section lying outside in the overlap, which is to be lifted off to clear the removal opening, notches are provided which are behind the sides of the fix facing the broad side surface mentioned ations are enough.
  • the structural design of the packaging keeps the outer film end section in the position covering the removal opening at least as long as forces that do not disturb this state from the outside act on the packaging; accordingly, as long as no such forces act on the packaging, the handkerchiefs in the packaging remain well protected, even if the adhesive or Velcro connection, for example due to soiling, has only a very low adhesive force or has lost it entirely; on the other hand, the adhesive or Velcro connection need only provide a relatively low holding force due to the presence of a design which tries to hold the outer film end section in the position covering the removal opening, which generally also applies when external forces are applied are present, which are effective in the sense of lifting the outer film end section from the removal opening, but are not too large.
  • the adhesive or Velcro connection can, depending on the fact that it does not only have to ensure the retention of the outer film end section in the position covering the removal opening, with relatively little adhesive force, and on the other hand, the removal opening can be made relatively large, despite this from the constructive design of the packaging reduces the grip of the outer film end section in the position lying on the removal opening; the aforementioned interaction of the measures provided in the packaging designed according to the invention easily compensates for such a reduction, and the advantage of easier operability of the removal opening is thus additionally achieved; by the fact that the end of the overlapping film end section extends over the broad side surface of the packaging and is fixed there with an adhesive surface or Velcro connection, the hold of the film end section over the removal opening is improved and the notches make it possible to remove the handkerchiefs from the removal opening facilitated.
  • a particularly simple embodiment of the packaging according to the invention with regard to the production of the adhesive or adhesive connection is characterized in that, in order to form an adhesive surface located in the overlap area, an adhesive application is carried out on the inside of the film end section lying in the overlap and / or on the outside of the inside of the overlap Foil end section is provided.
  • a sticking of dirt or dust on the adhesive surfaces, which whose adhesive force can be impaired is largely avoided if the adhesive connection is formed with a cohesive adhesive, that is to say an adhesive which essentially only adheres to mating surfaces which also carry an application of such a cohesive adhesive.
  • a related embodiment of the packaging according to the invention is characterized in that an application of a cohesive adhesive is provided both on the inside of the outer film end section and on the outside of the inner film end section.
  • Another inexpensive embodiment of a packaging according to the invention having an adhesive connection is characterized in that a piece of a double-sided adhesive film is inserted between the two film end sections to form an adhesive area lying in the overlap region and carries a pressure-sensitive adhesive which is adhesive several times on one side.
  • FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of a small film packaging for paper or cellulose handkerchiefs designed in accordance with the invention in a view, the outer film end section being raised from the removal opening
  • FIG. 2 the packaging according to FIG. 1 in the closed state
  • FIG. 3 a another embodiment of such a packaging, which is provided with a Velcro connection to hold the outer film end section, in the open state in a view
  • FIG. 4 this packaging in the closed state.
  • the film is circumferentially around two long narrow sides and two broad sides of the Stack around.
  • the end sections 4, 5 overlap one another on the one long narrow side surface of the packaging, in which case the film end section 4 lies on the outside and the film end section 5 below it lies on the inside.
  • a removal opening 7 can be opened through which the handkerchiefs 1 can be removed from the film wrapper.
  • the overlapping film end sections 4, 5 are fixed to one another at the short edges 8, 9 of the long narrow side surface 6 of the packaging. Such a fixation can be formed by a welded connection.
  • the film end section 4 lying in the overlap has a convex edge 12 in its central region 11 located between these fixings.
  • This design of the film packaging has the property that the outer film end section 4 automatically lays over the removal opening 7 and covers it when handkerchiefs 1 are present in the packaging, so that they are protected in the film wrapping.
  • an adhesive surface 24 is provided which holds the end 21 of the film end section 4 on the broad side surface 22.
  • Notches are provided between the fixings located on the edges 8, 9, which connect the film end sections 4, 5 to one another, and the central region 11 of the film end section 4, which notches extend behind the sides of the fixings facing the broad side surface 22. This facilitates access to the removal opening.
  • the adhesive surface 24 can be formed by applying an adhesive which can be provided either on the inside of the film end section 4 or on the outside of the film end section 5 or both on the inside of the film end section 4 and on the outside of the film end section 5. If you only apply an adhesive to one of the two surfaces mentioned, a so-called pressure sensitive adhesive must be used for this, which results in an adhesive closure that can be opened and closed several times.
  • a punctiform application, as shown in the drawing, is favorable both in terms of the production technology and with regard to the possibility of simply grasping the end 21 and thus being able to release the adhesive connection.
  • an adhesive is provided both on the inside of the film end section 4 and on the outside of the film end section 5, a so-called cohesive adhesive can be used for this, which only adheres to surfaces coated with a similar adhesive and hardly absorbs dust or the like.
  • surfaces 24 and 24a coated with such an adhesive are to be provided both on the inside of the film end section 4 and on the outside of the film end section 5.
  • FIGS. 3 and 4 The embodiment of a small film packaging shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 is similar to the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 and, like this, contains a stack of folded paper handkerchiefs 1.
  • the difference from the packaging according to FIGS. 1 and 2 is In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 for holding the film end section 4 lying outside in the region of the removal opening 7 or the end 21 thereof on the outside
  • a Velcro connection 25 is provided in the film end section 5 forming the broad side surface 22 of the packaging, which consists of two parts 25a, 25b, one part being a hook part and the other being a loop part. Both the hook part on the film end section 4 and the loop part on the film end section 5 and the loop part on the film end section 4 and the hook part on the film end section 5 can be provided.
  • the end 21 of the film end section 4 can be attached and detached practically as often as required in the region 23 of the elongated broad side 22 of the packaging.
