- the invention relates to a device for squeezing and metered dispensing of flowable multicomponent masses under the action of a blowing agent on flexible bags for the individual components of the mass, each bag being arranged in a separate container.
- Multi-component compositions are increasingly being used for many industrial and commercial applications for gluing, filling, sealing and the like. To prevent the components from reacting prematurely, the individual components must be stored in separate chambers.
- each component is arranged in a separate, cylindrical cartridge with an ejection piston which can be displaced therein, which is very complex and leads to high production costs.
- sealing problems can occur on the squeezing piston at the sometimes very high squeezing pressures. If the ejection piston is not absolutely leak-proof, the ejection device required for processing the cartridges is contaminated.
- GB-A 1 467 637 discloses a device which is only suitable for pressing out one-component compositions.
- a liquid propellant is conducted by means of a gear pump from a storage tank to the rear end of an ejection piston which is axially displaceable in a cartridge.

- the gear pumps can be driven by hand or by a motor, do not require valves and can be operated equally well in both delivery directions.
- the mixing ratio of the components can be kept constant. This coupling of the pumps can be done by directly connecting the pumps via a common drive shaft. The mixing ratio can also be changed by an intermediate manual or change gearbox. Another option is to electronically control the drive motors for the individual pumps.
- vent valves are operated at the beginning of the squeezing process until the propellant emerges from the vent valves.

- a tank 11 is arranged in the handle 1a and contains a liquid propellant 12, for example a hydraulic oil.
- the propellant 12 passes through an intake port 13 and an intake line 1 e in the housing 1 to two gear pumps 14, 15 arranged next to one another.
- the gear pumps 14, 15 are driven by a common drive shaft 16 and are thus coupled to one another.
- the drive shaft 16 is connected to a ring gear 17.
- the ring gear 17 is in engagement with a bevel pinion 18 which is connected to the shaft of a motor 19.
- the motor 19 is driven by a battery 20 arranged in a receiving opening 1 of the housing 1.
- the battery 20 is secured in the axial direction by a plug 21 and a contact spring 22.
- the electrical connection of the motor 19 to the battery 20 takes place via a switch 23 arranged on the handle 1a.
- the motor 19 and thus the gear pumps 14 and 15 can be switched on and off and thus propellant 12 from the tank 11 via pressure lines 1f, 1g are passed into the containers 1b, 1c.
- the components 8, 9 contained in the bags 6, 7 are pressed out of the latter by the propellant 12 which is passed into the containers 1b, 1c and passed through the channels 2b, 2c into the squeeze nozzle 4.
- the venting valves 10 air present in the containers 1b, 1c can be removed from the latter at the beginning of the pressing-out process. Such air cushions could otherwise hinder the continuous delivery of components 8, 9.
- the direction of rotation of the motor 19 can be reversed by means of the switch 23 and the propellant 12 can be conveyed back into the tank 11.
- the lid part 2 is removed and the empty bags 6, 7 are exchanged for new, filled bags 6, 7.
- FIG. 2 shows the gear pump 14 with the drive shaft 16 and the suction line 1 and pressure line 1f arranged in the housing 1.
