- Multi-component compositions are increasingly being used for many industrial and commercial applications for gluing, filling, sealing and the like. To prevent the components from reacting prematurely, the individual components must be stored in separate chambers.
- each component is arranged in a separate, cylindrical cartridge with an ejection piston which can be displaced therein, which is very complex and leads to high production costs.
- sealing problems can occur on the squeezing piston at the sometimes very high squeezing pressures. If the ejection piston is not absolutely leak-proof, the ejection device required for processing the cartridges is contaminated.
- the components are in flexible bags. These bags are mechanically squeezed, for example by means of rollers or by means of a blowing agent acting on the wall of the bags.
