- the invention relates to a chair with a seat support on which a seat plate is supported by means of a rear handlebar, and also with a backrest support which is pivotably articulated on the seat support.
- Such chairs are known in various designs, including from DE-PS 28 22 574.
- the invention has for its object to provide a chair of the type mentioned in such a way that an adjustment of the adjusting force for the backrest is not necessary and thus the restoring force for the backrest increases with increasing user weight.
- the seat plate is connected to the seat support via a front link and the seat support is connected via a front and a rear parallelogram link to a fixed inclination support which is fixed to the lower part of the chair, the parallelogram link also being articulated by means of a parallel guide link are connected and a first energy store between the seat support and incline support and a second energy store between the backrest support and seat support are effective.
- both energy stores are preloaded to a greater or lesser extent depending on the user weight.
- the result of this is that the movement of the backrest runs more or less smoothly with the synchronized movement of the seat coupled therewith.
