Definitions
- the invention relates to a protective suit made of film or nonwoven material and to a method for producing such a protective suit.
- a known protective suit of this type (DE-GM 70 43 814) is formed by a tube section made of a plastic film, which can be a seamless tubular film.
- the upper opening edge of this tube section is welded closed and provided with three cutouts starting from this welded edge, namely a central cutout for the head and two lateral cutouts for the arms.
- the lower end is designed as an open sack or is provided with two trouser legs which are welded down at the bottom and which are delimited on the sides facing each other by a weld seam, a separating joint being provided between the weld seams.
- the production costs for such a protective suit can be kept relatively low, so that there is the possibility of using it as a disposable protective suit for single use.
- the protective suit is only suitable for a certain body size and the basic shape can only be used as bib shorts or bib skirts that leave the shoulders and arms free.
- the invention has for its object to provide a protective suit suitable as a disposable suit, which can be manufactured in a material-saving and therefore still cheaper manner and which also makes it possible to remedy the other disadvantages.
- the solution consists in a protective suit made of film or non-woven material, in which a flat bag or piece of tubing has at least one open end and two lateral incisions are provided near this open end, whereby a bib part, two armholes and two cut supports are formed.
- the side incisions are made at armpit height. There are two beams without having to cut out material.
- the straps extend the protective suit beyond the size of the hose section. The dimensions of the incisions result in an adaptation to the size of the person.
- the lateral incisions preferably run parallel to the edge forming the open end.
- the lateral incisions therefore extend horizontally.
- the straps have a constant width and therefore a constant tensile strength over their length.
- Such a protective suit can be used as a skirt if the tube piece is open at the bottom.
- a parting line running between two seams extends from the other end to form two pants legs. It is advantageous that the lateral incisions are pre-formed by a perforation. The user can then the desired incisions or the like without using scissors. attach.
- the length of the lateral incisions is dimensioned such that the protective suit is extended by almost 1/4 of the total length of the flat bag or tube piece by forming the carrier. This gives the greatest possible length of the protective suit. If necessary, the length can be shortened by a knot in the carrier.
- the solution to the problem is also a protective suit made of film or non-woven material, in which a flat bag or piece of tubing has at least one open end, in which a joint between two seams extends from the other end to form two sleeves and in which at the inner end of the Parting line a cutout is provided for the head passage.
- a protective suit can be used as a jacket covering the arms and shoulders.
- the basic form of this protective suit is the same as that of the protective suit described above. Instead of the side incisions, a cutout is provided for the head passage. If you use both protective suits, you can cover the body of the person to a much greater extent than before.
- the parting line can be formed by a perforation, and the two seams can run parallel to one another. If the perforation runs only along a straight line, the trousers will be very wide and no material will fall off.
- the flat bag or the tube piece has a length of approximately 1.5 m and a width of approximately 0.75 m and the parting line has a length of approximately 0.7 m.
- a simple method for producing a protective suit from film material is obtained if hose pieces are separated from an endless hose film in such a way that the hose pieces have at least one open end, and if a separating joint is produced which runs from the other end of the hose piece and runs between two weld seams .
- the production is so simple because the required open end results at the same time as the separation.
- the basic shape thus formed is common for bib shorts and jacket. It is only necessary that, in the case of bib shorts, the piece of tubing is provided with two lateral incisions at the open end near the dividing line and that in the case of a jacket the piece of tubing is provided with a cutout at the inner end of the parting line. These measures can be taken in connection with the other processing steps. However, since these are very simple measures, they can also be left to the buyer. In this case, only one size of the basic shape needs to be provided for both applications and for different sizes of the bib shorts, which results in considerable rationalization successes for reasons of manufacture and storage.
- the weld seams are expediently generated by the welding stamp of a Fasson automatic welding machine.
- the weld seams can therefore be given such a shape that the legs or sleeves fit comfortably.
- the parting line can be created by a parting or perforating device of the Fasson welding machine. Separation joints and weld seams can therefore be produced in one work step.
- the piece of hose can be provided with a cross weld at the other end near the dividing line.
- the endless tubular film is perforated in the transverse direction for later separation of the tubular pieces.
- the individual protective suits are therefore not separated during manufacture, but only at a later point in time. This has advantages in the production because the hose section connected to the adjacent sections at both ends can be handled better than a hose section which is only connected on one side.
- the related protective suits are generally easier to transport and store than individual items.
- the tube piece is perforated to form the lateral incisions. At this point, too, the continuity of the continuous film tube is not completely interrupted. The user can make the side incisions without tools.
- the continuous tubular film is unwound from a first roll, passed through a perforating station and a barrel welding station and then wound up again on a roll. With the latter roll, the film can be pulled through the two stations.
- the still connected protective suits can be stored and sold as a roll.
- Fig. 1 shows a ready-to-use, one-piece disposable protective suit 1 in the form of bib shorts.
- the protective suit 1 is formed from a piece of hose 16 made of a polyethylene film. It has two trouser legs 17 and 18, which are obtained through a parting line 3 or perforation, on the two sides of which an inner, welded trouser seam 2 extends. This results in a vertical, welded leg crotch.
- a lower separating cut or a dividing line results in a lower open end 19, which leaves the two trouser legs 17 and 18 open at the bottom.
- An upper separating cut or a separating line results in an upper open end 20.
- two lateral, horizontal incisions 4 are made approximately at armpit height. In this way, there are two cut beams that are turned up and connect on both sides of a bib part 15. An opening for the head remains between the straps. There are armholes outside the straps.
- FIG. 2 A very similar protective suit 1 is illustrated in FIG. 2, which has carriers 6 designed as cut shoulders.
- the left carrier has a knot 7 for length adjustment.
- FIG. 3 shows a disposable protective suit in the form of a carrier skirt 8, which is designed like the protective suit in FIG. 1 with respect to the carriers 5.
- This carrier skirt also consists of a tube piece 16 made of polyethylene film.
- the protective suit 21 in FIG. 4 can serve as a protective jacket. It also consists of a piece of hose 16 which has an open end 19 at the bottom and an open end 20 at the top Has. A separation joint 22, which is delimited on both sides by an inner seam 23, was created by separation welding. At the inner end of the parting line 22 there is a cutout 24 open at the peripheral edge for the head passage. Two sleeves 25 and 26 then result on both sides of the parting line 22.
- FIG. 5 illustrates a film tube 27 from which a tube section 16 with a length of approximately 1.50 m and a width of approximately 0.70 m is cut off.
- the separation can be carried out in accordance with FIGS. 1 and 3 along a perforated dividing line 13 such that the lower end of the hose section 16 is open. Instead, the separation by means of separation welding can also take place along a weld seam 12, with which the hose section 16 is closed at the bottom, so that closed trouser legs 17 and 18 can result, while the subsequent hose section 16 is open at the top.
- a perforation 14 is also provided for the lateral incision 4.
- an endless tubular film 27 is unwound from a first roll 28, passed through a perforating station 29 and a barrel welding station 30 and then wound up on a second roll 31.
- the perforating device 32 does not make a separating cut at the dividing line 13, but only a perforation. In one operation, the perforations 14 for the lateral incisions 4 are produced. As a result, the tubular film 27 can be pulled through the two stations with the aid of the second roller 31 or other transport means attached to the outlet end.
- a facade welding stamp is provided in the welding device 33
- Partition welding produces both the weld seam 23 and the parting line 22.
- the distance between the perforating device 32 and the welding device 33 is chosen so that the tubular film 27 is advanced by the length of a piece of hose 16, ie about 1.5 m, so that the welding stamp separates the parting line 22 in each case following the one in the preceding Work step generated perforated dividing line 13 can connect.
- the related protective suits can be sold as roll 31.
- the buyer can then use the protective suit as pants or jacket.
- the protective suit In the former case, he creates the straps by tearing the perforation 14 along the side incisions 4.
- the suit is put on by entering the trousers part and pulling up the top part, the arms being inserted through the side incisions and thus the bib straps over the shoulders lay.
- This disposable protective suit does not require a mechanical size adjustment device or a closure device. If the protective suit is to be used as a jacket, only the cutout 24 needs to be attached.
- the protective suits can consist not only of polyethylene film, but also of other plastic films, of aluminum film or of nonwovens.
- Such a protective suit is usually worn over ordinary clothing. It protects against dirt and moisture, is heat regulating and transparent.
- the material is tearproof, environmentally friendly and inexpensive to manufacture.
- the protective suit is therefore particularly suitable for handicraftsmen and do-it-yourselfers. Another interesting application is the support of hygiene measures in health and beauty care.
- the protective suit can be manufactured inexpensively and is therefore particularly suitable for single use. It consists of a material that does not strain the wearer, i.e. very light, and is made for all body sizes.
- Each hose section 16 has a length z of approximately 1.5 m and a width b of approximately 70 to 80 cm.
- a leg crotch inner trouser seam
- a height h of approx. 70 cm is welded and separated vertically.
- it is provided in the upper part at armpit height with two lateral, horizontal incisions 4 with a length c of approximately 20 to 30 cm.
- the distance d from the dividing line 13 is approximately 6 to 10 cm.
- the disposable protective suit is manufactured and shaped using a welding stamp and perforation device on a Fasson welding machine.
- An endless tubular film with a width of 70 to 80 cm is fed in, a leg crotch (inner trouser seam) of approx. 70 cm in length is formed by two parallel weld seams 2, which can be separated by an intermediate perforation 3, whereby two trouser legs or two Sleeves arise.
- the bottom hem will characterized by a transverse perforation or weld seam and at the same time forms the dividing line 13, that is to say the end of the protective suit.
- This is followed by two incisions 4 in the form of transverse perforations, each approx. 20 to 30 cm long, at a distance of approx. 6 to 10 cm to form two cut supports 5 of approx. 20 to 30 cm in length.
- the middle part remaining between the two lateral perforations forms the bib 15.
- a one-piece disposable protective suit with a total length of approximately 1.70 to 1.80 m is produced.
- the disposable protective suit ends and begins at the transverse perforation of the lower hem.
- the disposable protective suit (bib shorts, bib skirt or jacket) can be produced in the endless process without significant waste or waste.

Abstract
Description
- Fig. 2 eine Abwandlung des Schutzanzuges der Fig. 1,
- Fig. 3 einen als Trägerrock ausgebildeten Schutzanzug,
- Fig. 4 einen als Jacke ausgebildeten Schutzanzug,
- Fig. 5 eine schematische Darstellung des Herstellungsverfahrens,
- Fig. 7 eine Seitenansicht einer Vorrichtung zur Herstellung gemäß Fig. 6.
