Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for shearing a moving material web by means of a rotating shear cylinder.
  • shear spirals On the outer surface of the shear cylinders, helically arranged shear blades, also called “shear spirals", are usually attached. Such tools generally work with one or two counter-knives with cutting edges. The number of counter knives and the number of shear spirals are decisive for the cutting performance of a clipper (cf. DE-A 3 235 160).
  • the invention is based on the object of making available a device of the type presumed to be known, the cutting performance of which is significantly increased, but without being equipped with several conventional counter knives.
  • the invention solves this problem in that a spatially held, perforated and pile height-determining thick sheet is placed around a partial circumference of the shear cylinder, the outside of the sheet forming the web support and its perforation counter-cutting for the Schzeug.
  • Each hole of the sheet arranged in the path of movement of the shear provides a shearbar with its hole edge facing the shear.
  • Each area of the goods can thus be captured and cut at a variety of interfaces.
  • the effectiveness of the "multi-cutting sheet" used according to the invention is only dependent on the design of the perforation and on the wrap angle of the sheet around the shear cylinder. There are many possible variations here.
  • the invention also has a wide variety of other significant advantages. For example, a special adjustment of the shearing or pile height is no longer necessary, because the sheet metal alone determines the pile height due to its preselectable thickness. This is due to the fact that the surface of the material to be machined rests on the outer surface of the metal sheet facing away from the shear cylinder and the inner side of the metal sheet on the sheet material, the cutting edges of which slide along this surface.
  • the material web has a supporting support, both over its entire width and over the entire shear zone, which exerts an ironing effect on the goods.
  • This has the great advantage that webs with slack or wavy web edges no longer require edge tensioners. Such edge tensioners were previously necessary and frequently led to the edges being smoothed, but slack zones being created within the web due to tension, which in turn had to be removed by spreader bars. Corrective treatment of the web of this type, which can now be dispensed with, was very tedious, complex and costly. With the invention, low-tension shearing is made possible, any folds that may occur are ironed out by the fact that the material web rests on the sheet metal side facing outward. Smoothing of the material web can also be promoted by vacuuming the shear zone.
  • shear tables can be dispensed with entirely.
  • Textile fabrics are usually sewn together to form long webs of material before shearing.
  • Conventional types of shears require seam detection and treatment in order to prevent the thickened seam from running into the shear and thus damaging the web and / or the shear.
  • Very extensive and complex devices have been created for seam detection.
  • For seam treatment either the shear tools are stopped at the seam passage, the shear tables are folded down or the shear cylinders are pivoted away from the counter knife. It is also known to push seam protection hoods between the web and the cutting edge when a seam happens. All of these methods are very complex and lead to the interruption of the production process and / or to the impairment of one, if only brief, web section.
  • the device according to the invention is particularly suitable for bald shearing or for cleaning fabrics.
  • the sheet can be designed in a flexible manner, which is particularly advantageous when using relatively thin sheets. It is thought of Use foils or sheets with a thickness of 0.1 to 1.5 mm.
  • the sheet metal can be held in the machine direction behind the shear cylinder and held against the shear cylinder solely due to the web tension.
  • An adjustable and adjustable clamping device is also possible to hold the sheet tight.
  • shear patterns can be generated in a simple manner. For example, it is possible to give a web of stripes a striped pattern by passing them successively over differently perforated sheets and shearing only one or more longitudinal zones.
  • the device 10 comprises a shear cylinder 11, on the outer surface 11 a of which a number of shear spirals 12 are arranged in a helical manner in a known manner.
  • the shear cylinder 11 shown is designed as a hollow cylinder; his jacket is provided with air passage openings 13.
  • the interior 11 b of such a perforated hollow cylinder can be connected to a negative pressure source, with which a suction of the shear zone is achieved, on the one hand to straighten the pile to be sheared and on the other hand to suck off sheared particles, impurities, missing threads or the like.
  • the outside of the shear cylinder 11 is otherwise surrounded by a cover 14.
  • the shear cylinder can also be closed-walled, as illustrated in FIG. 2.
  • a sheet 17 is fixed on one side at 16.
  • This sheet 17 is placed around a partial circumference 18 of the shear cylinder 11 and provided with a hole pattern; individual holes are designated 19.
  • the outside 17b of the sheet 17 serves as a support for a web 20 which, with its side to be processed, which has the pile 21, is guided over the sheet 17 facing the shear cylinder 11.
  • the sheet 17 and the web 20 so nestle on a partial circumference of the shear cylinder 11.
  • the direction of web travel is indicated by arrow 22, the direction of rotation of the shear cylinder 11 by arrow 23.
  • the sheet 17 can also be designed to be flexible in the form of a film.
  • an adjustable or adjustable clamping device can also be provided for holding the sheet 17 tight, which is indicated by the arrow 24 in FIG. 1.
  • edges or edges 19a of the holes 19 which point against the direction of rotation 23 of the shear cylinder 11 form counter-cutting edges for the cutting edges 12a of the shear spirals 12.
  • each shear spiral encounters a number of such shearbars 19a, as a result of which a high cutting performance is achieved.
  • the counter cutting edges 19a do not have an orientation that exactly coincides with the inclination of the shear spiral 12, and consequently - as can be seen in FIG. 2 - have an angular deviation in relation to them, a favorable pulling cut always takes place.
  • the thickness 17a of the sheet 17 is decisive for the height of the shearing or pile.
  • a sheet 17 with a diamond-shaped hole pattern is shown as an example. If one leaves, as indicated in FIG. 2 with 25, unperforated sheet metal sections limited in the axial direction of the shear cylinder, no shearing takes place in these strip-shaped zones. In this way, in particular with a subsequent shearing of these initially untreated parts, strip-like effects can be achieved with a different shearing height setting.
