Definitions
- the present invention relates to a self-loading device with a multi-part sleeve, with a barrel, an ignition chamber adjoining it, a reloading device, an ignition device and an adjoining the ignition chamber, containing the ammunition, and corresponding arrow ammunition with a multi-part sleeve.
- the breech In known firearms, the breech has the task of transporting ammunition from the magazine into the cartridge chamber and ejecting the cartridge case. This results in complicated design and expensive manufacture of the closure. Furthermore, lubrication during long-term firing, care and maintenance of the breech are complex due to its complicated construction.
- the self-loading device is characterized in that the ignition chamber has the diameter of the barrel and is formed by an ignition chamber trough, a reloading slide which is longitudinally displaceable on the trough and has a jacket part and a chamber rear wall, and a fixedly connected to the barrel and trough. enclosing the jacket part of the reloading carriage, the tensioning of the ignition device being carried out by relative movement between the reloading carriage and the jacket.
- the weapon When the weapon is ready to fire, there is a projectile in the ignition chamber; the trained as the ignition chamber cover Reload carriage is in the closed position.
- the cartridge case When the shot is fired, the cartridge case, as will be explained in more detail below, leaves the barrel together with the projectile.
- the reloading slide is moved backwards due to the gas pressure acting on the rear wall of the chamber.
- the ignition chamber is open when the reloading slide is moved to the rear. However, the expanding gases are prevented from exiting the chamber by the jacket and the magazine.
- a conventional type of closure is eliminated, and the correspondingly complex maintenance and lubrication problems do not arise; in particular, there is no ejector and discharge opening.
- the recoil can be formed by suitable damping means in the piston or the carriage.
- Ammunition suitable for firing in the self-loading device described above is characterized in that the sleeve has a metal, hollow-cylindrical jacket and a base which gasifies on ignition.
- the sleeve base which preferably consists of "nipolite" gasifies.
- the projectile and the casing are driven out by the expanding gases.
- the GE lap has stabilizing wings, a twist is not necessary.
- the bullet and the sleeve casing separate due to the air resistance which occurs and which increasingly attacks the sleeve.
- the magazine located directly behind the ignition chamber pan has a longitudinally movable cover.
- the extending reloading slide presses the lid with the chamber rear wall into the open position.
- the lid closes e.g. by spring pressure when retracting the slide.
- the ignition chamber pan 5 is formed in one piece with the barrel 1.
- the reloading carriage 6, 7 consists of the casing part 6 and the ignition chamber rear wall 7, it is in the closed position. With the barrel 1 and the chamber tub 5, the jacket 8 is firmly connected; a stop ring 9 for a compression spring 12 is shrunk onto the latter, for example.
- the ring 9 has bores; connecting rods formed as tension rods 10 are mounted therein and connect the slidably on the barrel 1 arranged sliding ring 11 with the chamber rear wall 7.
- the compression springs 12, running around the tension rods 10, act on the rings 9, 11 ..
- the magazine 4 contains cartridges 13.
- One on the cartridges. acting magazine spring is conventional and has been omitted to relieve the drawing.
- a magazine cover 15 is pressed into the open position by the extending rear wall 7 of the chamber; when the wall 7 is retracted, it returns due to e.g. a spring not shown in the closed position.
- An ignition pin 23 of the ignition device shown in more detail in FIG. 4 protrudes into the bore 14 of the rear wall 7 of the chamber.
- Fig. 2 shows the phase of reloading after firing a shot.
- the reloading carriage 6, 7 is extended in the open position due to gases acting on the chamber rear wall 7.
- the magazine spring has pressed a further cartridge 13 into the carriage 6, 7.
- the ignition device is cocked.
- the sliding ring 11 has moved against the casing 8 and the ring 9 and the spring 12 has been tensioned.
- a cartridge 13 consists of the projectile 15, which has stabilizing wings 16 (FIG. 3).
- the metal sleeve 17 carries a reinforcement ring 18 resting on the floor 19 is an ignition compound 20 for igniting the propellant charge 21.
- the sleeve base is preferably made of "nipolite”. This material has the following properties: Although explosive, it can be processed like a metallic material. When fired, it supports the effect of the propellant charge and completely gasifies.
- FIG. 4 shows an ignition device proposed for the self-charging device according to the invention. Shown is a section perpendicular to that of FIGS. 1 and 2 through the line of symmetry of the barrel corresponding to line A-A in FIG. 1. The phase after the end of the tensioning process is shown purely schematically.
- the housing 20 of the ignition device is connected to the jacket 8 and is stationary with respect to this.
- a carrier device 21 for the ignition pin 23 Arranged on the rear wall 7 of the chamber, there is a carrier device 21 for the ignition pin 23; in accordance with the displacement of the reloading carriage 6, 7, the carrier device 21 is displaced relative to the housing 20. This also results in a displacement of the articulation point 25 connecting the levers 24, 24 '.
- the degree of movement of the lever ends 27, 27 ' is determined by the location of the hinge point 25 on the levers 24, 24 '.
- a pawl 29 interacts with a holding bolt 30 arranged on the lever 24 such that the levers 24, 24' are locked in their position.
- the tensioning process is finished (Fig. 4).
- the ignition device can be unlocked by pivoting the pawl about its base point 29 by actuating the trigger with the aid of a conventional transmission device (not shown in more detail).
- a locking lever 41 guided at one end by a groove 40 has the effect that relaxation of the ignition device is only possible in the closed position of the reloading slide 6, 7.

Abstract
Description
