Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft eine Öffnungsvorrichtung für ein Gepäckstück mit einem Schwenkgriff, der durch ein verschwenken Verriegelungsteile der Vorrichtung betätigt.
  • Bei bekannten Gepäckstücken wird das Öffnen mit Hilfe von Zugschnüren, Schwenkhebeln oder Drückvorrichtungen vorgenommen, deren Hauptnachteil darin besteht, daß sie einem gewaltsamen Aufbrechen verhältnismäßig wenig Widerstand bieten, da sie erhabene Teile aufweisen, an denen Werkzeuge angesetzt werden können. Außerdem ist die Formschönheit der bekannten Vorrichtungen wegen der erhabenen Teile fragwürdig (US-A-4 263 794).
  • Es stellte sich daher die Aufgabe, eine Öffnungsvorrichtung für ein Gepäckstück zur Verfügung zu stellen, die das gewaltsame Aufbrechen des Gepäckstücks erschwert und zugleich sein Aussehen verbessert.
  • Erfindungsgemäß wird diese Aufgabe bei einer Vorrichtung der eingangs genannten Art dadurch gelöst, daß der Schwenkgriff durch Betätigen eines Teils an eine Drehachse ankuppelbar ist, um die sich der Griff dreht und die insbesondere über Zwischenteile den Öffnungsmechanismus betätigt.
  • An Hand der Zeichnung wird die Erfindung näher erläutert.
  • Es zeigen :
    • Figur 1 eine Längsschnittansicht der Vorrichtung nach einem Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß der Erfindung und
    • Figur 2 eine Schnittansicht längs der Linie II-II in Figur 1.
  • Bei dem dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel ist die Öffnungsvorrichtung mit einem Verriegelungsschloß versehen. Die Erfindung ist aber auch bei Vorrichtungen anwendbar, die keine derartige Verriegelungseinrichtung aufweisen.
  • Bei dem dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel umfaßt die Vorrichtung einen Schwenkgriff 1, in dessen einem vertikalen Schenkel ein Druckstift 2 angeordnet ist, der rechtwinklig zur Schwenkachse des Griffes 1 verschiebbar ist und von einer Druckfeder 3 nach außen gedrückt wird. Der Druckstift 2 ist so befestigt, daß er nicht über den Griff 1 vorsteht.
  • Die Drehbarkeit des Griffes 1 ermöglicht eine Achse 4 in dem Griffschenkel, der sich dem Druckstift 2 gegenüber befindet, und eine verschiebbare Achse 5 in dem anderen Schenkel. Die Achse 5 weist einen Ausschnitt 6 auf, der sich in axialer Richtung in Flucht mit dem Ende 7 des Druckstiftes 2 befindet. Eine Feder 8 sucht die Achse 5 in eine Richtung zu verschieben, in der sich der Ausschnitt 6 nicht in Flucht mit dem Ende 7 des Druckstiftes 2 befindet (in der Zeichnung dargestellte Stellung). Mit der Achse 5 ist ein Ritzel 9 verbunden, an das sich ein Führungsachsenstumpf 10 anschließt. Das Ritzel 9 kämmt eine Zahnstange 11, die mit einem Verschlußriegel 12 verbunden ist.
  • Die Achse 5 ist gegen die Wirkung der Feder 8 durch einen Nocken 13 verschiebbar, der an einem Ende des Achsenstumpfes 10 anliegt und mit einem Schloßzylinder 14 verbunden ist, der durch einen codierten Schlüssel 15 betätigt wird. Der Verschlußriegel 12 betätigt ein Gestänge 16, das von Federn zurückgestellt wird und in üblicher Weise - z. B. durch Haken (nicht dargestellt) - das Gepäckstück öffnet.
  • Die ganze Vorrichtung ist in einem Gehäuse 17 eingeschlossen, das an dem (nicht dargestellten) Gepäckstück befestigt und gegenüber dem Innenraum des Gepäckstücks durch einen Deckel 18 abgeschlossen ist.
  • In der in der Zeichnung dargestellten Verschlußstellung befindet sich der Achsenstumpf 10 in einer Aussparung des Nockens 13, und die Gleitachse 5 ist durch die Feder 8 derart nach links (in der Zeichnung) verschoben, daß sich der Auschnitt 6 nicht in Flucht mit dem Ende 7 des Druckstifts 2 befindet. Wenn auf den Druckstift 2 Druck ausgeübt wird, so stößt sein Ende 7 auf einen vollwandigen Teil der Gleitachse 5, und eine Betätigung der Öffnungsvorrichtung ist nicht möglich.
  • Wird der Schloßzylinder 14 mit Hilfe des Schlütsels 15 gedreht, so verschiebt der Nocken 13 den Achsenstumpf 10 nach rechts (in der Zeichnung) ; das Ritzel 9 läuft über die Zahnstange 11, und der Ausschnitt 6 kommt in Flucht mit dem Ende 7 des Druckstiftes 2. Die Vorrichtung kann nun entriegelt werden. Man beachte, daß bei einer Vorrichtung, die kein Verriegelungsschloß umfaßt, die Achse 5 keine Längsbewegung ausführt und der Ausschnitt 6 sich immer in Flucht mit dem Ende 7 des Druckstiftes 2 befindet.
  • Sowohl in der Verriegelungs- als auch in der Entriegelungsstellung kann der Griff 1 frei um die Achsen 4 und 5 geschwenkt werden. In einer bestimmten Winkelstellung des Griffes 1, vorzugsweise in einer vertikalen Stellung, die durch den Anschlag des Griffes 1 an einen Ansatz 19 des Gehäuses 17 festgelegt ist, gelangt der Ausschnitt 6 in Flucht mit dem Ende 7 des Druckstiftes 2. Wenn nun der Druckstift 2 gegen die Wirkung der Feder 3 niedergedrückt wird, so dringt das Ende 7 in den Ausschnitt 6 ein, und ein anschließendes Verschwenken des Griffes 1 erzeugt eine Drehung der Achse 5. Das mit der Achse verbundene Ritzel 9 kämmt die Zahnstange 11, die ihrerseits eine Verschiebung des Riegels 12 und damit des Gestänges 16 bewirkt, wodurch das Gepäckstück geöffnet wird. Das Gestänge 16 wird durch Federn (nicht dargestellt) zurückgestellt, und das System kehrt in in die Schließstellung zurück, sobald der Druckstift 2 nicht mehr niedergedrückt wird. Das Schließen erfolgt durch eine gegenläufige Bewegung unter der Wirkung der Federn, unabhängig von der Winkelstellung, die der Griff 1 einnimmt.

Claims (6)

1. Öffnungsvorrichtung für ein Gepäckstück mit einem Schwenkgriff, der durch ein Verschwenken Verriegelungsteile der Vorrichtung betätigt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Schwenkgriff (1) durch Betätigen eines Teils (2) an eine Drehachse (5) ankuppelbar ist, um die sich der Griff (1) dreht und die insbesondere über Zwischenteile (9, 11) den Öffnungsmechanismus (12, 16) betätigt.
2. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Bauteile zum Übertragen der Drehbewegung einen Druckstift (2) umfassen, der in einem Schenkel des Griffes (1) gegen die Wirkung einer Feder (3) verschiebbar ist und mit einem Ausschnitt (6) in der Drehachse (5) des Griffes (1) zusammenwirkt.
3. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Drehachse (5) mit einem Ritzel (9) verbunden ist.
4. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Ritzel (9) eine Zahnstange (11) kämmt, die mit einem Verschlußriegel (12) verbunden ist.
5. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Drehachse (5) gegen die Wirkung einer Rückstellfeder (8) in axialer Richtung verschiebbar ist und mit einem Nocken (13) zusammenwirkt, der mit einem Schloßzylinder (14) verbunden ist.
6. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Ausschnitt (6) sich in Flucht mit dem Ende (7) des Druckstiftes (2) befindet.
