Definitions

  • the invention relates to a screen deck for screening machines, trays or the like, consisting of a supporting structure and releasably fastened thereon, with a plurality of individual screen components provided with screen openings, which complement each other to form a continuous separating surface and have the shape of a polygon in plan.
  • a screen deck of this type is known (DE-A-2 632 511), in which the substantially square screen components are not only fastened to the supporting structure at their four corners, but directly with opposite longitudinal sides on parallel struts forming the supporting structure lie on.
  • the edges of the sieve elements overlap the struts of the supporting structure and are therefore supported along the entire length of their long side.
  • the known embodiment suffers from the disadvantage that the screen elements cannot have any screen openings in the area of their longitudinal edges resting on the support struts, which limits the effective, open screen area.
  • the struts of the support structure must be adapted to the support sides of the screen components both in their course and in their dimensions. A predetermined width of the support struts of the support structure cannot therefore be undershot, as a result of which the material expenditure for the support structure cannot be further reduced in the known design.
  • a sieve tray is already part of the state of the art, the sieve components of which can be supported on spacers on trusses of the sieving machine (GB-A-1 107049).
  • This known sieve plate does not provide any information for increasing the effective, open sieve area in the case of a sieve plate that has a large number of sieve components.
  • the sieve bottom is continuously supported in the longitudinal direction of the machine by the fastening profiles serving as spacer elements.
  • the invention achieves the task of achieving a larger, effectively effective, open screen area of the entire screen components.
  • the support of the sieve components only in the area of the corners thereof enables the effective effective open sieve area to be enlarged, the sieve openings being able to reach to the edge of the individual sieve components or even beyond.
  • the support structure which is offset from the underside of the sieve components at a distance from the bottom, does not impede the passage of the screenings, even in the area of those screen openings which, viewed in the direction of fall of the screenings, lie above the individual struts of the support structure.
  • the struts of the supporting structure can have a streamlined shape on their upper side and / or can be provided with a wear protection layer.
  • the spacer elements can either be firmly attached to the sieve components or can be designed as separate components that can be inserted between the sieve components and the supporting structure. It is also possible to arrange the spacer elements firmly on the supporting structure.
  • the spacer elements can advantageously be formed by bearing blocks on the supporting structure.
  • the aerodynamic shape of the support structure can be formed by inclined or convexly curved upper sides of the struts.
  • the tops of the struts can have a gable roof shape.
  • the sieve components are advantageously fixed directly in the receiving openings of the spacer elements by means of lugs on the corner and / or by means of locking pins.
  • the sieve components consist of elastic solid material with fully or partially embedded reinforcement. It is also advantageous if the sieve components have circumferential sealing lips on lateral abutting surfaces.
  • Each individual sieve element has the basic shape of a regular polygon and, in a preferred embodiment, the shape of a square, as shown in the drawing. It is important that not only the attachment but also the support of the individual sieve components only takes place in the area of the corners of the respective polygon, that is to say in the area of the four corners with a square basic shape. If the sieve components have a larger number of corners, the support of the individual sieve components can also be provided only at some of these corners. It is thus possible to attach and support a hexagonal or octagonal sieve component only in the area of every second corner.
  • the sieve components 1 are essentially composed of edge webs 2 and intersecting inner webs 3, which enclose sieve openings 4.
  • the screen openings 4 have the same basic shape as the screen component 1 itself, but they can also have a different shape, in particular a slot or slot shape.
  • the sieve components 1 have lugs 6 on the underside, which project downward beyond the lower boundary surface of the sieve components 1. With these undersides 6 on the underside, the sieve components 1 are fastened to an underlying support structure 7, the connection of the sieve components 1 to the support structure 7 via spacer elements 8. These spacer elements 8 provide a distance “A” between the underside of the sieve components 1 and the top of the supporting structure 7. The sieve components 1 can also be fastened to the spacer elements 8 differently than via the lugs 6.
  • the support structure 7 consists of tubular support struts onto which bearing blocks 9 are placed as spacer elements 8 in the region of the adjacent corners 5 of the sieve components 1.

  • the lugs 6 of the sieve components 1 have the shape of a quarter cylinder or quarter cylinder tube, so that the square basic shape of the Sieve components 1 complement the four adjoining lugs 6 at the adjacent corners 5 of the sieve components 1 to form a full cylinder or full cylinder tube engaging in the receiving opening 10 of the respective bearing block 9.
  • the corner-side lugs 6 of the sieve components 1 can be fixed in the receiving openings 10 of the bearing blocks 9 either via a push-button-like design or via additional expansion pins to be used.

  • the attachment of the spacer components 16 on the underlying support structure 7 can take place via underside molded-on locking heads 18, which are buttoned into corresponding fastening openings 19 of the support structure 7.
  • the spacer components 16 expediently consist of an elastic material, such as in particular plastic, from which the sieve components 1 are preferably also produced.

  • FIG. 6 shows an embodiment of a screen cover according to the invention, in which the spacer elements 8 are seated on the supporting structure 7 in a frame-fixed manner.

  • a saddle roof-shaped bevel of the upper sides 21 of the struts 20 of the supporting structure 7 is thus achieved in order to facilitate sliding of the screened material from the struts 20.
  • the wear on the supporting structure by the screenings is reduced to a minimum, on the other hand, this measure also prevents the screenings from being deposited on the upper side of the supporting structure 7.
  • FIG. 7 shows further cross-sectional shapes for the struts of the supporting structure 7, with which these advantages are achieved.
  • FIG. 7a shows again the square cross-sectional profile for the struts 20 with top surfaces 21 which are slanted in the form of a gable roof.
  • Fig. 7b also shows a strut 22 with a saddle roof-shaped sloping tops 21, but this is achieved here in that an angle rail is placed on the top of a flat lying square profile.
  • 7c shows a strut 23 which has a cylindrical tubular cross-sectional profile with a curved upper side 24. In the same way, the strut 25 shown in FIG.
  • the screen components 1 are only point-supported at their corners, there is a risk that free gaps can form downward between the side abutting surfaces 26 of the adjacent screen components 1, through which screenings can pass.
  • the sieve components 1 can have at least one circumferential sealing lip 27 along their lateral abutting surfaces 26, which is illustrated in FIG. 8.
  • Fig. 9 shows a screen component as it is preferably used for a screen deck of the type according to the invention. It consists of an elastic solid material that is reinforced by an embedded reinforcement 28, 29.
  • the reinforcement is divided into an outer circumferential ring reinforcement 28 located in the area of the edge webs 2, which essentially extends between the support corners 5 of the sieve components 1.
  • This ring reinforcement 28 is supplemented by a cross-shaped reinforcement 29, which is arranged in the direction of the transverse and longitudinal center of the sieve components 1.
  • Both the outer reinforcement 28 and the inner, crossing reinforcement 29 can be completely or partially embedded in the elastic solid material of the sieve components 1.
  • the sieve components 1 consist of elastic solid material with an outer, annular reinforcement 28, which extends between the support corners 5 of the sieve components 1.
  • the reinforcement 28 is offset somewhat inwards so that half, outwardly opening sieve openings 30 can be formed along the edges of the sieve components 1, which, as shown in FIG. 10, coincide with the peripheral, half sieve openings 30 of adjacent sieve components 1 complete to full sieve openings. This results in a screen surface with a uniform grid for the screen openings, which extends over all screen components 1.
  • the same effect can also be achieved if the edge webs 2 of the sieve components 1 are made half as wide as the inner webs 3.
