Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for picking up debris on traffic areas by means of a suction air flow through a suction pipe, the mouthpiece of which is guided at a short distance from the floor surface to be cleaned and is arranged in the apex of a housing which widens in a V-shape in the working direction and whose legs form bend strips which forms a collecting space covered by a hood, in which the debris, possibly supported by rotating brooms, is collected and fed to the mouthpiece.
  • a suction pipe for receiving debris by means of a suction air flow, a suction pipe is provided, the mouthpiece of which is guided at a short distance from the floor surface to be cleaned, and in which a suction pipe opens out laterally and towards the floor surface is open, whereby an increased sweeping width is achieved.
  • the invention has for its object to develop a device of the type mentioned in such a way that an enlarged sweeping width can be achieved with a sharp suction air flow that meets all sweeping tasks.
  • each of the two legs of the V-shaped housing is designed as a suction sweeper strip with a laterally opening and open to the floor surface suction channel between a front and a rear boundary part seen in the direction of travel, and that the suction opening of the mouthpiece with the collecting room and the two side suction channels.
  • the front and rear boundary parts of the suction channels can be designed as contacting or non-contacting components with respect to the floor area. Reference is made to the various embodiments according to subclaims 2 to 5.
  • a mouthpiece proves to be expedient, which is widened in a funnel shape transversely to the working direction between the suction pipe connection and the housing; its rear wall and the leg strip extending downward form an acute angle with the floor surface in the working direction.
  • the latter measure also scoops large-volume debris in the area of the mouthpiece, that is, detaches it from the bottom surface, so that it is lifted into the suction flow and accelerated accordingly.
  • hood is provided on its side facing the floor with a slack lining which is subjected to the action of the suction in the suction pipe on both sides.
  • Such a lining normally reduces the inlet opening in accordance with a precisely adjustable maximum continuity, so that there is a high suction speed. Uneven floors are easily tolerated by the flexible feed, d. H. it deforms according to the elevations of the floor without being sucked into the floor.
  • the chuck is only fastened along the front or front and rear edges, each running transversely to the working direction, but ends freely along the side edges, such that the side edges are washed by the suction air flow.
  • a rubber apron or a similar flexible structure made of rubber-like material or plastic is particularly suitable as the lining.
  • Such a feed not only has the property that it reduces the intake cross section in normal use; it also has a further improvement in sweeping performance in that it is excited to vibrate under the action of the air flow, causing the air flow to pulsate at a frequency of approx. 1 / sec.
  • the vibration behavior of the feed is further favored by the further configuration that, with the feed attached only along the front edge, its rear edge is movably suspended on ropes.
  • the ropes also serve to secure the forage against contact with the ground.
  • the feed consists of stretch-resistant material and that in the space between Lining and hood easily deformable filling material z. B. is filled in the form of bulk material.
  • connection flange 1 for the upwardly adjoining suction pipe (not shown), a mouthpiece 2 which is integrally formed on the connection flange 1 and is funnel-shaped in the lateral direction, which in turn has a Hood 3 is connected.
  • the hood 3 covers a space enclosed between two V-shaped sweeping bars 4 facing each other and is towards the front, i. H. open in the working direction according to arrow A, where it ends with an upwardly curved edge 5.
  • the side closure of the housing is formed by side parts 6, each of which carries a skid with a front wear rail 8 and a rear wear rail 7 on their underside.
  • the suction channel 10 is formed within the side legs 11, 12 of the housing, such that it abuts a rear leg strip 13 and a front leg strip 14.
  • the flow arrows denote the course of the suction air flow from the front through the opening of the hood 3 and from the rear through the gap between the bottom surface and the rear leg strip 13.
  • the side suction supports 9 of the corresponding suction channel 10 can be clearly seen in the side view according to FIG. it extends over the full height of the lateral skid 15, including its wear rails 7, 8.
  • the side part 6 limits the hood 3, on which the mouthpiece 2 with the connecting flange 1 for the intake manifold is attached to the rear.
  • the low-pressure zone in front of the suction opening 16 draws air both from the front through the inlet opening 17 of the hood 3 and from behind from below the rear leg strip 13.
  • the hood 3 is on its underside with a sagging flexible lining 19, z. B. a rubber apron, which is fastened in the front in the region of the inclined edge 5 of the hood 3 by means of a clamping strip 20 and inside the mouthpiece 2 in the region of the suction opening 16 by means of a further clamping strip 21.
  • the chuck 19 narrows the height of the intake cross section to the dimension h, without, however, appreciably restricting the maximum height of the hood 3 for the passage of large-volume debris.
  • the narrowing of the intake cross section as a result of the lining 19 results in a desirable increase in the speed of the air flow.
  • the middle section according to FIG. 3 only shows the rear leg strip 13 which extends over the entire width of the housing of the device
  • the side section according to FIG. 4 also shows the front leg strip 14 and the cross section of the suction channel 10 formed between the two leg strips.
  • FIG. 5 shows, in particular, the design of a side part 6 and the cross-sectional shape of a sliding skid 15 with the wear rail 8 fastened underneath it.
  • the chuck 19 forms a gap along its side edges with a width a inner surface of the side walls 22 of the hood 3.
  • the space above the feed 19 is also under the influence of the suction, so that the risk of the feed being sucked down is avoided.
  • the chuck 19 is clamped only along the front edge.
  • the lining 19 ends freely at the rear edge and is held against sagging only by means of one or more ropes 23.
  • the suction 19 in the area of the suction opening 16 keeps the feed in suspension, whereby it flutters in the suction flow and generates the desired pulsations of the suction air flow.
  • Fig. 7 shows a variant in which, instead of the rear sweeper strip 13, a further apron 26 is provided made of flexible material, which allows a very tight adjustment of the rear suction gap of the width b.
  • Both the lining 19 and the apron 26 are loaded with bulk material.
  • the space between the lining 19 and the hood 3 is with a granular bulk 24, the space between the apron 26 and an upper cover plate 27 is completely or partially filled with a plate-like bulk 25.
  • the prerequisite here is that the rubber material has a fabric insert that limits its stretch; Of course, stretch-resistant, flexible foils made of other materials are also suitable.
