Claims (2)
1. Fremgangsmåde til dekodning af kodede data af et blokbillede, hvor de kodede data indeholder en kodet værdi og en kodet niveauværdi, hvor den kodede værdi opnås ved kodning med variabel længde af en værdi, som angiver antallet af på hinanden følgende kvantiserede koefficienter, som hver har en nulværdi, og den kodede niveauværdi opnås ved kodning med variabel længde af en niveauværdi, som angiver en værdi af en kvantiseret koefficient, som har en ikke-nulværdi, efter kvantiserede koefficienter, som har nulværdier; kendetegnet ved, at fremgangsmåden omfatter: modtagelse af de kodede data; dekodning med variabel længde af den kodede værdi for at opnå en dekodet værdi; dekodning med variabel længde af den kodede værdi for at opnå en dekodet niveauværdi; og opnåelse af de kvantiserede koefficienter af blokbilledet fra den dekodede niveauværdi og den dekodede værdi, hvor dekodningen af den kodede værdi udføres fra en højfrekvenskomponent til en lavfrekvenskomponent ved anvendelse af en flerhed af kodetabeller, hvor en kodetabel af flerheden af kodetabeller udvælges i overensstemmelse med information, der repræsenterer et totalt antal af ikke-dekodede nulværdi-koefficienter, som ikke er blevet dekodet.
2.
