Abstract
【解決手段】 復号化されていないラン値に対応する未復号化ゼロ値係数の個数情報に基づいて、符号化ラン値を高周波成分から低周波成分の順に可変長復号化し、符号化レベル値を高周波成分から低周波成分の順に可変長復号化し、復号化されたラン値と復号化されたレベル値とから得た復号化された変換係数を逆スキャンして、逆スキャンされた変換係数を得るようにした。

Claims (3)
- 一次元列にスキャンされた複数の変換係数を、非ゼロ値係数の直前にある連続するゼロ値係数の個数を示すラン値と、該非ゼロ値係数の値を示すレベル値との対からなるラン・レベル対に変換し、前記ラン値と前記レベル値とを可変長符号化して得られた符号化ラン値と符号化レベル値とをブロック単位で復号化する復号化方法であって、
前記符号化ラン値を高周波成分から低周波成分の順に可変長復号化するステップと、
前記符号化レベル値を高周波成分から低周波成分の順に可変長復号化するステップと、
復号化されたラン値と復号化されたレベル値とから復号化された変換係数を得るステップと、
前記復号化された変換係数を逆スキャンして、逆スキャンされた変換係数を得るステップとを含み、
前記符号化ラン値を可変長復号化するステップでは、
復号化されていないラン値に対応する未復号化ゼロ値係数の個数情報に基づいて、高周波成分から低周波成分の順に、前記復号化されていないラン値を可変長復号化する、
ことを特徴とする復号化方法。 - 請求項1記載の復号化方法において、
前記複数の変換係数は、量子化された変換係数である、
ことを特徴とする復号化方法。 - 一次元列にスキャンされた複数の変換係数を、非ゼロ値係数の直前にある連続するゼロ値係数の個数を示すラン値と、該非ゼロ値係数の値を示すレベル値との対からなるラン・レベル対に変換し、前記ラン値と前記レベル値とを可変長符号化して得られた符号化ラン値と符号化レベル値とをブロック単位で復号化する復号化装置であって、
前記符号化ラン値を高周波成分から低周波成分の順に可変長復号化する手段と、
前記符号化レベル値を高周波成分から低周波成分の順に可変長復号化する手段と、
復号化されたラン値と復号化されたレベル値とから復号化された変換係数を得る手段と、
前記復号化された変換係数を逆スキャンして、逆スキャンされた変換係数を得る手段とを含み、
前記符号化ラン値を可変長復号化する手段は、
復号化されていないラン値に対応する未復号化ゼロ値係数の個数情報に基づいて、高周波成分から低周波成分の順に、前記復号化されていないラン値を可変長復号化する、
ことを特徴とする復号化装置。
