Als Anionen heterocyclischer Carbonsäuren geeignet sind beispielsweise die Anionen der Brenzschleinisäure,
Dehydroschleimsäure, Indolyl(J)-essigsäure.
Geeignete Anionen aromatischer Sulfonsäuren sind L. B. die Anionen der Benzolsulfonsaure,
Benzolsulfonsäuren 1,3),
t-Chlorbenzolsulfonsäure,
5- Nitrobenzolsulfonsäure,
6-Chlor-3-nitrobenzolsulfonsäure,
Toluolsulfonsäure-(4),
Toluolsulfonsäure-(2),

Ein geeignetes Anion heterocyclischer Sulfonsäuren ist L B. das Anion der Chinolinsulfonsäure-(5).
Weiterhin kommen die Anionen von Arylsulfin-, -phosphon- und -phosphonigsäuren, wie Benzolsulfin-
und Benzolphosphonsäure in BetrachL
Bevorzugt sind farblose Anionen, die die Wasserlöslichkeit der kationischen Verbindungen nicht zu stark
herabsetzen. Das Anion ist im allgemeinen durch das Herstellungsverfahren und die eventuell vorgenommene
Reinigung der kationischen Verbindungen gegeben. Im allgemeinen liegen die kationischen Verbindungen
als Halogenide (insbesondere als Chloride oder Bromide) oder als Methosulfate, Äthosulfate, Sulfate, Benzoloder
Toluolsulfonate oder als Acetate vor. Diese Anionen können in bekannter Weise gegen andere
Anionen ausgetauscht werden.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Farbstoffe eignen sich zum Färben, Bedrucken und Massefärben von natürlichen,
halbsynthetischen und synthetischen Materialien, vor

allem für Materialien aus Polyacrylnitril oder aus Mischpolymerisaten des Acrylnitril mit anderen Vinylverbindungen,
wie Vinylchlorid, Vinylidenchlorid, Vinylfluorid, Vinylacetat, Vinylalkohol, Acryl- und Methacrylsäureestern
und -amiden, as. Dicyanäthylen oder aus sauer modifizierten aromatischen Polyestern. Sauer
modifizierte aromatische Polyester sind beispielsweise Polykondensationsprodukte aus Sulfonterephthalsäure
und Äthylenglykol, d.h. sulfonsäuregruppenhaltige Polyäthylenglykolterephthalaten, wie sie in der belgischen
Patentschrift 5 49 179 und der US-Patentschrift 28 93 816 beschrieben sind. Ferner eignen sich die Farbstoffe
zum Färben von sauer modifiziertem Polyamid.
Die Färbungen und Drucke auf diesen Materialien besitzen ausgezeichnete Echtheiten, insbesondere
Lichtechtheit. Die Farbstoffe zeichnen sich durch außergewöhnliche Farbstärke aus und weisen sehr gute
Reservierwirkung gegenüber Wolle, Baumwolle und nicht sauer modifiziertem Polyester und Polyamid auf.
Es sind bereits zahlreiche kationische Polymethinfarbstoffe bekannt, deren Methinbrüche mit dem Stickstoffatom
eines Indolinringes verbunden ist. Von diesen Farbstoffen sind den neuen Farbstoffen I nächstvergleichbare
Farbstoffe in der DE-AS 10 45 360 und der US-PS 23 04 981 beschrieben. Gegenüber den bekannten
Farbstoffen zeichnen sich die neuen Farbstoffe durch eine höhere Ziehgeschwindigkeit auf Polyacrylnitril
aus.
Die in den Beispielen angegebenen Teile sind Gewichtsteile.
13,3 Teile 2-Methylindolin werden mit 25,J- feilen
2 (2-Diniethylaminovinyl)- 3-methylbenzthiazoliumchlorid
in 50 Teilen 20%iger Schwefelsäure und 30 Teilen Eisessig 24 Stunden bei 500C gerührt. Anschließend
wird die Reaktionsmischung in 500 Feilen 10%iger Kochsalzläsung gegossen. Der Faibstoff wird
abgesaugt, aus Wasser umkristallisiert und bei 70°C im Vakuum getrocknet.

Mit dem Farbstoff werden auf Polyacrylnitril- und sauer modifizierten Polyester- oder Polyamidfasern
klare gelbe Färbungen erhalten, die sich durch sehr gute Echtheiten auszeichnen.
Ein gleichwertiger Gelbfarbstoff wurde erhalten, wenn anstelle des 2-Methylindolins die äquivalente
Menge 1,2,3,4,10.11-Hexahydrocarbazol eingesetzt wur-
de; der Farbstoff hat dann die Formel

Das verwendete 2-(2-Dimethylaminovinyl)-3-methylbenzthiazoliumchlorid
war wie folgt hergestellt wor den:
26 Teile 2,3-Dimethylbenzthiazolium-methosulfat
26 Teile 2,3-Dimethylbenzthiazolium-methosulfat
ι > wurden in 20 Teilen Pyridin suspendiert und mit einer
Lösung von 7,5 Teilen Dimethylformamid in 50 Teilen Phosphoroxychlorid versetzt; dabei stieg die Temperatur
auf 90°C. Nach 30minütigem Nachrühren wurde die Reaktionsmischung unter Eiskühlung in 500 Teile
JIi 20%ige Kochsalzlösung eingetragen. Das auskristallisierte
2(2-Dimethylaminovinyl)- 3-methylbenzthiazolium-chlorid
wurde abgesaugt und bei 70°C im Vakuum getrocknet.

r, 26 Teile 2,3-Dimethylbenzthiazolium-methosulfat
werden in 30 Teilen Pyridin suspendiert und bei 60 bis 70°C mit einer kalten Lösung von 22 Teilen N-Formyl-5-methoxy-2,3,3-trimethylindolin
in 50 Teilen Phosphoroxychlorid versetzt. Nach 30minütigem Nachrühren bei
so 60 bis 70°C wird die Reaktionsmischung in 1000 Teile
10%ige Kochsalzlösung gegossen. Der Farbstoff wird abgesaugt und bei 70°C im Vakuum getrocknet. Er
besitzt die Formel

und eignet sich zum Färben, Bedrucken und Massefarben von Polyacrylnitril, sauer modifizierten Polyestern
oder Polyamiden. Er liefert klare gelbe Färbungen bzw. gelb gefärbte Materialien, die ausgezeichnete
Echtheiten aufweisen.
Wurde anstelle des N-Formyl-5-methoxy-2,!, 3-trimethylindolins
die äquivalente Menge N-Formyl-1,2,3,1,
10,11-hexahydrocarbazol eingesetzt, so wurde der in
Beispiel 1, Formel 2 beschriebene Farbstoff erhalten.
Wurden statt des 2,-3-Dimethylbenzthiazoliummethosulfats
und des N-Formyl-5-methoxy-2,3,3-trimethylindolins äquivalente Mengen der in der folgenden
Tabelle angegebenen Benzthiazolium- und N-Formyl-Verbindungen eingesetzt, so wurden Farbstoffe
erhalten, die auf Fasermaterialien aus Polyacrylnitril ausgezeichnet echte Färbungen in den ebenfalls in der
Tabelle angegebenen Farbtönen liefern:

Die Mischung von 27,5 Teilen 3-Äthyl-2-methyIbenzthiazolium-äthosulfat
und 30 Teilen Tripropylamin wird mit einer Lösung von 19 Teilen N-Formyl-2,3,3-trimethylindolin
in 50 Teilen Phosphoroxychlorid versetzt. Dabei steigt die Temperatur auf 90 bis 1000C. Nach
30minütigem Nachrühren wird die Reaktionsmischung in 1000 Teile eiskalte 10%ige Kochsalzlösung gegossen.
Der Farbstoff wird abgesaugt und bei 70°C im Vakuum getrocknet. Er besitzt die Formel

und Hefen auf Polyacrylnitril- und sauer modifizierten
Polyester- oder Polyamid-Fasern klare Gelbfärbungen, die eine sehr gute Echtheit aufweisen.
6,4 Teile 3-Methyl-2-methylenbenzthiazolium-waldehyd
werden in 100 Teilen 10%iger Salzsäure 15 Minuten verrührt. Nach Zugabe von 4,5 Teilen 2-Methylindolin
wird die Reaktionsmischung 22 Stunden gerührt. Der Farbstoff wird abgesaugt, mit 100 Teilen
20%iger Kochsalzlösung gewaschen und anschließend bei 700C im Vakuum getrocknet. Er besitzt die im Beispiel
1, Formel 1 angegebene Struktur.
Polyacrylnitrilfasern werden bei 400C im Flottenverhältnis
1 :40 in ein wäßriges Bad eingebracht, das im Liter 0,75 g 30%ige Essigsäure, 0,38 g Natriumacetat
und 0,15 g des im Beispiel 2 beschriebenen Farbstoffs enthält. Man erhitzt innerhalb von 20 bis 30 Minuten
zum Sieden und hält das Bad 30 bis 60 Minuten bei dieser Temperatur. Nach dem Spülen und Trocknen erhält
man eine klare gelbe Färbung, die sich durch sehr gute Echtheitseigenschaften auszeichnet

werden bei 20° C im Flottenverhältnis 1 :40 in ein wäßriges Bad eingebracht, das im Liter 3 bis 10 g

Natriumsulfat, 0,1 bis 1 g Oleylpolyglykoläther (50 Mol Äthylenoxid je Mol Oleylalkohol), 0 bis 15 g Dimethylbenzyldodecylammoniumchlorid
und 0,15 g des in Beispiel 1 beschriebenen Farbstoffs enthält, und mit Essigsäure
auf pH 4 bis 5 eingestellt wurde. Man erhitzt das Bad innerhalb von 30 Minuten auf 100°C und hält es 60
Minuten bei dieser Temperatur. Anschließend werden die Fasern gespült und getrocknet. Man erhält eine
klare gelbe Färbung von sehr guten Echtheitseigenschäften.
In einem 500-ml-Färbebecher, der sich in einem beheizten
Wasserbad befindet, werden 0,055 g des in Bei-
M) spiel 2 beschriebenen Farbstoffs mit der 20fachen
Mengen heißen Wassers, unter Zusatz von etwas Essigsäure, angeteigt und mit heißen Wasser gelöst. Die
Färbeflotte erhält noch einen Zusatz von 0,5 g des Umsetzungsproduktes von 50 Mol Äthylenoxid mit 1 Mol
j-, Oleylalkohol und wird mit kaltem Wasser auf 500 ml
aufgefüllt. Der pH-Wert der Färbeflotte wird mit Essigsäure oder Natriumacetat auf 4,5 bis 5 eingestellt.
In diese so hergestellte Färbeflotte werden 10 g Stückware aus sauer modifiziertem Polyamid bei Raum-
4(i temperatur eingebracht. Das Färbebad wird unter stetigem
Bewegen des Färbegutes innerhalb von 15 Minuten auf 100° C erwärmt. Anschließend wird 15 bis 20
Minuten bei Kochtemperatur gefärbt. Dann wird die Stückware mit kaltem Wasser gespült und abschließend
•τ, getrocknet. Man erhält eine sehr echte gelbe Färbung.
Ein Gewebe aus Polyacrylnitril wird mit einer Druckpaste bedruckt, die in folgender Weise hergestellt
r>(i wurde: 30 Teile des in Beispiel 2 beschriebenen Farbstoffes.
50 Teile Thiodiäthylenglykol, 30 Teile Cyclohexanol und 30 Teile 30%ige Essigsäure werden mit 330
Teilen heißem Wasser übergössen und die erhaltene Lösung zu 500 Teilen Kristallgummi als Verdickungsmittel
gegeben. Schließlich werden noch 30 Teile Zinknitratlosung zugesetzt Der erhaltene Druck wird getrocknet,
30 Minuten gedämpft und anschließend gespült. Man erhält einen gelben Druck mit sehr guten
Echtheitseigenschaften.

Aus 15 Teilen des in Beispiel 2 beschriebenen Farbstoffes, 15 Teilen Polyacrylnitril und 70 Teilen
Dimethylformamid wird eine Stammlösung hergestellt, b5 die zu einer üblichen Spinnlösung von Polyacrylnitril
zugesetzt und in bekannter Weise versponnen wird. Man erhält eine gelbe Färbung mit sehr guten Echtheitseigenschaften.
