Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf disperse Monoazofarbstoffe gemäß dem vorstehenden Hauptanspruch.
Aus den DE-OS 22 01 112 und 22 01 113 sind disperse
Monoazofarbstoffe bekannt, die sich von einem 2-Amino-3-nitrothiophen, weiches in der 5-Stellung eine
Niederalkylsulfonyl-, Niederalkylcarbonyl- oder gegebenenfalls
substituierte Benzoylgruppe aufweist, als Diazokomponente und von einem in p-Stellung
kuppelnden Anilinderivat als Kupplungskomponente ableiten. Des weiteren beschreibt die US-PS 28 05 218
disperse Monoazofarbstoffe, die sich von einem 2-Amino-3-nitrothiophen, welches in der 5-Stellung eine
Acetyl-, n-Propionyl-, lsobutyryl-, n-Butyryl-, Trifluoromethyl-
oder Benzoylgruppe aufweist, als Diazokomponente und einem in p-Stellung kuppelnden Anilinderivat
als Kupplungskomponente ableiten. Die erfindungsgemäßen Farbstoffe besitzen gegenüber diesen bekannten
Farbstoffen den Vorteil, daß sie sich viel leichter in tiefe Farbtöne aufbauen lassen.
Aus der US-PS 28 27 451 sind disperse Monoazofarbstoffe
bekannt, die sich von einer 2-Amino-3,5-dialkylsulfonylthiophen-Diazokomponente
und einem in ^-Stellung kuppelnden S-Pyrezojpn ableiten Die US-PS
28 25 726 betrifft disperse MoTiP»«of«rbstpife, die sich
von einer 2-Amino-3^-difilkyisH|fonyUhipphen-Dia35okpmppnente
wd einer Dihydrojcybenzol-Kupplungs-
komponente ableiten. Gegenüber diesen Farbstoffen
besitzen die erfindungsgemäßen Farbstoffe nicht nur den Vorteil, daß sie sich leichter m tiefe Farbtöne
aufbauen lassen, sondern auch den einer wesentlich höheren Färbekraft,
to Die erfindungsgemäßen Farbstoffe können durch das
im vorstehenden Patentanspruch 2 angegebene Verfahren hergestellt werden.
Die Diazotiening und Kupplung kann durch für diese
Reaktionen üblichen Verfahren ausgeführt werden.
Beispielsweise kann das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren zweckmäßig dadurch ausgeführt werden, daß man
Natriumnitrit zu einer Lösung oder Dispersion des Amins in einer starken anorganischen Säure oder einer
wäßrigen Lösung derselben zugibt oder daß man das Amin mit Nitrosylschwefelsäure rührt und daß man die
erhaltene Lösung oder Dispersion der Diazokomponente zu einer Lösung der Kupplungskomponente in
Wasser oder in einer Mischung aus Wasser und einer mit Wasser mischbaren organischen Flüssigkeit zugibt,
wobei man nötigenfalls den pH des Gemischs zur Erleichterung der Kupplungsreaktion entsprechend
einstellt, und daß man abschließend den erhaltenen Farbstoff durch übliche Methoden isoliert.
Die für das Verfahren nötigen Amine können durch übliche Verfahren erhalten werden, die für die
Herstellung von Thiophenderivaten verwendet werden. So kann beispielsweise 2-Halogen-thiophen nitriert,
halogeniert und/oder einer Friedel-Craft-Reaktion unterworfen werden, worauf dann das Halogenatom in
der 2-Stellung durch Behandlung mit Ammoniak in eine
Aminogruppe umgewandelt wird.
Alternativ können einige der 2-Aminothiophene durch Verfahren erhalten werden, die in »Chemische
Berichte«, Band 98, Seite 3571 (1965) und Band 99, Seite 94 (1966) beschrieben sind.
Schließlich betrifft die Erfindung auch die Verwendung der erfindungsgemäßen Farbstoffe gemäß den
vorstehenden Patentansprüchen 3 und 4.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Azofarbstoffe eignen sich zum Färben von synthetischen Textilmaterialien, insbesondere
von sekundären Celluloseacetat- und Cellulosetriacetattextümaterialien,
Polyamidtextilmaterialien, wie z. B. Polyhexamethylenadipamidtextilmaterialien,
und ganz besonders aromatischen Polyestertextilmaterialien, wie z. B. Polyäthylenterephthalattextilmateriaiien.
Solche Materialien können die Form von Fäden, Fasern oder gewebten oder gestrickten Materialien
aufweisen.
Die genannten Azofarbstoffe können auf die synthetisehen Textilmaterialien gegebenenfalls mit anderen
dispersen Farbstoffen durch Verfahren aufgebracht werden, die üblicherweise zum Aufbringen von dispersen
Farbstoffen auf solche Textilmaterialien verwendet werden. So können die Farbstoffe in Form von
wäßrigen Dispersionen durch Färbe-, Klotz- oder Druckverfahren unter Verwendung der Bedingungen
und anderen Zusätze aufgebracht werden, die üblicherweise bei der Durchführung solcher Verfahren angewendet
werden. Alternativ können die genannten Farbstoffe auf synthetische Textilmaterialien durch
Lösungsmittelfärbeverfahren aufgebracht werden, beispielsweise durch Aufbringen einer Lösung oder
Dispersion des Farbstoffs in Perchloroäthylen, das
gegebenenfalls φ$ kleinere Menge Wasser enthält, auf
das TexfflihftteriaJ, wobei vorzugsweise bei erhöhter
Tempemtwr gearbeitet wird, pie genannten Farbstoffe
können auch beider SchmelzfSrbung von synthetischen
Polymeren, beispielsweise durch Späteinspritztechniken,
verwendet werden, wobei die gefärbten Polymere dann in fasern oder Fäden schmelzgesponnen werden.
Die genannten Farbstoffe können auch auf synthetische TextilmateriaJien durch einen Üpertragungsfärbedruck
aufgebracht werden.
Wenn die erfindungsgemäßen Azofarbstoffe auf synthetische Textflmaterialien aufgebracht werden,
dann ergeben sie gelbe bis grüne Färbungen, die eine vorzügliche Echtheit gegen Licht und nasse und
trockene Wärmebehandlungen besitzen, und zwar sowohl vor als auch nach der ThermoRxierung. Die
genannten Farbstoffe besitzen auf synthetischen Textilmaterialien,
insbesondere auf aromatischen Polyestertextilniaterialien,
eine hohe Färbekraft und vorzügliche Färbe-, Egalisierungs-, Temperaturbereichs- und Aufbaueigenschaften,
so daß leicht tiefe Farbtöne erhalten werden können.
Die Erfindung wird durch die folgenden Beispiele näher erläutert, worin die Teile und Prozentangaben in
Gewicht ausgedrückt sind.
0,76 Teile Natriumnitrit werden zu 5 Teilen Schwefelsäure zugegeben, und das Gemisch wird auf
700C erhitzt und dann auf 5° C abgekühlt Hierauf wird
ein Gemisch aus 1,4 Teilen Propionsäure und 8,6 Teilen Essigsäure langsam zugegeben, und die Temperatur
wird auf 15° C steigen gelassen und dann bei diesem Wert gehalten. Die Lösung wird dann auf 00C
abgekühlt, dann werden 2,16 Teile 2-Amino-3-carboäthoxy-5-nitrothiophen
und darauf 1,4 Teile Propionsäure und 8,6 Teile Essigsäure zugegeben, und das Gemisch
wird dann bei 5° C 75 Minuten gerührt Die gleichen Mengen Propion- und Essigsäure werden zugegeben,
und das Gemisch wird eine weitere Stunde bei 5° C gerührt Dann wird Harnstoff zugesetzt, um die restliche
salpetrige Säure zu zerstören, und die resultierende Lösung wird dann zu einer Lösung von 1,63 Teilen
Ν,Ν-Diäthyl-m-toluidin in 50 Teilen Wasser, das 6 Teile
2n Salzsäure enthält, und 250 Teilen Eis zugegeben. Der pH des Gemischs wird durch Zusatz von Natriumacetat
auf 4 eingestellt und der ausgefallene Farbstoff wird abfiltriert, mit Wasser gewaschen und getrocknet
Wenn er aus einer wäßrigen Dispersion auf aromatische Polyestertextilmaterialien aufgebracht
wird, dann ergibt der Farbstoff leuchtend rötlich-blaue Farbtöne mit vorzüglichen Echtheitseigenschaften.
Das im obigen Beispiel verwendete 2-Amino-3-carbäthoxy-5-nitrothiophen
wurde selbst dadurch erhalten, daß 2-Amino-3-carbäthoxythiophen (Chemische Berichte
1965, 98, Seite 3571) mit Essigsäureanhydrid auf 1000C erhitzt wurde und das erhaltene 2-Acetylarr.ino-3-carbäthoxythiophen
isoliert wurde. 213 Teile dieser Verbindung wurden in 2000 Teilen Schwefelsäure mit
C aufgelöst, und ein Gemisch aus 67 Teilen Salpetersäure (S.G. 140) und 200 Teilen Schwefelsäure
wurde langsam bei 0 bis 5°C zugegeben. Das Gemisch wurde dann auf Eis und Wasser gegossen, und die
Ausfällung wurde abfiltriert und mit Wasser gewaschen. Die Acetylgruppe wurde dann durch Erhitzen von 100
Teilen 2-Acetylamino-3-carbäthoxy-5-nitrothJophen in Teilen Äthanol, das 45 Teile Schwefelsäure enthielt,
entfernt. Das Gemisch wurde abgekühlt, und die
Ausfällung wurde abflltriert, mit Äthanol gewaschen
und getrocknet,
Anstelle der 2,16 Teile 2-Amjno-3-carboäthoxy-5-nitrothiophen,diein
Beispiel 1 verwendet wurden, werden 2,46 Teile 2-Amino-3-(0-methoxyäthoxycarbonyl)-5-nitrothiophen
verwendet, wodurch ein Farbstoff erhalten wird, der aromatische Polyestertextilmaterialien in
rötlich-blaue Farbtöne mit vorzüglichen Echtheitseigenschaften färbt
Das obige Amin wurde selbst dadurch erhalten, daß ein Gemisch aus 10 Teilen 2-Acetylamino-3-carbäthoxy-5-nitrothiophen,
50 Teilen /J-Methoxyäthanol und 1 Teil
Tetrabutyltitanat zum Sieden erhitzt wurde, 50 Teile Wasser zugegeben wurden, der ausgefallene Feststoff
isoliert wurde und das Produkt abschließend deacetyliert
wurde.
Ein Gemisch aus 3,8 Teilen einer 40°/oigen Lösung
von Nitrosylschwefelsäure in Sdwr/efelsäure, 9,6 Teilen
Essigsäure, 1,6 Teilen Propionsäuii und 6 Teilen
Schwefelsäure wird bei 0 bis 5° C gerührt, und 2,06 Teile
2-Amino-3-cyano-4-methyI-5-äthoxycarbonylfhiophen
werden allmählich zugegeben. Das Gemisch wird 1 Stunde bei 5° C gerührt Harnstoff wird zur Zerstörung
der restlichen salpetrigen Säure zugegeben, und das Gemisch wird zu einer Mischung aus 2,65 Teilen
N,N-pi-(ß-acetoxyäthyl)-m-toIuidin, 50 Teilen Wasser,
25 Teilen Eis und 6 Teilen einer 2n wäßrigen Salzsäure zugegeben. Der pH des Gemachs wird durch Zusatz
von Natriumacetat auf 4 eingestellt und das Gemisch wird 1 Stunde gerührt und der ausgefallene Farbstoff
wird abfiltriert, mit Wasser gewaschen und getrocknet Der auf diese Weise erhaltene Farbstoff färbt
aromatische Polyestertextilmaterialien in rubinrote Farbtöne mit vorzüglichen Echtheitseigenschaften.
Das 2-Amino-3-cyano-4-methyl-5-äthoxycarbonyl-
thiophen wurde selbst dadurch erhalten, daß ein Gemisch aus 13,2 Teilen Äthylacetoacetat 6,6 Teilen
Malonodinitril, 25 Teilen Methanol, 3,2 Teilen Schwefel und 7,5 Teilen Triäthylamin 8 Stunden auf 50 bis 600C
erhitzt und dann abgekühlt wurde, und hierauf der auskristallisierte Feststofff abfiltriert wurde.
1,85 Teile 2-Amino-3-methoxycarbonyl-4,5-dimethyithiophen
werden in einer Mischung aus 15 Teilen
so Wasser und 23 Teilen konzentrierter Salzsäure aufgelöst Dann werden 50 Teile Wasser und 50 Teile Eis
zugegeben, worauf sich der Zusatz von 5 Teilen 2n wäßriger Natriumnitritlösung anschließt. Das Gemisch
wird dann 15 Minuten gerührt Hierauf wird Sulfamin-
sä„,rfc zugesetzt, um den Übel schuß an salpetriger Säure
zu zerstören, und die Lösung wird dann zu einer lösung
von 3 Teilen W,N-Di-(0-acetoxyäthyl)-anilin in einer
Mischung aus 100 Teilen Wasser, 10 Teilen 2n wäßriger Salzsäure und 50 Teilen Aceton zugegeben. Der pH des
Gemischs wird durch Zusatz von Natriumacetat auf 4 eingestellt und das Gemisch wird 20 Stunden bei 5°C
gerührt. Der ausgefallene Farbstoff wird dann abfiltriert, mit Wasser gewaschen und getrocknet.
Der auf diese Weise erhaltene Farbstoff färbt aromatische Polyestertextilmaterialien in scharlachrote
Farbtöne mit vonr'lglichen Echtheitseigenschaften.
Das 2-Amino-3-methoxycarbonyl-4,5-dimethylthiophen wurde durch Erhitzen eines Gemischs aus 7,2
Teilen Methylethylketon, 11,3 Teilen Äthylcyanoacetat,
3.2 Teilen Schwefel und 7,5 Teilen Triäthylamin in Methanol und Isolierung des Produkts erhalten.
Anstelle der 2,16 Teile 2-Amino-3-carbäthoxy-5-nitrothiophen von Beispiel 1 werden äquivalente Mengen
eines jeden der folgenden Amine verwendet, wobei ähnliche Farbstoffe erhalten werden:
2-Amino-3-carbäthoxy-5-chlorothiophen
2-Amino-3-cyano-5-nitrothiophen
2-Amino-3-(N,N-diäthylcarbamoyl)-
5-nitrothiophen
2-Amino-3-carbomethoxy-4-methyl-
5-cyanothiophen
2-Amino-3-carbäthoxy-4-(2'- und/oder
4'-nitrophenyl)-5-nitrothiophen
/-Ämino-S-carbäthoxy^-methyi-
5-N-phenylcarbamoylthiophen
2-Amino-3-benzoyl-5-nitrothiophen
Das oben verwendete 2-y
mothiophen wurde selbst dadurch erhalten, daß eine Essigsäurelösung von Brom zu einer Essigsäurelösung
von 2-Amino-3-carbäthoxythiophen bei IO0C zugegeben wurde, die erhaltene Lösung in eine wäßrige Lösung
von Natriumacetat eingeschüttet wurde und das ausgefallene Produkt abfiltriert wurde. Das 2-Amino-3-carbäthoxy-5-chlorothiophen wurde in analoger Weise
hergestellt
Das 2-Amino-3-cyano-5-nitrothiophen wurde selbst durch Behandlung von 2-Amino-3-cyanothiophen (Chemische Berichte 1965,98, Seite 3571) mit einer Mischung
aus Essigsäureanhydrid und Ameisensäure, Verdünnen mit Wasser und Isolieren des 2-Formylamino-3-cyanothiophens erhalten. Ein Gemisch aus 7p Teilen
Salpetersäure (S.G. IpOpO Teilen Essigsäure und 10
Teilen Essigsäureanhydrid wurde tropfenweise zu einer Suspension von 30,4Teilen 2-Formylamino-3-cyanothiophen in 100 Teilen Essigsäure bei 35° C zugegeben. Die
resultierende Lösung wurde in Wasser gegossen, Natriumacetat wurde zugegeben, und das Gemisch
wurde gerührt, um Essigsäureanhydrid zu zerstören. Das 2-FormyIamino-3-cyano-5-nitrothiophen wurde
dann isoliert und durch Erhitzen in 8%iger Salzsäure in Äthanol hydrolysiert.
Das 2-Amino-3-{N,N-diäthylcarbamoyl)-5-nitrothiophen wurde selbst dadurch erhalten, daß Natriumcyanoacetat mit 2^-Dihydroxy-I,4-dithan in wäßrigem
Medium umgesetzt und das erhaltene 2-Amino-3-carboxythiophen durch Behandlung mit einem Gemisch aus
Ameisensäure und Essigsäureanhydrid in das FormyWerivat überführt wurde. Dieses Produkt wurde dann in
einem Schwefelsäuremedium bei —5° C nitriert, und das erhaltene 2-Formylamino-3-carboxy-5-nitrotriiophen
wurde mit Thionylchlorid im Benzolmedium umgesetzt, das Säurechlorid wurde isoliert und mit Diethylamin
umgesetzt, und die Formylgruppe wurde dann durch Hydrolyse entfernt
Das 2-Amino-3-rarbäthoxy-4-methyl-5-cyanothiophen wurde erhalten durch Acetylierung von 2-Ammo-3-carbäthoxy-4-methylthiophen, Umsetzung des Acetylderivats mit N-Methylformanilid in Gegenwart von
Phosphcrylchiorid bei 90° C Umsetzung des erhaltenen
2-Acetylamino-3-caAäthoxy-5-formylthiophens mit
Hydroxylamin in wäßrigem Medium und Behandlung
des resultierenden Oxims mit Essigsäureanhydrid. Das
2-Acetylamino-3-carbäthoxy-4-methyl-5-cyanotriiL»-
phen wurde dann durch Behandlung mit einem heißen Gemisch aus Äthanol und einer wäßrigen Natriumhydroxidlösung deacetyliert.
Das2-Amino-3-carbomethoxy-4-methyl-5-cyanothiophen wurde erhalten durch Behandlung von 2-AcetylaminoO-carbäthoxy^-methyl-S-cyanothiophen mit einem heißen Gemisch aus Methanol und einer wäßrigen
Lösung von Natriumhydroxid, wobei eine Deacetylierung und eine Umesterung stattfand.
Das 2-Amino-3-carbäthoxy-4-(2'- und/oder 4'-nitrophenyl)-5-nitrothiophen wurde erhalten durch Acetylierung von 2-Amino-3-carbäthoxy-4-phenylthiophen, Nitrierung des resultierenden Produkts in Schwefelsäure
bei -5" C und Hydrolyse des nitrierten Produkts durch
Behandlung in heißem Schwefelsäure enthaltendem Äthanol.
Das 2-Amino-3-carbäthoxy-4-methyl-5-N-phenylcarbamoyithiophen wurde erhalten durch Erhitzen
eines Gemischs aus Acetoacetanilid, Äthanol, Schwefel, Äthylcyanoaceiat und Diäthylamin bis zum Kochen.
Das 2-Amino-3-benzoyl-5-nitrothiophen wurde erhalten durch Acelyrierung von 2-Amino-3-benzoylthiophen (Chemische Berichte 1965, 98, Seite 3571),
Nitrierung im schwefelsauren Medium bei — 5°C und anschließende Deacetylierung.
Tabelle 1 gibt weitere Farbstoffbeispiele der Erfindung der Fonwel
an, wobei die Symbole in den entsprechenden Spalten der Tabelle angegebenen Werte aufweisen. Die letzte
Spalte gibt den Farbton an, der erhalten wird, wenn die Farbstoffe auf ein aromatisches Polyestertextilmaterial
aufgebracht werden.
Die Farbstoffe in dieser Tabelle wurden hergestellt
durch Diazotierung des entsprechenden Amins der Formel

wobei ähnliche Verfahren verwendet wurden, wie sie in
den vorhergehenden Beispielen beschrieben sind Die Amine der obigen Formel, die in den folgenden
Beispielen verwendet wurden, wurden ihrerseits in analoger Weise wie die anderen Thiophenverbindungen
erhalten, deren Herstellung unter den Beispielen 1 bis 5 oben beschrieben ist
