Description
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft neue N-3-Carbamoxloxyphenylthiolcarbamate sowie diese enthaltendes herbizides Mittel.
Die herbizide Wirkung von m-Thiocarbanilaten, z. B. S-Äthyl-trHmethylcarbamoyloxyHhiocarbanilat,
ist bereits bekannt, wozu auf die DE-OS IS 68 621 verwiesen wird.
Ferner sind bereits hcrbizid wirksame n-Biscarbamatc bekannt geworden, z. B. Äthyl-N-(3-(N'-stearyI-carbamoyloxy)-phcnyl)-carbamat (DE-OS 1567 151)
sowie Methyl - N - (3 - (N' - (2'JS' - dimethoxyphcnyl)-carbamoyloxy) - phenyl) - carbamat und Butin-(l)-yl-(3)-N-(3'-(N'-(3"-mcthoxyphenyl)-carbamoyloxy)-phenyl)-carbamat (GB-PS 11 97 788).
Es hat sich jedoch gezeigt, daß diese Wirkstoffe nicht immer eine ausreichende herbizide oder selektive Wirkung haben.
Es wurde nun gefunden, daß Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel
—CO—NH-R2
in der
R2 Allyl, Äthyl, Propyl, Isopropyl, Butyl, sck.-Butyl,
Penlyl, Neopentyl, Phenyl, Methylphenyl, Dimethylphenyl oder Chlorphenyl
darstellen, eine ausgezeichnete herbizide Wirkung
gegen Unkräuter bei gleichzeitiger Schonung von
Kulturgewächsen entfalten.
Die herbizide Eigenschaften der erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen sind bemerkenswert. Sie erstrecken
sich auf die Wirkung einer Vielzahl dieser Verbindungen bei Anwendung sowohl im Vorauflauf- als auch
im Nachaiiflaufverfahren und ermöglichen damit deren erfolgreichen Einsatz unabhängig vom Vegetationszeitpunkt.
ίο Von den zahlreichen Unkräutern, welche mit den
erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen bekämpft werden können, sind unter anderem zu nennen: Stellaria media,
Senecio vulgaris, Matricaria chamomilla, Lamium
amplcxicaule, Galinsoga parvifiora, Chcnopodium
album, Amaranthus rctroflexus, Setaria italica.
Die meisten der gekennzeichneten Wirkstoffe erweisen sich zudem überraschenderweise als selektiv
gegenüber einer Reihe von wirtschaftlich wichtigen Kulturpflanzen, so daß sie sich ohne Schädigung dieser
Kulturen zur Bekämpfung von unerwünschten Pflanzen verwenden lassen. So kann beispielsweise eine
Unkrautbekämpfung sogar im Nachauflaufverfahren in Mais, Reis, Weizen und anderen Getreidearten
durchgeführt werden. Die Aufwandmengen zur aus
reichenden Unkrautbekämpfung in Nutzpflanzen
kulturen betragen je nach Stärke der Verunkrautung und Artenzusammensetzung der Unkrautflora etwa
0,5 bis 5 kg Wirkstoff/ha.
weder allein oder in Mischung mit anderen Wirkstoffen angewendet werden. Gegebenenfalls können
andere Pflanzenschulz- oder Schädlingsbekämpfungsmittel, z. B. Fungizide. Ncmatizide oder andere
Mittel, je nach dem gewünschten Zweck, zugesetzt
i\ werden. Ein Zusatz von Düngemitteln ist z. B. ebenfalls
möglich.
Jc nach Verwendungszweck können auch andere Stoffe zugesetzt werden, unter denen z. B. auch nichlphytotoxtschc Zusätze zu verstehen sind, die mit
AO Herbiziden eine synergistische Wirkungssteigerung
ergeben können, wie Netzmittel, Emulgatoren, Lösungsmittel, ölige Zusätze u. a.
Zweckmäßig werden die erfindungsgemäßen Wirkstoffe oder deren Mischungen in Form von Zubcrei-
hingen, wie Pulvern, Streumittel, Granulaten, Lösungen, Emulsionen oder Suspensionen, unter Zusatz von
flüssigen und/oder festen Trägerstoffcn bzw. Verdünnungsmitteln und gegebenenfalls von Netz-, Haft-,
Emulgicr- und/oder Dispcrgicrhilfsmittcln angewandt.
so Geeignete flüssige TrägcrstoiTc sind z. B. Wasser,
aliphatische und aromatische Kohlenwasserstoffe, wie
weiterhin Mineralölfraktionen.
Tonsil, Silicagel, Talkum, Kaolin, Altaclay, Kalkstein, Kieselsäure und pflanzliche Produkte, z. B. Mehle.
An oberflächenaktiven Stoffen sind zu nennen: z. B. Calciumligninsulfonat, Polyoxyäthylcn'octylphcnoläther, Naphthalinsulfonsäuren, Phcnolsulfonsa'u-
ren, Formaldehydkondensaic, Fettalkoholsulfate und
fcttsaurc Alkali- und Erdalkaiisalzc.
Der Anteil des bzw. der Wirkstoffe in den verschiedenen Zubereitungen kann in weiten Grenzen
variieren. Beispielsweise enthalten die Mittel etwa 20
f)5 bis 80 Gewichtsprozent Wirkstoffe, etwa 80 bis 20 Gewichtsprozent flüssige oder feste TrägcrstoiTc sowie
gegebenenfalls bis zu 20 Gewichtsprozent oberflächenaktive Stoffe.
Pie Ausbringung der Mittel kann in üblicher Weise erfolgen, z, B, mit Wasser als Träger in Spritzbrühmengen
von 100 bis IQQQ LHer/ha, Für tlie totale
Unkrautbekämpfung können unter Umständen erforderliche Spritzbrühmengen von mehr als 1000 Liter
je ha appliziert werden. Eine Anwendung der Mittel im sogenannten »Ultra-low-Volume-Verfahren« ist ebenso
möglich wie ihre Applikation in Form von sogenannten Mikrogranulaten.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen können nach an sich bekannten Verfahren hergestellt werden, z. B.
aus den entsprechenden Chlorameisensäureestern und aliphatischen oder aromatischen Aminen oder den
entsprechenden Phenolen bzw. ihren Salzen und Isocyanaten oder Carbamoylchloriden, gegebenenfalls
unter Zusatz von Katalysatoren und/oder von anorganischen oder organischen tertiären Basen oder
aus den entsprechenden 3 - Nitrophenyl - N - alkyl, -Ν,Ν-dialkyI- oder -N-arylcarbamaten durch Hydrierung
der Nitrogruppc zur Aminogruppe, z. B. unter
Verwendung von katalytisch aktiviertem Wasserstoff in Methanol und anschließende Umsetzung mit Chlorthioamejsensäure-S-alkylestern,
gegebenenfalls unter Zusatz einer anorganischen oder tertiären organischen Base.
Das folgende Beispiel erläutert die Herstellung der erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen:
S-Methyl-N-(3-(N'-n-äthyIcarbamoy|oxy)-phenyD-thiocarbamat
Eine Lösung von 14,7 g (0,08 Mol) 3-Hydroxycarbanilsäure-S-methylesier
in ca. 50 ml Tetrahydrofuran wird mit 6,1 g Äthylisocyanat und 0,5 ml Triethylamin
versetzt. Nach 15 Stunden bei Raumtemperatur wird das Carbamat durch Zugabe von
Benzin (Kp.: 65 bis 800C) ausgefällt.
Ausbeute: 16,3 g = 80% der Theorie, Fp.: 153 bis 155° C.

Es sind meist kristalline Verbindungen, welche in organischen Lösungsmitteln, wie z. B. Aceton. Cyclohexanon,
Isophoron, Tetrahydrofuran, Essigcslcr, Dimethylformamid und Dimcthylsulfoxyd löslich sind.
Die Ausgangsproduktc zur Herstellung der Verbindungen sind an sich bekannt oder lassen sich nach
an sich bekannten Verfahren gewinnen.
Der als Zwischenprodukt eingesetzlc Chlorameisensiiiirc-3
- methylmcrcaptocarbonylamino - phcnylcster
(Fp.: 91 bis 93 C) kann z. B. in der üblichen Weise aus dem 3-HydroxylhiocarbaniIsäure-S-mcthylesler
und Phosgen unter Zusatz von Dimc(h>lan<lin in Essigester hergestellt werden.
Aus den folgenden Beispielen geht die herbizide
Wirkung der erfindungsgemäßen Mittel im Vergleich zu dem bekannten Mittel hervor.
Im Gewächshaus wurden die unten aufgeführten Testpflanzen im Vor- (a) oder Nachauflaufverfahren (b)
mit den erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen in einer Dosierung von 5 kg Wirkstoff/ha behandelt. Die
Verbindungen wurden als wäßrige Suspensionen mit Liter/ha gleichmäßig auf die Pflanzen gespritzt.
Das Vergleichsmittel kam als wäßrige Emulsion ebenfalls mit 600 Uter/ha zur Anwendung,
Die Befunde zeigen, daß nur mit den erfindungsgemäßen
Verbindungen eine Vernichtung bzw. starke Schädigung der Testpflanzen erreicht wurde, während
diese durch die bekannten Vergleichsmittel nicht geschädigt wurden.

Die Auswertung erfolgte 3 Wochen nach der Be- 60 oder den aufgeführten erfindungsgemäßen Verbin-

handlung, wobei 0 = nicht geschädigt und 4 = total vernichtet bedeuten.
Die unten aufgeführten Pflanzen wurden bei einer Wuchshöhe von 5 tii.i IO cm mit einem Vcrglcichsmiltcl

dungen in einer Dosierung von 1 kg/ha Wirkstoff behandelt. Die Mittel wurden als wäßrige F.mulsionen
mit 5(X' Liter Wasser je ha gleichmäßig auf die Pflanzen
gespritzt. 3 Wochen nach der Behandlung zeigten die erfindungsgemäßen Mittel eine starke herbizide
Wirkung bei guter Verträglichkeit für die Kulturpflanzen, während das Vcrgleichsmittel wirkungslos
blieb.

- Patentansprüche:1, N-3-Carbarnoyloxy phenyl-thiolcarbamate der allgemeinen FormelO—CO—NH-R,in derR, Methyl oder Äthyl undR2 Allyl, Äthyl, Propyl, Isopropyl, Butyl, sek.-Butyl, Pentyl, Neopentyl, Phenyl, Methylphenyl, Dimethylphenyl oder Chlorphenyldarstellen.
- 2. Herbizides Mittel, enthaltend mindestens eine Verbindung gemäß Anspruch 1.
