3. A herbicldal preparation as claimed in any one of claim 2 which is in the form of a powder, spraying or dusting agent, granule, solution, emulsion or suspension.
4. A preparation as claimed in any one of claims 2 or 3 which contains a single compound in a concentration of about 20 to 80% by weight.
5. A preparation as claimed in any one of claims 2-4 which contains a single surface active agent in a concentration of up to 20% by we1 ght.
6. A preparation as claimed 1n any one of claims 2-4 which contains two or more surface-active agents In total concentration of up to 20% by weight.
7. A method of protecting a living plant against weeds wherein the area In the vicinity of a living plant Is treated with a compound selected from the group defined in claim 1.
8. A method as claimed 1n claim 7 wherein the area 1s treated with a herbicldal preparation as claimed 1n any one of claims 2 to 6.
9. A method as claimed 1n claims 7 or 8 wherein a single compound selected from the group as defined 1n claim 1 1s used In an amount of about 0.5 to 5 kg per hectare.
10. A method of protecting a crop area against weeds wherein a crop area is treated with a compound selected from the group defined in claim 1.
11. A method as claimed in claim 10 wherein the area 1s treated with a herbicldal preparation as claimed 1n any one of claims 2 to 6.
12. A method as claimed 1n claim 10 wherein a single compound selected from the group as defined 1n claim 1 1s used in an amount of about 0.5 to 5 kg per hectare. For the Applicants Wolff, Bregman and By:
