Die Erfindung betrifft ferner ein Verfahren zur Herstellung der
Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel 1, dass dadurch gekenn- '
zeichnet ißt, dase man ein 1,3-Alkandiol in Gegenwart eines Halogenwasseretoffakzeptors mit PhosphoroxyChlorid oder Phosphor-' thiochlorid zur Umsetzung bringt und das erhaltene l,3-Dioxa-2-
oxo-2-chlorphosphorinan oder die analoge 2-Ihionoverbindung ent-

Beim Einsatz als SchmierstojCfzusätze können die vorgenannten Verbindungen

sind Polyisopropylenoxid, Polyisopropylenoxiddiäther und
. Polyisopropylenoxiddiestero Beispiele für verwendbare Pluorkoh- '

Beispiele für crfindun&sgemäss als Basisschmieröle geeignete
fister sind Di-(2-äthylhexyl)-sebacat, Di-(2-äthylhexyl)-phthalat,
Di-(undecyl)-azelat und Gemische dieser Ester. Ein besonders bevorzugtes Estergemisch besteht zu etwa 50 bis 80 Gew.-j4 aus
Bl8-(2,2,4-triiaethylpentyl)-azelat unu zu 20 bis 50 Gew.-'^ aus
1,1,1-Xrimethylylpropantriheptanoat« Besonders gut geeignete
Bsteröle dieser Art sind Diisooctyladipat, Diisodecyladipat und
Gemische dieser beiden Ester.
Weitere erfindungsgemäss bevorzugte Jiasisschmieröle sind Lster
von Caip-Honocarboiißäuren mit mehrwertigen Alkoholen, wie Pentaerythrit, Dipentaerytnrit oüer Triinethylolpropan, sowie gemischte
Ester unu Estergemische. Besondere Eignung besitzen Pentaerythrityl- und Dipentaeryt/iritylester von Gemischen von

Die Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel I können ausser uen vorgenannten eynthetiechen Ölen auch MineralSchmierölen als Zusätze
^einverleibt werden« Geeignete i-tineralschmieröle können aus
paraffin-, naphthen-, asphalt- oder gemischtbasischen Rohölen
und/oder entsprechenden Gemischen, wie aus Neutralölen mit Viskositäten von 100 bie 6500 SSU (37,80G), erhalten werdenο
Die erfindungsgemäösen Schmierstoffe können auBser den Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel I auch andere Zusätze enthalten.
Man kann z.U. jeden beliebigen herkömmlichen Zusatzstoff, der eine oder uehrere Funktionen ausübt, einsetzen, wie Dispergiermittel,z.B* Polyalkenylbernßteinsäureimide, Viskositätsindexverbesserer, z»Be Polymethacrylate, Oxydationsinhibitoren, ZeB0
Amine, Phosphorverbindungen oder Phenole, wie Phenyl-Ot-naphthylaiuin, Dioctyldiphenylamin, Zinkdialkyldithiophosphat oder
4,4'-Methylen-bie-C 2,6-di-tert·-butylphenol), Antischaummittel,
Korrosionsinhibitoren oder Rostschutzmittel.
£8 wurden tehrere Verbindungen der Formel I hergestellt und auf
ihre Wirksamkeit als Zusätze in Schmierölen, die die Belastbarkeit verbessern, geprüft. Zu diesem Zweck wurden die betreffenden Schmierstoffe dem Kyaer-Zahnradtest unterworfen. Dieser Teet
wurde 1941 von Pratt und Whitney zur Prüfung von Schmierstoffen

Zur Herstellung dieser Verbindung werden äquiuiolare Anteile
3-Aiuino-l,2,4-triazol und 1,3~JJioxa-!??b-dimethy l-2-oxo-2~chlorphosphorinan
bei Temperaturen von IOC bis HO0C unter Atiaosphärendruck
in Gegenwart eines tertiären Amins ale HCl-Akzeptor in Toluol unter Rückfluss gekocht*
Das bei der obigen Umsetzung als fieaktionsteilnehmur eingesetzte
Chlorphosphorinan wird hergestellt, indem man 104 β
(1,0 Mol) 2,2-l)imethyl-lt3-propandiol in 250 ml Benzol unter
Rühren langsam mit 306 g (2,0 Mol) Phosphcroxychloriu versetzt-Jss
wird dann noch 2 Stunden lang weiter gerührt, und anschliessend
wird uas Lösungsmittel entfernt, indem man das Reaktionsgemisch
über ftacht unter verwindurteu Druck stehenlässt0

Die Beständigkeit der erfindungsgemäseen Schmierstoffe wird ferner
überprüft, indem man die Schmieröle 1 und 2 dem Alcor-Hochteraperatur-Ablagerungstest
unterwirft« .Dieser Test beruht darauf, dass man Öl, in das Luft eingeleitet wurde, durch ein erhitztes
Zersetzungsrohr strömen lässto An der Einlassöffnung des
Rohres wird eine Temperatur von 274°C eingestellt, an der Auslassöffnung
werden Temperaturen von 343 bis 3710C erreicht» Zu
Beginn und kurz vor Beendigung des Tests wird das Temperaturprofil
des Eohres gemessen,, Die Temperaturprofile und die Rohrablagerungen pro Längeneinheit werden zur Bestimmung der Eigenschaften
des Öls herabgezogene Die kritische Temperatur ist ^ene
Temperatur, bei der die Ablagerungen beginnen, die V/ärmeübertragungseigenschaften
des Öls merklich zu beeinflussen,, Temperaturen oberhalb 316°G werden als sehr befriedigend angesehen« Man

Sie vorgenannten Testergebnisse zeigen, dass die Phosphorinantriazol-Derivate der allgemeinen Formel I eine aussergewöhnlich
gute Eignung als Schmierölzusätze aufweisen. Aus den in Tabelle Π angeführten Ergebnissen geht hervor, dass man die Jtselastbax«-
keit des Basisöls durch Zugabe niedriger Anteile der phosphornaliigen Triazole bei den Schmierölen 1 und 2 uu über 136 kg/cm,
beim Schmieröl 3 um 199 kg/cm erhöhen kann. Wie aus den Ergebnissen von Tabelle III bzw. IV hervorgeht, sind die vorgenannten
Phosphorinan-triazol-Derivate aueeerdeia hervorragende
Korrosione- und Oxydatlonsinhibitoreu, Man erkennt, uass die
Schmieröle 1 und 2 die sehr strengen Anforderungen der Hilitärnormvorechrift iiIIr-L-23699A bezüglich der Korrosionseigenschaften
leicht erfüllen. Das aus Tabelle V ersichtliche hervorragende Verhalten der vorgenannten Schmieröle beim AIcor~Hoehtemperatur-

Ablagerungstest beweist ihre Beständigkeit unter schwierigen
Utofcebungebedin&ungen.
Schmierstoffe, denen die Phosphorinan-triazol-Derivate der Formel 1 einverleibt werden, besitzen daner nicht nur eine hervorragende Belaßtbariveit, sondern auch ausgezeichnete Antikurrosione- und Antioxydatione-Bi^enscaaften, sowie gute Hochteuperaturbestandigkeit.
