Für die Verkleidung von Wänden und Decken werden verschiedene Arten von Platten benutzt, die nicht oder nur ungenügend schallabsorbierend sind, besonders wenn sie in großen Räumen verwendet werden.
Bei einer bekannten Platte ist eine Deckfolie aus Metall durch Schaffung von Vertiefungen in eine nicht näher bezeichnete Faserstoffmasse eingedrückt und in dieser durch Auspressungen im Metall mit oder ohne Zuhilfenahme von Leim verankert. Die an der Faserstoffmasse befestigte, metallische Deckfolie dient in erster Linie zur Erreichung guter Lichtreflexionen.
Die Erfindung betrifft eine schallabsorbierende Platte aus Holzfasermasse mit einer aufgeklebten, dünnen Deckschicht aus Papier.
Bei solchen, der Raumseite zugekehrten Platten besteht die Schwierigkeit, eine zwecks guter Schallabsorption erwünschte Holzfasermasse lockerer Struktur zu verwenden, die nicht ohne weiteres mit bleibenden Vertiefungen und der Deckschicht versehen werden kann.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, diese Schwierigkeit zu beseitigen und eine Platte zu schaffen, die trotz der Deckschicht günstige schallabsorbierende Eigenschaften aufweist.
Dieses wird in der Hauptsache dadurch erzielt, daß die Holzfasermasse elastisch ist und ein geringes Volumgewicht, vorzugsweise 0,25 bis 0,30, hat und daß die in die Holzfasermasse und in die Deckschicht eingepreßte Form der Vertiefungen durch das erhärtende Klebemittel der Deckschicht fixiert ist Im Gegensatz zur ersterwähnten Platte mit metallischer Deckfolie ergibt sich der wesentliche Vorteil der guten Schallabsorption einer elastischen Holzfasermasse geringen Volumgewichts auch bei Verwendung einer dünnen Deckschicht aus Papier, wobei die Vertiefungen durch das erhärtete Klebemittel gehalten sind.
Die Vertiefungen können trichterförmig ausgebildet sein und sich annähernd über die ganze Plattenoberfläche erstrecken. Auch kann die Platte mit ganz oder teilweise durchgehenden Löchern im Boden der Vertiefungen versehen sein.
Eine Ausführungsform einer derartigen Holzfaserplatte nach der Erfindung ist in der Zeichnung näher veranschaulicht; es zeigt

aus weißem Papier versehen, und durch die pyramidenförmigen Einpressungen sind eine Serie paralleler Rippen 3 und eine Serie mit diesen im rechten Winkel verlaufender Rippen 4 gebildet. Im Boden der Einpressungen sind durchgehende Löcher 5 vorgesehen, die gebohrt oder gestanzt sein können. Die Löcher können aber auch durch die Platte nur teilweise durchgehen. Wenn eine Schallwelle die auf diese Weise geformte Fläche trifft, wird ein Teil derselben in eine Mehrzahl von Richtungen reflektiert. Eine Konzentration der Schallwelle findet hierbei im trichterförmigen Boden statt, wo das Loch 5 mündet, und ein wesentlicher Teil der Schallwelle wird somit in das Loch eindringen, wo sie absorbiert wird.

Claims (1)

Patentansprüche:
1. Schallabsorbierende Platte aus Holzfasermasse mit einer aufgeklebten, dünnen Deckschicht aus Papier und mit eingepreßten Vertiefungen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Holzfasermasse elastisch ist und ein geringes Volumgewicht, vorzugsweise von 0,25 bis 0,30, hat und daß die in die Holzfasennasse und in die Deckschicht eingepreßte Form der Vertiefungen
