in welcher R eine Methyl-, Methoxy- oder Butinylgruppe
bedeutet, eine gute herbizide Wirkung haben. Für die herbizide Wirkung ist es dabei unerheblich,
ob der tricyclische Kohlenwasserstoffrest in der 1- (bzw. 3-) oder 2-Stellung substituiert ist. Da die
Zuordnung der verschiedenen Individuen zu den verschiedenen Formeln der Isomeren noch nicht
geklärt ist. werden die folgenden Harnstoffderivate durch ihre physikalischen Konstanten charakterisiert
und als Wirkstoffe genannt:
N-[I- oder 2-(4.5.6.7.8,9-Hexahydro-4.7-methanoindanyl)]-N'-dimethylharnstoff,

Die Harnstoffe können analog bekannten Methoden durch Umsetzung der betreffenden Isocyanate
mit den entsprechenden Aminen in inerten oder wäßrigen Lösungsmitteln oder aus den Aminen mit
den entsprechenden Carbaminsäurederiyaten gelöst in einem Kohlenwasserstoff und in Gegenwart eines
Säurebindemittels bzw. Katalysators hergestellt werden.
Die betreffenden Amine fallen als Isomerengemisch beim Umsetzen von 4,5,6,7,8,9-Hexahydro-4.7-methanoinden
mit Blausäure in Gegenwartvon Schwefelsäure und anschließender Verseifung des entstandenen
Formamids an. Die folgenden Reaktionsformeln verdeutlichen die Herstellungsmöglichkeiten:

Die Verbindungen können für sich allein oder in Mischung mit anderen herbiziden Wirkstoffen, wie
z. B. Harnstoffderivate, Triazine. Pyridazonderivate. Carbamate, Thiocarbamate. Uracilderivate oder
Borate, angewandt werden.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Mittel werden durch Mischen der Harnstoffderivate mit üblichen Trägerstoffen
hergestellt.
Die folgenden Beispiele zeigen die Anwendung der erfindungsgemäßen Mittel.
Im Gewächshaus wurde in Töpfe von 8 cm Durchmesser lehmiger Sandboden eingefüllt und die Gerste
(Hordeum vulgäre). Mais (Zea mays). Baumwolle (Gossypium sp.). Erbsen (Pisum sativum), Flughafer
(Avena fatua). Ackerfuchsschwanz (Alopecurus myosuroides), ljähriges Rispengras (Poa annua).
Senf (Sinapis alba), Vogelmiere (Stellaria media) und Wicke (Vicia sp.) eingesät. Anschließend wurde
der Boden mit je 1 kg je Hektar N-[I- oder 2-(4.5,6.7. 8.9 - Hexahydro - 4,7 - methanoindanyl)] - N' - dimethylharnstoff.
Fp. 154 bis 156°C (I). N-[2- oder 1-(4.5.6,
7,8,9 - Hexahydro - 4.7 - methanoindanyl)] - N' - dimethylharnstoff. Fp. 202 bis 2030C (II). N-[I- oder
2 - (4.5.6.7,8,9 - Hexahydro - 4,7 - methanoindanyl)]-N'-dimethylharnstoff,
Fp. 146 bis 1740C (Isomerengemisch) (III), und im Vergleich dazu N-Cyclooctyl-N'-dimethylharnstoff
(IV), dispergiert mit Natriumligninsulfonat in einer 500 l/ha entsprechenden
Wassermenge, gespritzt. Die Pflanzen entwickelten sich zunächst normal und begannen nach 8 Tagen
von den Blattspitzen her abzusterben. Nach 4 Wochen wurde folgendes Ergebnis festgestellt:

harnstoff (Isomerengemisch), Fp. 121 bis 123 C;
N-[I- oder 2-(4,5.6.7.8.9-Hexahydro-4.7-methanoindanyl)]-N'-methyl-N'-iso-
butinylharnstoff (Isomerengemisch), Fp. 140 bis 142° C.
Die Pflanzen Gerste (Hordeum vulgäre). Mais (Zea mays), Baumwolle (Gossypium sp.), Erdnüsse
(Arachis hypogaea), Ackerfuchsschwanz (Alopecurus myosuroides), ljähriges Rispengras (Poa
annua). Hühnerhirse (Panicum crus galli), Vogelmiere (Stellaria media), Wicke (Vicia sp.), Taubnessel
(Lamium amplexicaule) wurden im Gewächshaus bei einer Wuchshöhe von 5 bis 12 cm mit je
0,7 kg je Hektar N-[I- oder 2-(4,5,6.7,8,9-Hexahydro-4.7-methanoindanyl)]-N'-dimethylharnstoff.

dazu N-Cyclooctyl-N'-dimethylharnstoff (IV), dispergiert
mit Natriumligninsulfonat in einer 500 l/ha entsprechenden Wassermenge, gespritzt. Nach einigen
Tagen begannen die Pflanzen von den Blattspitzen her abzusterben, und nach 3 Wochen wurden die in
der folgenden Tabelle aufgeführten Ergebnisse festgestellt:

Eine landwirtschaftliche Fläche, welche mit Wicke (Vicia sp.), Vogelmiere (Stellaria media), Kamille
(Matricaria chamomilla), Knöterich (Polygonum '5 sp.). Raygras (Lolium perenne) und Hühnerhirse
(Panicum crus galli) besät war, wurde am Tag der Einsaat mit je 3 kg je Hektar N-[I- oder 2-(4,5,6,7,
8,9 - Hexahydro - 4,7 - methanoindanyl)] - N' -dimethylharnstoff (Isomerengemisch) (I) und im Vergleich
dazu 2 - Chlor - 4,6 - bis - (äthylamino) - s - triazin (II), dispergiert mit Natriumligninsulfonat in einer 500 l/ha
entsprechenden Wassermenge, gespritzt.
Die Unkräuter und Ungräser in einer unbehandelten Kontrollfläche liefen normal auf, und 14 Tage
nach dem Auflaufen konnte man feststellen, daß der Wirkstoff I eine stärkere herbizide Wirkung hatte als
der Wirkstoff II, denn bei I waren alle Pflanzen abgestorben, während bei II einige Unkräuter und
Ungräser, insbesondere Hühnerhirse, noch standen.
Biologisch gleich wirksam wie I sind:

Auf einer mit Vogelmiere (Stellaria media), Sauerampfer (Rumex acetosa). Wicke (Vicia sp.),
Franzosenkraut (Galinsoga parviflora), Ackersenf (Sinapis alba). Hühnerhirse (Panicum crus galli),
Aekerfuchsschwanz (Alopecurus myosuroides) und Raygras (Lolium perenne) bestandenen Fläche
(Höhe der Pflanzen 4 bis 12 cm) wurden je 3 kg je Hektar N-[I- oder 2-(4,5,6,7,8,9-Hexahydro-4,7-methanoindanyl)]

auf die Pflanzen gespritzt. Nach 8 Tagen wurde festgestellt, daß I eine stärkere herbizide Wirkung
zeigte als II. Die herbizide Wirkung ist aus folgender Tabelle zu ersehen:

N-[I- oder 2-(4,5,6,7,8,9-Hexahydro-4,7-methanoindanyl)]-N'-methyl-N'-isobutinylharnstoff
(Isomerengemisch).
Claims (1)
- Patentanspruch:Herbizid, gekennzeichnet durch einen Gehalt an einer Verbindung der Formel4045(2)in der R eine Methyl-, Methoxy- oder Butinylgruppe bedeutet.
