Claims (1)

  1. !European Patent Application 83 108 182.3 KOREA ADVANCED INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
    PATENTANSPRÜCHE
    1. Pulpeartige Poly(p-phenylenterephthalamid)-Kurzfaser einer Eigenviskosität von mindestens 5,0, bestimmt bei einer Konzentration von 0,5 Gramm Polymerisat in 100 ml konzentrierter Schwefelsäure (97% H-SO^) bei 300C, eines Durchmessers von 2-12μπ\ und einer Länge von 1000-5000 pm, einer physikalischen Form unregelmäßiger Querschnitte und mit nadelspitzenartigen Enden ähnlich denjenigen natürlicher Holzpulpefasern, mit kristallinen Eigenschaften, z. B. einer Kristallinität von über 50%, eines Orientierungswinkels von weniger als 25° und einer scheinbaren Krystallitgröße von über 50Ä, ermittelt aus einem Röntgenstrahlenabtastbeugungsbild, und einem Querschnitt mit vier Auslöschungsstellen bei einer 360°-Drehung der Faserquerschnittsprobe, jedoch ohne Malteserkreuz unter gekreuzten Polarisatoren eines Polarisationsmikroskops, hergestellt ohne Spinnen durch mechanische Parallelausrichtung der Polymerisatketten des Poly(p-phenylenterephthalamids) während des Kettenwachstums in einem dafür geeigneten Polymerisationssystem in einem Speziallösungsmittelsystem.
    2. Pulpeartige Faser nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Lösungsmittelsystem aus einem Gemisch aus 3 bis 50 Gewichtsprozent Pyridin und 97 bis 50 Gewichtsprozent eines Amidlösungsmittels besteht, und daß darin 1 bis 5 Gewichtsprozent Lithiumchlorid oder Kalziumchlorid vorhanden ist (sind).
    13. Pulpeartige Faser nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Amidlösungsmittel aus Hexamethylphosphoramid, N-Methylpyrrolidon, Ν,Ν-Dimethylacetamid oder einem sonstigen N-Alkylamid besteht.
    5 4. Pulpeartige Faser nach Ansprüchen 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die mechanische Parallelausrichtung bei eil folgt.
