Abstract

Η παρούσα εφεύρεση σχετίζεται με διεργασία για την υγροποίηση και τη σακχαροποίηση πολυσακχαριτών που περιέχουν βιομάζες, που έχουν σχετικά υψηλό περιεχόμενο ξηρής ύλης. Η παρούσα εφεύρεση συνδυάζει ενζυμική υδρόλυση με τύπο ανάμιξης που βασίζεται στην αρχή της βαρύτητας εξασφαλίζοντας ότι οι βιομάζες υποβάλλονται σε μηχανικές δυνάμεις, κατά κύριο λόγο κατάτμησης και διάτμησης. Επιπλέον, η παρούσα εφεύρεση σχετίζεται με περαιτέρω χρήση τέτοιων επεξεργασμένων βιομαζών, π.χ. για περαιτέρω ζύμωση σε βιοαιθανόλη, βιοαέριο, εξειδικευμένους υδατάνθρακες για τρόφιμα και ζωοτροφές καθώς και τροφοδοσία άνθρακα για επεξεργασία σε πλαστικά και χημικά.
