Abstract
一种充气轮胎(10)有一对卷边(15),各由多个钢丝环束(40)组成,帘布层(16)延伸于两卷边之间。帘布层的端部(30)被至少一个处于卷边外形中的环状元件(40,22或23)锚定在各卷边束(15)中。帘布层(16)可用一根连续的帘线环绕一对环状支持元件(22或23)形成的多层绕层来加强,环状支持元件处于各卷边(15)的外形中某个位置。
Description
本发明关于充气轮胎,特别有关汽车充气轮胎的径向结构。
充气轮胎通常包括用基本上平行的帘线加强的弹性材料帘布层,这些帘线从轮胎的一个卷边延伸到另一个卷边,这些帘线通常用聚酯、尼龙、芳香族聚酰胺树脂或钢丝制成。在子午胎(径向帘布层轮胎)中,帘线和胎中心面成70°至90°的偏角。帘布层的加强用帘线抵抗帘布层充气力产生的张力,所以最重要的是帘布层要牢固地锚定在轮胎卷边上。在传统的轮胎中,帘布层轴向地通过每个卷边的一边,再转回来轴向地绕过每个卷边的另一边,所以每个卷边被处于帘布层的环圈部分。在某些轮胎中,帘布层的转回来的部分能径向向外伸出卷边一段相当长的距离,例如直至轮胎侧壁的中部。
在另外一些轮胎中,如在英国专利GB256290或WO83/02749中,帘布层是用一根连续的加强用帘线在两根分开的卷边上并排绕成,所以卷边是处于帘布层的加强用帘线的环圈部分,在这部分的帘线自行转回。本发明提供一种另外的装置,其中的帘布层是锚定在轮胎卷边上。
按照本发明,在充气轮胎上有一对轴向分置的环形卷边,每一个卷边由成束的钢丝圈组成,用帘线加强的帘布层延伸于两个环形的卷边之间,其中帘布层的相应端被锚定在每个卷边束之中,至少有一圈和卷边外形相配合并把该端固定于相应的卷边中。
帘布层最好是这样被加强的,即在一对支持元件上用一根连续的帘线形成一系列的圈绕,支持元件各自为环圈状,并被置于各卷边的钢丝圈束的中间。
支持元件可以是钢丝,它们可以被插入英国专利2159185号中所说的那种帘布层材料的绕层中,每根钢丝被放在帘线绕层的一边,帘线就绕过这些钢丝,然后在帘线绕层的上下表面涂上薄层橡胶,制成橡胶化层材料而使帘线定位。
制成的各帘布层包括不同长度的橡胶化了的平行帘线织物(通常从连续地生产的织物上切下来),其绕层的的端圈固定在各钢丝上。
在制造轮胎时,上述的帘布层所用的支持钢丝被弯成圆圈并焊成一个放置在卷边钢丝束中的环,这样可以把帘线的各环圈固定在卷边束中。
此外,钢丝也能具有比帘布层长几倍的长度,因此钢丝可以绕好几圈以形成一个环,而每一帘布层的端圈可以只绕过这多个圈中的一根钢丝。
本发明将通过实例以及参照附图加以说明:

图6是和图2中帘布层一起使用的第三种帘布层和卷边钢丝组合的详细断面图。
参见图1,子午胎10是用于客车的,胎10有一个接触地面的胎面11,它的肩部12是在轴向的两侧。侧壁13从肩部弯曲向内延伸到达卷边部14,卷边部14各由环状卷边15和卷边的径向向外的顶点25所加强。
轮胎被一个环状帘布层16所加强,帘布层16从一个卷边15延伸到另一个卷边15,穿过侧壁13和经过胎面11的下面。胎面11的顶部进一步用包含一对环形带18和19的缓冲层17来加强。
在图3所示的本发明第一实例中,帘布层16A可以是传统的结构,其端部30锚定在卷边15A中。卷边15A的结构最好是用一根连续的钢丝40绕好几圈以形成一束,并具有予定的外形,在此例中大致上是正方形的,虽然也可以做成圆形的或六角形的或任何常用形状。帘布层的端部30被锚定在卷边15中,如图所示,或者锚定在卷边形状中其他的合适部位。此外,在本发明中卷边钢丝是十六圈,但这圈数可根据轮胎结构和端部而变化。
帘布层16的结构最好如图2所示那样,其中一根连续的加强用帘线21被螺旋形地绕在一对轴向分置的支持元件22和23上,支持元件最好用钢丝制成,所以这些支持元件被置于帘布层16的各个边缘20的帘线21所形成的环圈部分中。
使用如上所述的帘布层16,按照本发明的轮胎10能采用如4,图5和图6所示的卷边结构。
参见图4,卷边钢丝组合139由四层不能伸长的橡胶化了的钢丝帘线140的绕层所组成。钢丝帘线140可以被绕成一层四根平行帘线成一扁平束来绕,或者用一根连续的钢丝绕上好几圈。帘线的最外层,最好是径向最外的那层,用一根帘线绕一层,以便在轴向最外侧的垂直卷边钢丝外形上可以省略掉缺口或间隙。帘布层16的支持元件22或23被装入卷边钢丝外形的空位,使得帘布层16的各环圈端20用支持元件22或23被锚定在卷边束中。
如上所述支持元件22和23可以用许多单个完整的钢丝环组成,它们可以是不断的,或者是设计成断开的,或者两者都有,这是在卷边钢丝组合139包含多个用连续钢丝绕成的束,支持元件也可以用连续钢丝只绕一圈组成。
橡胶径向密封条146被置于卷边140上径向向外处。
图5显示另一种结构,其中的卷边钢丝组合150在它的轴向内侧有一缺口151用来接纳帘布层边缘20和支持钢丝22或23,帘布层16环绕该组合一整圈。径向密封条156被装在卷边钢丝组合151的径向外侧。
参见图6,是本发明的又一实施例,支持元件22或23在制造卷边组合时被装在卷边束160的中心。在此例中,特别画出卷边钢丝中装置支持元件22或23的位置。要说明的是在卷边钢丝外形中其他的部位也一样适用。
在上述各例中支持元件22或23的功用是在制造和最终的轮胎中把帘布层边缘20锚定在卷边钢丝组合上。图4和图5的支持元件能用任何适当的方法固定在卷边束140,150的侧面上,例如钢丝上橡胶涂层的生橡胶粘力,钎焊,用线把卷边束扎在一起。这个特性在制成轮胎中很重要,但是经过把周围的橡胶硫化,对钢丝支持元件所提供的机械夹紧要求就减少了,因为帘线和周围橡胶间的粘着力提供了牢固的锚定。在硫化以前,特别当把帘布层成形为环形面时,钢丝支持元件可靠地抵抗帘布层边缘在帘线拉力作用下的位移。在成形时提供合适的支撑如卷边夹具,也可除了整体(如焊接)的支持环以外的支持元件:如钢丝可以简单地弯成圈状,两端搭接起来而不是直接地用焊接固定在一起,或可以使用相对较弱的支持元件如塑料或织物线或细线。在这些选择中最要紧的是用硫化来把周围的橡胶使支持元件在制成的轮胎中保持为一个整体。
如上所述按照本发明制成的轮胎具有的优点是比传统轮胎使用较少的帘线材料,这是因为排除了帘布层的转回伸上。可靠地锚定的帘布层边缘加上正确定位的卷边钢丝组合也提供了更大的性能均匀性。
虽然本发明参照了图示的例子作了说明,要明白的是内行熟手能作出小的改进和改型而不超出本发明的范围和精神,例如,卷边束可以用另外的方法来做成。
Claims (8)
1、一种充气轮胎(10)有一对轴向分置的环形卷边(15,139,150,160),各含有多个钢丝环束(40,140),一个帘线加强的帘布层(16)延伸于环形卷边(15,139,150,160)之间,其特征为帘布层(16)的相应的端部(30,20)被锚定于各卷边束(15)中,即在卷边外形中的至少一个环形元件(40,140)把该端固定在它相应的卷边中。
2、如权利要求1中的充气轮胎,其特征为帘布层(16)用一根连续的帘线(21)在一对支持元件(22和23)上环圈绕成多个绕层而加强,各支持元件是呈环形,其中各支持元件(22或23)组合于钢丝环束的各卷边(139,150,160)中,因此它的位置在成束的卷边钢丝的垂直外形中。
3、如权利要求2中的充气轮胎,其特征为各支持元件(22或23)是一个完整的环。
4、如权利要求3中充气轮胎,其特征为支持元件(22或23)各由连续不断的钢丝环组成。
5、如权利要求2中的充气轮胎,其特征为各卷边(139,150,160)由多个连续钢丝束(140)组成,而该支持元件由单圈连续钢丝组成。
6、如权利要求3,4,5中任一项中的充气轮胎,其特征为支持元件(22或23)被锚定在相应卷边束的外层上。
7、如权利要求6中的充气轮胎,其特征为支持元件(22或23)被置于各卷边钢丝外形的轴向外侧。
8、如权利要求6中的充气轮胎,其特征为支持元件(22或23)被置于各卷边钢丝外形的轴向内侧。
