技术领域
本发明涉及一种赋予表面以疏油、疏水和抗污染的涂层的新型涂层组合物。本发明还涉及一种制备该新型组合物的方法以及其应用。
背景技术
在日常实践中,将表面的疏油、疏水和抗污染等特性简称为“易清洁”。
已熟知基于烷基硅烷或氟烷基硅烷的易清洁涂层(如GB 935380、US 3012006、US 3354022、JP 2001/115151、DE 834002、DE 1518551、DE 3836815、DE 4218657、DE 19544763、EP 0492417、EP 0513727、EP 0548775、EP 0657393、EP 0672779、EP 0799873、EP 0846716、EP 0133395、EP 1101787、WO 95/23830、WO 00/063312、WO 05/014731等)。
在现有的涂层体系中,在易洁特性方面基于氟有机官能硅烷或烷氧烷的涂层体系是最适用的。为产生易清洁涂层,描述了相应的纯体系、含溶剂的体系、乳剂以及水性体系。
EP 0825157A2、EP 0947478A1和WO 99/014284中的涂层体系包含来自可水解的氟烷基官能有机硅烷的水解产物和缩合物,其中强调使用硝酸作为催化剂以及按可控进行水解和缩合。因此,其它酸不太适合作为催化剂。此外,这种组合物还含有机溶剂如低级醇、醚和酮。
市场上销售的产品仅具有较短的贮存稳定性或由其所得涂层的低耐磨性。此外,许多体系经短时间后就已失去其有效性,特别是失去其疏油效果。再则还越来越需要更好的耐气候性。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供另一种适于易清洁应用的有尽可能长的贮存稳定性并同时很有效的涂层体系。本发明特别在于提供一种体系,其适于在主要是无机的光滑表面上形成耐磨和耐气候的易清洁涂层。
该目的是按本发明的权利要求所述实现的。
令人意外地发现,以简单和低成本可制备一种贮存稳定的易清洁涂层组合物,该组合物基于下列组分:
a)至少一种式(I)的可水解氟烷基硅烷
CF3(CF2)n(CH2)2Si(CH3)yX3-y    (I)
其中X表示选自氯、甲氧基、乙氧基、异丙氧基和正丙氧基的基团,n是取自3,4,5,6,7,8和9中的数,y=0或1,
b)HCl,
c)水,
d)异丙醇,和
e)至少另一种选自醇、二醇、乙二醇醚、醚、酯、酮以及脂族和芳族烃的溶剂或稀释剂,
该组合物中的硅烷组分(a)与水的摩尔比基于1∶4.5-1∶9,这种组合物可有利地很有效和经久地特别用于光滑的主要是但不仅是无机的基材表面和特别可在室外应用。
因此本发明的组分物的特征是至少一年长的优异贮存稳定性。此外,令人意外的是,含HCl作为催化剂的本发明体系在应用时的特征是优异的易清洁特性、优异的耐磨性和同时具有高的耐气候性以及耐化学试剂性。
由此本发明的目的在于提供一种涂层组合物,该组合物基于下列组分:
a)至少一种式(I)的可水解氟烷基硅烷
CF3(CF2)n(CH2)2Si(CH3)yX3-y    (I)
其中X表示选自氯、甲氧基、乙氧基、异丙氧基和正丙氧基的基团,n是取自3,4,5,6,7,8和9中的数,y=0或1,
b)HCl,
c)水,
d)异丙醇,和
e)至少另一种选自醇、二醇、乙二醇醚、醚、酯、酮以及脂族和芳族烃(十二烷除外)的溶剂或稀释剂,
该组合物中的硅烷组分(a)与水的摩尔比基于1∶4.5-1∶9,优选为1∶4.8-1∶7,特别优选1∶5-1∶6。
本发明组合物的特征优选在于下列组分:
a)20重量份的组分(a),
b)0.05-0.15重量份的HCl,优选0.07-0.12重量份,特别优选0.074-0.11重量份的HCl,
c)3.2-6.4重量份的H2O,优选3.6-6重量份,特别优选3.7-4.2重量份,尤其是3.8-4.0重量份的H2O,
d)500-1000重量份的异丙醇,优选600-900重量份的异丙醇,和
e)30-60重量份的组分(e),优选40-50重量份的组分(e)。
其中,特别优选硅烷组分(a)与水的摩尔比基于1∶5.3-1∶5.8。
有利的是,本发明的这种涂层组合物可如此制得:用异丙醇稀释硅烷组分(a),并在有HCl存在下部分即可控地水解和缩合,其中硅烷组分(a)和水的摩尔比为1∶4.5-1∶9;接着用组分(d)和(e)的混合物稀释如此所得的反应混合物。
本发明的目的特别是还提供一种制备本发明的组合物的方法,该方法中用异丙醇稀释硅烷组分(a),接着加入水和随后加入盐酸,如此所得的混合物在0-80℃,优选室温至40℃下经搅拌1-4小时,优选2-3小时,其中水解步骤基于硅烷组分(a)与水的摩尔比为1∶4.5-1∶9(部分水解和缩合简称为水解步骤),接着用由组分(d)和(e)组成的混合物稀释如此所得的反应混合物(也简称水解产物),或者,在由异丙醇、水和盐酸组成的混合物中加入硅烷组分(a),如此所得的混合物在0-80℃,优选室温至40℃下经搅拌1-4小时,优选2-3小时,其中水解步骤基于硅烷组分(a)与水的摩尔比为1∶4.5-1∶9(部分水解和缩合简称为水解步骤),接着用由组分(d)、(e)和盐酸组成的混合物稀释如此所得的反应混合物(也简称水解产物)。
在本发明方法中,所用组分的优选量为:
a)20重量份的式(I)的氟烷基硅烷,
b)0.05-0.15重量份的HCl,
c)3.2-6.4重量份的H2O,
d)500-1000重量份的异丙醇,和
e)30-60重量份的组分(e)。
特别优选的是,水解步骤中对每1重量份的组分(a)使用1-1.5重量份的组分(d)。
此外,在本发明方法中,优选是在水解步骤中使用40-100重量%的组分(b)。
此外,在本发明方法中,优选是用由组分(e)和余量的组分(d)组成的混合物或用由组分(e)、余量的组分(d)和余量的组分(b)组成的混合物稀释按本发明所得的水解产物。
因此在本发明方法中,作为组分(a)例如可使用但不是唯一使用CF3-(CF2)5-(CH2)2-Si(OCH3)3、CF3-(CF2)5-(CH2)2-Si(OC2H5)3、CF3-(CF2)5-(CH2)2-SiCl3、CF3-(CF2)5-(CH2)2-Si(CH3)Cl2、CF3-(CF2)7-(CH2)2-SiCl3、CF3-(CF2)7-(CH2)2-Si(OCH3)3、CF3-(CF2)7-(CH2)2-Si(OC2H5)3、C10F21-(CH2)2-Si(OCH3)3、C10F21-(CH2)2-Si(OC2H5)3、C10F21-(CH2)2-SiCl3或由式(I)的至少两种可水解的氟烷基硅烷组成的混合物。
作为组分(b)优选使用HCl水溶液,特别是37%的盐酸溶液。但该HCl组分也可在水解条件下通过相应按比例使用氯硅烷来产生,特别参见式(I)。但此外,也可将HCl呈气态加到体系中,例如通过相应引入到组分a)、c)、d)的混合物中。
作为组分(c)的水可已含在组分(b)中,至少按比例含于其中,但也可单独应用或附加应用完全去离子水或蒸馏水。
组分(d)即异丙醇可以市售形式应用。
作为组分(e),在本发明中优选使用选自甲醇、乙醇、正丁醇、仲丁醇、叔丁醇(TBA)、乙二醇、乙基乙二醇醚、丙基乙二醇醚、丁基乙二醇醚、二甘醇、乙基乙二醇、丙基乙二醇、丁基乙二醇、1-甲氧基-2-丙醇、2-甲氧基乙醇、甲基叔丁醚(MTBE)、乙基叔丁醚(ETBE)、甲基乙基酮、丙酮、丁酮、卤化的、特别是氯化的烃、辛烷、壬烷、癸烷、十一烷、石油、高纯汽油的化合物或由至少两种前述化合物组成的混合物。
通常按如下实施本发明方法:
通常在限定量的HCl和异丙醇存在下,可控地水解和缩合式(I)的硅烷组分,这时该硅烷组分(a)与水的摩尔比调节为1∶4.5-1∶9。通常该反应有利地在完全混合下于0-80℃,尤其在室温下进行1-4小时。接着用异丙醇和组分(e)组成的混合物稀释如此所得的水解产物,由此有利地得到贮存稳定的和很有效的涂层组合物。但为可控地稀释该反应混合物或水解产物,也可使用由相应量的异丙醇、组分(e)和HCl组成的混合物。也可使用前面所提及的物质作为各组分。
由此有利地得到本发明的至少一年贮存稳定的涂层组合物,其在光滑的主要是无机的基材表面上施涂时产生特刮耐磨和耐气候的易清洁涂层。
本发明涂层的特征还在于疏水和疏油特性,该特性在较长时间都保持有效。
特别是可将本发明的涂层体系有利地用于玻璃或珐琅上,例如挡风玻璃、玻璃淋浴隔间、墙壁瓷砖和卫生陶瓷。
适宜将本发明的涂层组合物施用于光滑的主要是无机的基材表面上,其方法如下:
·首先适当地清洁基材表面,特别是去除灰尘和油脂,需要时进行活化。为此例如可应用异丙醇、丙酮或市售的玻璃净化剂。活化例如可用磨蚀性水性介质进行,该介质优选含平均粒径(d50)小于6μm,优选0.05-5μm的氧化性颗粒。这种磨蚀性介质可呈悬浮液、分散液或膏状。相应的含水的和/或含醇的金属浆料优选含氧化铈、氧化铝、氢氧化铝、氧化镁、氧化铁、氧化钛、硅酸铝、氧化硅或所述氧化物的混合物。这种介质可有利地调节呈碱性或酸性。
·本发明的涂层组合物可有利地通过浸涂、喷涂、溅涂、抹涂、磨光或精加工涂敷到准备好的基材表面上,优选在5-30℃,特别是10-25℃于相对空气湿度为30-80%,特别是约50-60%下涂敷,和
·使其硬化和反应。
通常,相应涂敷的涂层组合物经几分钟后就已显示出效果。该涂敷步骤后,需要时可在40-250℃下热后处理约10分钟。但通常使该涂层就在环境条件下干燥。特别有利的是使其在约25℃下硬化约1天,并在这期间不将水施加到该新涂敷的面上。
由此本发明的另一目的是应用本发明的组合物赋予光滑的基本上无机的基材表面以耐磨和耐气候的易清洁涂层,仅为举例,特别提及金属表面、玻璃表面或陶瓷表面或珐琅表面如挡风玻璃、玻璃淋浴隔间、窗、门、墙壁瓷砖和其它卫生陶瓷或卫生装备,以及其它基于聚碳酸酯、聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(PMMA)、聚氨酯(PU)和聚苯乙烯的基材表面。

Claims (12)

1.一种涂层组合物,其基于下列组分:
a)至少一种式(I)的可水解的氟烷基硅烷:
          CF3(CF2)n(CH2)2Si(CH3)yX3-y    (I)
其中X表示选自氯、甲氧基、乙氧基、异丙氧基和正丙氧基的基团,n是取自3,4,5,6,7,8和9中的数,y=0或1,
b)HCl
c)水,
d)异丙醇,和
e)至少一种选自醇、二醇、乙二醇醚、醚、酯、酮以及脂族和芳族烃的溶剂或稀释剂,但十二烷除外,
该组合物中的硅烷组分(a)与水的摩尔比基于1∶4.5-1∶9。
2.权利要求1的组合物,其特征在于下列组分:
a)20重量份的组分(a),
b)0.05-0.15重量份的HCl,
c)3.2-6.4重量份的H2O,
d)500-1000重量份的异丙醇,和
e)30-60重量份的组分(e)。
3.权利要求1或2的组合物,其特征在于,硅烷组分(a)与水的摩尔比为1∶5.3-1∶5.8。
4.一种按权利要求1-3之一的涂层组合物,其是如下得到的:用异丙醇稀释硅烷组分(a),并在有HCl存在下进行部分水解和缩合,其中硅烷组分(a)和水的摩尔比为1∶4.5-1∶9;接着用组分(d)和(e)的混合物稀释如此所得的反应混合物。
5.一种用于制备权利要求1-4之一的涂层组合物的方法,其特征在于,用异丙醇稀释硅烷组分(a),接着加入水,随后加入盐酸,如此所得的混合物在0-80℃下搅拌1-4小时,其中水解步骤基于硅烷组分(a)与水的摩尔比为1∶4.5-1∶9,接着用由组分(d)和(e)组成的混合物稀释该反应混合物;或是在由异丙醇、水和盐酸组成的混合物中加入硅烷组分(a),如此所得的混合物在0-80℃下搅拌1-4小时,其中水解步骤基于硅烷组分(a)与水的摩尔比为1∶4.5-1∶9,接着用由组分(d)、(e)和盐酸组成的混合物稀释该反应混合物。
6.权利要求5的方法,其特征在于,所用组分的量为:
a)20重量份的式(I)的氟烷基硅烷,
b)0.05-0.15重量份的HCl,
c)3.2-6.4重量份的H2O,
d)500-1000重量份的异丙醇,和
e)30-60重量份的组分(e)。
7.权利要求5或6的方法,其特征在于,水解步骤中对每1重量份的组分(a)使用1-1.5重量份的组分(d)。
8.权利要求5-7之一的方法,其特征在于,水解步骤中使用40-100重量%的组分(b)。
9.权利要求5-8之一的方法,其特征在于,组分(e)选自甲醇、乙醇、正丁醇、仲丁醇、叔丁醇、乙二醇、乙基乙二醇醚、丙基乙二醇醚、丁基乙二醇醚、二甘醇、丙二醇、1-甲氧基-2-丙醇、2-甲氧基乙醇、丙酮、甲基乙基酮、丁酮、氯化烃、甲基叔丁醚、乙基叔丁醚、辛烷、壬烷、癸烷、十一烷、石油、高纯汽油或由至少两种所述物质组成的混合物。
10.权利要求5-9之一的方法,其特征在于,用由组分(e)和余量的组分(d)组成的混合物或用由组分(e)、余量的组分(d)和余量的组分(b)组成的混合物稀释水解产物。
11.权利要求1-3之一的组合物或按权利要求4-10之一可得到的或制得的组合物在赋予光滑的主要为无机的基材表面以耐磨和耐气候的易清洁涂层中的应用。
12.权利要求11的应用,其中待处理的表面的基底选自玻璃、珐琅、矿物、金属、陶瓷、聚碳酸酯、聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯、聚氨酯和聚苯乙烯。
