Description
a)式(I)
CF3(CF2)n(CH2)2Si(CH3)yX3-y (I),
[式中、
Xは塩素、メトキシ、エトキシ、イソプロポキシ及びn−プロポキシの系列からの基であり、nは3、4、5、6、7、8及び9の系列からの数であり、yは0又は1である]の少なくとも1種の加水分解可能なフルオロアルキルシラン、
b)HCl、
c)水、
d)イソプロパノール、及び
e)アルコール、グリコール、グリコールエーテル、エーテル、エステル、ケトン及び脂肪族炭化水素及び芳香族炭化水素の系列からの少なくとも1種の他の溶剤及び/又は希釈剤
をベースとし、かつシラン成分(a):水のモル比が1:4.5〜1:9である貯蔵安定性の易洗浄性コーティング組成物を、有利に、単純かつ経済的に、効果的かつ永続的に、特に、滑らかで実質的に無機の − しかしながら専ら無機のみというわけではない − 基材の表面に、及び特にアウトドアにおける適用において施与することができることが見出された。
a)式(I)
CF3(CF2)n(CH2)2Si(CH3)yX3-y (I),
[式中、
Xは塩素、メトキシ、エトキシ、イソプロポキシ及びn−プロポキシの系列からの基であり、nは3、4、5、6、7、8及び9の系列からの数であり、yは0又は1である]の少なくとも1種の加水分解可能なフルオロアルキルシラン、
b)HCl、
c)水、
d)イソプロパノール、及び
e)アルコール、グリコール、グリコールエーテル、エーテル、エステル、ケトン及び脂肪族炭化水素及び芳香族炭化水素の系列からの少なくとも1種の溶剤及び/又は希釈剤、但しドデカンを除くものとする、
をベースとし、かつシラン成分(a):水のモル比が1:4.5〜1:9、有利に1:4.8〜1:7、更に有利に1:5〜1:6であるコーティング組成物を提供する。
a)成分(a) 20質量部
b)HCl 0.05〜0.15質量部、有利に0.07〜0.12質量部、更に有利に0.074〜0.11質量部、
c)H2O 3.2〜6.4質量部、有利に3.6〜6質量部、更に有利に3.7〜4.2質量部、特に3.8〜4.0質量部、
d)イソプロパノール 500〜1000質量部、有利に600〜900質量部、及び
e)成分(e) 30〜60質量部、有利に成分(e)40〜50質量部
を含有する。
シラン成分(a)をイソプロパノールで希釈し、次いで水を添加し、次いで塩酸を添加し、このようにして得られた混合物を0〜80℃の温度で、有利に室温〜40℃の温度で1〜4時間、有利に2〜3時間撹拌し、その際、加水分解工程は、シラン成分(a):水のモル比1:4.5〜1:9に基づいており(簡略化のために、部分加水分解と縮合とを加水分解工程と呼称する)、引き続き、このようにして得られた反応混合物(簡略化のために水解物と呼称する)を成分(d)及び(e)の混合物で希釈するか、又は、
シラン成分(a)をイソプロパノール、水及び塩酸の混合物に添加し、このようにして得られた混合物を0〜80℃の温度で、有利に室温〜40℃の温度で1〜4時間、有利に2〜3時間撹拌し、その際、加水分解工程は、シラン成分(a):水のモル比1:4.5〜1:9に基づいており(簡略化のために、部分加水分解と縮合とを加水分解工程と呼称する)、引き続き、このようにして得られた反応混合物(簡略化のために水解物と呼称する)を成分(d)、(e)及び塩酸の混合物で希釈する
ことによる、本発明の組成物の製造法をも提供する。
a)式(I)のフルオロアルキルシラン 20質量部、
b)HCl 0.05〜0.15質量部、
c)H2O 3.2〜6.4質量部、
d)イソプロパノール 500〜1000質量部、及び
e)成分(e) 30〜60質量部
で使用される。
一般に、式(I)のシラン成分は、通常、定義された量のHCl及びイソプロパノールの存在で、制御された加水分解及び縮合が行われ、その際、シラン成分(a):水のモル比は1:4.5〜1:9に設定される。通常、反応は有利に、有効な混合を用いて、かつ0〜80℃の範囲内の温度で、特に室温で、1〜4時間の時間にわたって行われる。このようにして得られた水解物は、次いで、イソプロパノール及び成分(e)の混合物で希釈され、有利に、貯蔵安定性でかつ効果的なコーティング組成物がもたらされる。しかしながら、反応混合物又は水解物の制御された希釈のためには、相応する量のイソプロパノール、成分(e)及びHClの混合物を使用することも可能である。それとは別に、上記物質をそれぞれ個々の成分として使用することができる。
− 特にダスト及び油分を除去するために基材表面を適切に初期洗浄し、かつ所望の場合には活性化させる。これは、例えばイソプロパノール、アセトン又は市販のガラスクリーナーを用いて行うことができる。活性化は、例えば、有利に、6μm未満、有利に0.05〜5μmの平均粒径(d50)を有する酸化物粒子を含有する研摩剤、水性剤を用いて生じ得る。この種の研磨媒体は、懸濁液、分散液又はペーストの形であってよい。相応する水性及び/又はアルコール性金属スラリーは、有利に、酸化セリウム、酸化アルミニウム、水酸化アルミニウム、酸化マグネシウム、酸化鉄、酸化チタン、ケイ酸アルミニウム、酸化ケイ素又は上記酸化物の混合物を含有する。そのような組成物は、有利にアルカリ性又は酸性の配合物を有してよい。
Claims (12)
- コーティング組成物において、以下
a)一般式(I)
CF3(CF2)n(CH2)2Si(CH3)yX3-y (I),
[式中、
Xは塩素、メトキシ、エトキシ、イソプロポキシ及びn−プロポキシの系列からの基であり、nは3、4、5、6、7、8及び9の系列からの数であり、yは0又は1である]の少なくとも1種の加水分解可能なフルオロアルキルシラン、
b)HCl、
c)水、
d)イソプロパノール、及び
e)アルコール、グリコール、グリコールエーテル、エーテル、エステル、ケトン及び脂肪族炭化水素及び芳香族炭化水素の系列からの少なくとも1種の溶剤及び/又は希釈剤、但しドデカンを除くものとする、
の成分をベースとし、
かつシラン成分(a):水のモル比は1:4.5〜1:9であることを特徴とするコーティング組成物。 - 以下
a)成分(a) 20質量部、
b)HCl 0.05〜0.15質量部、
c)H2O 3.2〜6.4質量部、
d)イソプロパノール 500〜1000質量部、及び
e)成分(e) 30〜60質量部
を含有する、請求項1記載の組成物。 - シラン成分(a):水のモル比が1:5.3〜1:5.8である、請求項1又は2記載の組成物。
- シラン成分(a)をイソプロパノールで希釈し、HClの存在で部分加水分解し、かつ縮合させ、その際、シラン成分(a):水のモル比は1:4.5〜1:9であり、かつ、引き続き、このようにして得られた反応混合物を成分(d)及び(e)の混合物で希釈することによって得られる、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載のコーティング組成物。
- 請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載のコーティング組成物の製造法において、
シラン成分(a)をイソプロパノールで希釈し、次いで水を添加し、次いで塩酸を添加し、このようにして得られた混合物を0〜80℃の温度で1〜4時間撹拌し、その際、加水分解工程は、シラン成分(a):水のモル比1:4.5〜1:9に基づいており、引き続き、反応混合物を成分(d)及び(e)の混合物で希釈するか、又は、
シラン成分(a)をイソプロパノール、水及び塩酸の混合物に添加し、このようにして得られた混合物を0〜80℃の温度で1〜4時間撹拌し、その際、加水分解工程は、シラン成分(a):水のモル比1:4.5〜1:9に基づいており、引き続き、反応混合物を成分(d)及び(e)及び塩酸の混合物で希釈する
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 成分を以下の量
a)式(I)のフルオロアルキルシラン 20質量部、
b)HCl 0.05〜0.15質量部、
c)H2O 3.2〜6.4質量部、
d)イソプロパノール 500〜1000質量部、及び
e)成分(e) 30〜60質量部
で使用する、請求項5記載の方法。 - 加水分解工程において、成分(a)1質量部当たり1〜1.5質量部の成分(d)を使用する、請求項5又は6記載の方法。
- 加水分解工程において、成分(b)40〜100質量%を使用する、請求項5から7までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 成分(e)をメタノール、エタノール、n−ブタノール、sec−ブタノール、tert−ブタノール、エチレングリコール、エチルグリコールエーテル、プロピルグリコールエーテル、ブチルグリコールエーテル、ジエチレングリコール、プロピレングリコール、1−メトキシプロパン−2−オール、2−メトキシエタノール、アセトン、メチルエチルケトン、ブタノン、塩素化炭化水素、メチルtert−ブチルエーテル、エチルtert−ブチルエーテル、オクタン、ノナン、デカン、ウンデカン、石油、ホワイトスピリット又は上記物質の少なくとも2種の混合物の系列から選択する、請求項5から8までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 水解物を成分(e)及び成分(d)の残分の混合物で希釈するか、又は成分(e)、成分(d)の残分及び成分(b)の残分の混合物で希釈する、請求項5から9までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 滑らかで実質的に無機の基材表面に耐摩耗性及び耐候性の易洗浄性コーティングを施与するための、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の組成物、又は、請求項4から10までのいずれか1項記載の方法により得ることができるか又は得られた組成物の使用。
- 処理すべき表面の基材が、ガラス、うわぐすり、鉱物、金属、セラミック、ポリカーボネート、ポリメチルメタクリレート、ポリウレタン及びポリスチレンの系列から選択される、請求項11記載の使用。
