Abstract
本发明的层合塑料模制体包括具有树脂层A和树脂层B交替层合的三层或五层层状结构部分的层合塑料模制体,其中至少设置在层状结构部分表面侧上的树脂层A是一种聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂和选自无定形聚酯树脂、萘二甲酸乙二醇酯-对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯共聚物树脂和含有间二甲苯基团的聚酰胺树脂中的至少一种树脂的混合树脂层,以及介于树脂层A之间的树脂层B是一种阻挡树脂层,它包括选自含间二甲苯基团的聚酰胺树脂和乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物树脂的至少一种树脂。因此,所得到的多层层合塑料容器对氧气和二氧化碳气体具有很高的阻气性能以及透明度,具有优异的机械性能,和具有食品卫生性能。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及层合塑料模制体,该模制体是透明的,对氧气和二氧化碳气体具有极高的阻气性能,并具有优异的机械性能和具有食品卫生性能。
背景技术
由于塑料容器质轻、不易破裂以及生产成本低等因素,因而在市场上出现了各种诸如盛放食品、饮料、化妆品、化学品等的塑料容器。特别是,由聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂制成的塑料容器透明度非常好并且显示出与玻璃瓶同样好的外观效果,因此,它们一般用作盛放饮料的容器。
上述由聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂制成的塑料模制体在对氧气和二氧化碳气体的阻气性能方面是不够充分的。因此,通过制造聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂层与其它热塑性阻气树脂层相层合的层合塑料模制体,就可使该模制体满足其内含物所需阻气性能的要求。
可是,层合热塑性阻气树脂层会降低机械性能和透明度,因而使得要层合的阻气树脂层的薄膜厚度受到了固有的限制。因此,对于那些对阻气性能要求特别高的内含物来说,仍存在着保存期限的问题。
本发明的描述
因此,对于传统的由上述聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂层和热塑性阻气树脂层相互层合得到的层合塑料体来说,用一种含有聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂和一种特定树脂的混合树脂层来替代与聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂层对应的部分,以便在不明显降低机械性能或透明度的情况下显著地提高阻气性能。现已证实,可将所得瓶体做成层合塑料模制体,它可明显地提高对阻气性能有要求的内含物的保存期限,由此,发明人就完成了本发明。
本发明的目的是提供一种层合塑料模制体,它对氧气和二氧化碳气体具有极高的阻气性能,并且具有优异的机械性能和食品卫生性能。
为实现上述目的,本发明包括下面的构成。
即,本发明的层合塑料模制体为具有三层或五层层状结构部分的层合塑料模制体,在所述的层状结构中,树脂层A和树脂层B交替地层合在一起,其中,至少设置在层状结构部分表面侧上的树脂层A包括由聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂与选自无定形聚酯树脂、萘二甲酸乙二醇酯(ethylene naphthalate)-对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯共聚物树脂和含有间二甲苯基团的聚酰胺树脂的至少一种树脂得到的混合树脂层,介于树脂层A之间的树脂层B包括阻挡树脂层,该阻挡树脂层含有选自含间二甲苯基团的聚酰胺树脂和乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物树脂的至少一种树脂。
在具有上述构成的层合塑料模制体中,上述聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂优选含有这样一种树脂,在该树脂中,80摩尔%或更高、优选90摩尔%或更高的构成聚合物的二羧酸成分是对苯二甲酸单元,80摩尔%或更高、优选90摩尔%或更高的构成聚合物的二醇成分是乙二醇单元。
而且,除了对苯二甲酸和乙二醇外,上述无定形聚酯树脂优选为通过将至少一种下述共聚物组分进行共聚得到的无定形聚酯树脂,该共聚物组分选自间苯二甲酸,二苯醚4,4-二羧酸,萘-1,4-二甲酸,萘-2,6-二甲酸,己二酸,癸二酸,癸烷-1,10-二羧酸,六氢化对苯二甲酸,丙二醇,1,4-丁二醇,新戊二醇,二甘醇,1,4-环己烷二甲醇,2,2-双(4-羟苯基)丙烷和2,2-双(4-羟乙氧基苯基)丙烷等。
顺便说一下,可使用诸如阻气聚酯树脂,可商购的有Mitsui B-010(由Mitsui Kagaku Co.,Ltd.,生产),或聚酯型阻气树脂,可商购的有RB8550(由Toyo Boseki Co.,Ltd.生产),作为无定形聚酯树脂。
而且,上述萘二甲酸乙二醇酯-对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯共聚物树脂优选为含有5~45摩尔%的萘二甲酸乙二醇酯单元和95~55摩尔%的对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯单元的共聚物树脂。这是因为在这些范围内与聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂的相容性变得非常好,并且通过混合所述的共聚物树脂可实现树脂层A在阻气性能方面的改进。
此外,优选上述含有间二甲苯基团的聚酰胺树脂为包括这样一种聚合物的聚酰胺树脂,该聚合物含有70摩尔%或更高的仅由间苯二甲胺或由含有间苯二甲胺的混合苯二甲胺得到的酰胺单元和30摩尔%或更少的对苯二甲胺,以苯二甲胺和具有6~10个碳原子的α·ω-脂族二羧酸的总量计。
而且,在形成混合树脂层的树脂中,选自无定形树脂、萘二甲酸乙二醇酯-对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯共聚物树脂和含间二甲苯基团的聚酰胺树脂中的至少一种树脂的用量优选为5~45%重量。这是因为当其配混量小于5%重量时,由混合树脂层所带来的阻气性能的改进不是很明显。而当该用量超过45%重量时,所述混合树脂层的模压性能就会变差,于是就会造成薄膜厚度的不均匀并且模压步骤变得不稳定。从同样的观点上考虑,其配混量优选为5~20%重量。
此外,形成上述树脂层B的树脂重量优选为2~25%,以形成树脂层A和树脂层B的树脂重量计。这是因为用于形成树脂层B的含间二甲苯基团的聚酰胺树脂或乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物树脂通过由该树脂制成单一的树脂层可显示出优异的阻气性能,但树脂层的存在会降低机械性能或透明度,因此,通过减少这些树脂的用量可避免这些缺陷的发生。
另外,优选上述层合塑料模制体为一种容器,并且上述容器的至少瓶体部分和底部是由上述多层部分构成。
而且,介于树脂层A之间的树脂层B包括一阻挡树脂层,该阻挡树脂层包括选自含间二甲苯基团的聚酰胺树脂和乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物树脂的至少一种树脂。含间二甲苯基团的聚酰胺树脂是一种通用的作为阻挡树脂的树脂。该树脂的优选实例与用于构成上述树脂层A的混合树脂层的含间二甲苯基团的聚酰胺树脂相同。另一方面,乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物树脂也是通用的阻挡树脂。从模压性能和阻气性能的观点上考虑,优选使用含有50~70摩尔%乙烯醇单元的乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物树脂。
如上所述,在本发明的层合塑料模制体中,通过将树脂层A制成聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂和特定树脂的混合树脂层,其中特定树脂的模压性能与聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂相当并且具有高的阻气性能和无毒性,然后将该树脂层A与树脂层B层合,在不明显降低机械性能或透明度的情况下,当模制体为容器等时,可明显地改进不被周围环境影响的阻气性能。
本发明的层合塑料模制体可用与含有聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂层和其它热塑性阻气树脂层的层合塑料容器的传统模制体相同的成型方法来模塑,即可通过直接吹塑、型坯吹塑或双轴拉伸吹塑等来成型。由于可获得更优选的机械性能,所以优选双轴拉伸吹塑法。
附图的简要说明
图1示出了实施例1中模制的层合塑料容器轮廓形状的前视图。
实现本发明的最佳方式
下面将就作为本发明层合塑料模制体特定构成的容器的制造实例进行说明,并且还要说明所述层合塑料模制体的氧气阻挡性能。
实施例1
利用形成树脂层A的混合树脂和形成树脂层B的树脂,将具有含有树脂层A(第一层)-树脂层B(第二层)-树脂层A(第三层)-树脂层B(第四层)-树脂层A(第五层)的五层结构的底部、长度为10cm(包括瓶颈部分)并且重量为32g的型坯用注射法模制成型,其中所述形成树脂层A的混合树脂包括90重量份的聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂(RT-543SR,得自于Nippon Unipet Co.,Ltd)和10重量份无定形聚酯树脂(B-010,得自于Mitsui Kagaku Co.,Ltd.),该无定形聚酯树脂是对苯二甲酸、间苯二甲酸、乙二醇和其它二醇组分等的共聚物;所述形成树脂层B的树脂包括聚(己二酰间苯撑二甲胺)树脂(MDX-6(6007),得自于Mitsubishi Gas Kagaku Co.,Ltd.)。
顺便说一下,注射法是在树脂层A侧的树脂温度为286℃和树脂层B侧的温度为280℃下进行的。另外,所制成的第一层和第五层各自占型坯总重量的30%,而第二层和第四层各自占型坯总重量的4.15%,第三层占型坯总重量的31.7%。
然后将上述带有瓶底的型坯在模具中进行双轴拉伸吹塑成型,所得到的层合塑料容器具有图1所示的形状,它的容积为500ml,高度为20cm,在纵向方向的中心部位处,也就是在用于粘贴标签的瓶体躯干部分的中心处的直径为6.7cm。
比较例1
带有瓶底、重量为32g的型坯用聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂(RT-543SR,得自于Nippon Unipet Co.,Ltd.)通过注射法进行模塑成型,然后按与实施例1相同的方式对该型坯进行双轴拉伸吹塑成型,从而得到用于比较的塑料容器。
比较例2
带有瓶底、重量为32g的型坯用含有8摩尔%萘二甲酸乙二醇酯单元和92摩尔%对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯单元的萘二甲酸乙二醇酯-对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯共聚物树脂通过注射法进行模塑成型,然后按与实施例1相同的方式对该型坯进行双轴拉伸吹塑成型,从而得到用于比较的塑料容器。
比较例3
带有瓶底、重量为32g的型坯用含有90重量份聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂(RT-543SR,得自于Nippon Unipet Co.,Ltd.)和10重量份无定形聚酯树脂(B-010,得自于Mitsui Chemical Co.,Ltd.)的混合树脂通过注射法进行模塑成型,然后按与实施例1相同的方式对该型坯进行双轴拉伸吹塑成型,从而得到用于比较的塑料容器,其中该无定形聚酯树脂是对苯二甲酸、间苯二甲酸、乙二醇和其它二醇组分等的共聚物。
比较例4
用聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂(RT-543SR,得自于Nippon UnipetCo.,Ltd.)作为形成第一层的树脂,并用无定形聚酯树脂(B-010,得自于Mitsui Kagaku Co.,Ltd.)作为形成第二层的树脂,其中该无定形聚酯树脂是对苯二甲酸、间苯二甲酸、乙二醇和其它二醇组分等的共聚物,通过注射法对带有瓶底的、重量为32g的型坯进行模塑成型,其中所述型坯包括由形成第一层的树脂制成的最外层-由形成第二层的树脂制成的中间层-由形成第一层的树脂制成的最内层组成的三层结构。
顺便说一下,最外层和最内层分别占型坯总重量的45.85%,中间层占型坯总重量的8.3%。
然后按与实施例1相同的方式对该型坯进行双轴拉伸吹塑成型,从而得到用于比较的塑料容器。
比较例5
用聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂(RT-543SR,得自于Nippon UnipetCo.,Ltd.)作为形成第一层的树脂,并用无定形聚酯树脂(B-010,得自于Mitsui Kagaku Co.,Ltd.)作为形成第二层的树脂,其中该无定形聚酯树脂是对苯二甲酸、间苯二甲酸、乙二醇和其它二醇组分等的共聚物,通过注射法对带有瓶底的、重量为32g的型坯进行模塑成型,其中所述型坯包括由形成第一层的树脂制成的最外层(第一层)-由形成第二层的树脂制成的中间层(第二层)-由形成第一层的树脂制成的中心层(第三层)-由形成第二层的树脂制成的中间层(第四层)-由形成第一层的树脂制成的最内层(第五层)组成的五层结构。
顺便说一下,第一层和第五层分别占型坯总重量的30%,第二层和第四层分别占型坯总重量的4.15%,第三层占型坯总重量的31.7%。
然后按与实施例1相同的方式对该型坯进行双轴拉伸吹塑成型,从而得到用于比较的塑料容器。
比较例6
用聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂(RT-543SR,得自于Nippon UnipetCo.,Ltd.)作为形成第一层的树脂,并用聚己二酰间苯撑二甲胺树脂(MXD-6(6007),得自于Mitsubishi Gas Kagaku Co.,Ltd.)作为形成第二层的树脂,通过注射法对带有瓶底的、重量为32g的型坯进行模塑成型,其中所述型坯包括由形成第一层的树脂制成的最外层(第一层)-由形成第二层的树脂制成的中间层(第二层)-由形成第一层的树脂制成的中心层(第三层)-由形成第二层的树脂制成的中间层(第四层)-由形成第一层的树脂制成的最内层(第五层)组成的五层结构。
顺便说一下,第一层和第五层分别占型坯总重量的30%,第二层和第四层分别占型坯总重量的4.15%,第三层占型坯总重量的31.7%。

用聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂(RT-543SR,得自于Nippon UnipetCo.,Ltd.)作为形成第一层的树脂,并用聚己二酰间苯撑二甲胺树脂(MXD-6(6007),得自于Mitsubishi Gas Kagaku Co.,Ltd.)作为形成第二层的树脂,通过注射法对带有瓶底的、重量为32g的型坯进行模塑成型,其中所述型坯包括由形成第一层的树脂制成的最外层(第一层)-由形成第二层的树脂制成的中间层(第二层)-由形成第一层的树脂制成的中心层(第三层)-由形成第二层的树脂制成的中间层(第四层)-由形成第一层的树脂制成的最内层(第五层)组成的五层结构。
顺便说一下,第一层和第五层分别占型坯总重量的35%,第二层和第四层分别占型坯总重量的2.5%,第三层占型坯总重量的25%。
然后按与实施例1相同的方式对该型坯进行双轴拉伸吹塑成型,从而得到用于比较的塑料容器。
测试1
在上述实施例1和比较例1~7中获得的各个塑料容器的透氧量是通过使所述塑料容器的外部气氛为23℃,55%RH,并且所述塑料容器的内部气氛为23℃,100%RH来测定的。测得的结果示于表1中,并且表中还列出了透氧量的比率和保存期的比率,它们是以含有单层聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂的塑料容器为标准测得的。

工业实用性
根据本发明,通过将特定的树脂与聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂混合,从而制得混合树脂层,并将其与阻挡树脂层层合,而得到具有比预期的优异得多的阻挡性能的模制体,例如层合塑料容器,而不伴随机械性能的显著降低或透明性的降低,其中所述特定树脂的模压性能与聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂的模压性能相当,并且不会对食品的卫生性能造成任何有害影响,而且该特定树脂是一种具有良好阻气性能的热塑性树脂。
因此,本发明的层合塑料模制体对氧气和二氧化碳气体具有极高的阻气性能。因此,其适用于填充有对氧气和二氧化碳的阻挡性能要求极高的内含物的塑料容器,例如,用于具有较小容量的塑料容器,其中基于内含物重量的接触表面积与外部空气的比率变大,因此本发明的塑料模制体可显著提高其保存期限。
而且,本发明的层合塑料模制体的表面是由无毒的并具有食品卫生性能的混合树脂层制成的,因此其适用于食品和饮料。
Claims (11)
1、一种层合塑料模制体,它具有三层或五层的层状结构部分,其中树脂层A和树脂层B交替层合,其中至少设置在层状结构部分表面侧上的树脂层A是一种聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂和选自无定形聚酯树脂、萘二甲酸乙二醇酯-对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯共聚物树脂和含有间二甲苯基团的聚酰胺树脂中的至少一种树脂的混合树脂层,以及介于树脂层A之间的树脂层B是一种阻挡树脂层,它包括选自含间二甲苯基团的聚酰胺树脂和乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物树脂的至少一种树脂。
2、根据权利要求1的层合塑料模制体,其中聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯树脂是这样一种树脂,在该树脂中,80摩尔%或更高的构成聚合物的二羧酸组分是对苯二甲酸单元,80摩尔%或更高的构成聚合物的二醇组分是乙二醇单元。
3、根据权利要求2的层合塑料模制体,其中90摩尔%或更高的二羧酸组分是对苯二甲酸单元,90摩尔%或更高的二醇组分是乙二醇单元。
4、根据权利要求1~3中任一项的层合塑料模制体,其中无定形聚酯树脂是通过将至少一种下述共聚物组分进行共聚得到的无定形聚酯树脂,除了对苯二甲酸和乙二醇外,该共聚物组分选自间苯二甲酸,二苯醚4,4-二羧酸,萘-1,4-二甲酸,萘-2,6-二甲酸,己二酸,癸二酸,癸烷-1,10-二羧酸,六氢化对苯二甲酸,丙二醇,1,4-丁二醇,新戊二醇,二甘醇,1,4-环己烷二甲醇,2,2-双(4-羟苯基)丙烷和2,2-双(4-羟乙氧基苯基)丙烷。
5、根据权利要求1~4中任一项的层合塑料模制体,其中萘二甲酸乙二醇酯-对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯共聚物树脂是含有5~45摩尔%萘二甲酸乙二醇酯单元和95~55摩尔%对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯单元的共聚物树脂。
6、根据权利要求1~5中任一项的层合塑料模制体,其中含有间二甲苯基团的聚酰胺树脂是包含一种聚合物的聚酰胺树脂,该聚合物合有70摩尔%或更高的仅由间苯二甲胺或由含有间苯二甲胺的混合苯二甲胺得到的酰胺单元和30摩尔%或更低的对苯二甲胺,以苯二甲胺和具有6~10个碳原子的α·ω-脂族二羧酸的总量计。
7、根据权利要求1~6中任一项的层合塑料模制体,其中在形成混合树脂层的树脂中,选自无定形聚酯树脂、萘二甲酸乙二醇酯-对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯共聚物树脂和含间二甲苯基团的聚酰胺树脂中的至少一种树脂的用量为5~45%重量。
8、根据权利要求7的层合塑料模制体,其中该比例为5~20%重量。
9、根据权利要求1~8中任一项的层合塑料模制体,其中形成树脂层B的树脂重量为2~25%,以形成树脂层A和树脂层B的树脂重量计。
10、根据权利要求1~9中任一项的层合塑料模制体,其中层合塑料模制体是一容器。
11、根据权利要求10的层合塑料模制体,其中至少容器的主干部分和底部是由层状部分构成的。
