Description

连续制造具有承口的双壁管的方法 及实施该方法的设备
本发明涉及按照权利要求1的前序部分的方法和按照权利要求8的前序部分的设备。
EP 0 563 575 B1(相应于美国专利第5 320 797号)公开了普通类型的方法和设备。在外管和内管扩张以形成承口的过程中,通过减慢在模制路径上结合成模具的半壳的前进速度,外管和内管比在生产设有横向槽的双壁管的过程中被挤压得壁更厚。
EP 0 385 465 A2和WO 88/05377公开了类似的方法。降低输出速度,即,降低内管和外管从挤压机输出的速率并非总会产生理想的结果。由于结构调节的内模与外模的距离,模具的任何加速或减速会导致随输送方向变化的在双壁管部位上出现的壁厚的需要改变。这会干扰制造过程,也对双壁管产生负面影响,特别是在承口附近。另外,由于承口的占优势的光滑几何形状,外管的熔融物流使承口附近与设有横向槽的区域相比较壁厚增加,而内管情况恰相反,在承口附近内管被拉伸得超过双壁管的外径。在某些材料、管径和壁厚的情形中,上述因素在模制过程中会引起显著缺陷。
本发明的目的是在上述普通类型的方法中在产生承口时使内管和外管都具有理想的壁厚,以及提供实施上述方法的设备。
按照本发明,上述目的是借助在普通类型的方法中权利要求1的特征部分的特征实现的。由于至少一个熔融物流,即,单位时间的熔融物体积,以及因而使在恒定温度下单位时间熔融物的量,即,质量流动速率可以被改变,因而可以实现内管和外管壁厚的最佳化而在承口的行程上不会发生任何问题。因此,在制造承口的过程中外管的熔融物流量得到维持或减少,而内管的熔融物流量增加,以便在承口开始时有足够的壁厚用于内管的拉伸。在按照本发明的方法中,通过相应的控制可以得到相应的熔融物流量曲线而不发生任何问题。
适于实施这种方法的设备是由权利要求8的特征部分的特征限定的。
另外的有利实施例由从属权利要求阐明。

图1所示用于制造双壁管的设备包括两台挤压机1,2,它们分别由可变速的驱动电机3和3′驱动,相对于整个设备的输送方向4而言,上述电机设置在挤压机1,2的料斗5的上游。
造型机6相对于输送方向4设置在挤压机1,2的下游,后冷却器7又设置在造型机6的下游。挤压机1与造型机6和后冷却器7对准,在挤压机1上装有伸入造型机6的十字头8。与挤压机1并排设置的挤压机2借助注射通道9连接于十字头8,注射通道9侧向通入十字头8。如图1所示,双壁管10在造型机6中模制,沿输送方向从造型机6排出,在后冷却器7中冷却,在后冷却器下游被切成适当长度的段。
造型机6的结构是公知的,已投入商业应用,例如,在EP 0 563575 B1(相应于美国专利第5 320 797号)中有所描述,该文件引作参考,它基本包括一个机座11,在机座上设置的半壳12,12′结合成两个所谓的链13,13′,相对于输送方向4而言,在其上游入口端14和下游出口端15,这些链13,13′在转向滑轮(未画出)上被引导,在沿输送方向4循环时,它们按照下述方式被引导,即,一次两个半壳12,12′被结合成一个模对,在输送方向4上相互接续的模对靠紧在一起。在模制路径16上结合成模对的半壳12,12′借助驱动电机17驱动。
十字头8包括两条熔融物通道,其同心设置,有公共的纵向中心轴线18,这两条通道是内熔融物通道19和外熔融物通道20,相对于输送方向4而言,它们在下游分别终止在内模具21和外模具22中。内熔融物通道19连接于与造型机6对准的挤压机1的注射通道23,而外熔融物通道20连接于另一挤压机2的注射通道9。在内模具21和外模具22之间,一条气体管道24从十字头8伸出,气体管道24通过一个阀门可连接于压缩气源,一方面将空气排向大气,另一方面形成部分真空。
相对于输送方向4而言,在十字头8的下游端,一根校准心轴25安装在十字头8上,也沿轴线18同心延伸,它包括引导冷却剂的冷却通道26,经由冷却剂流管27供应并经由冷却剂回管28排放。另外,还设有空气管29,其连接于一个气隙30,该气隙用作附加气体管道,相对于输送方向4而言,位于十字头8和校准心轴25之间紧靠内模具21的下游。管27,28,29通过基本呈管状的供应通道31被引导,供应通道31是与轴18同心地在十字头8中形成的。
半壳12,12′具有一个接一个以一定距离设置且连接于部分真空通道33的环形模具凹部32。当半壳12,12′到达模制路径16时,如图2所示,部分真空通道33与部分真空源35,36接触,使模具凹部32被部分真空驱动。
从挤压机2通过注射通道9送至十字头8的塑料熔融物通过外熔融物通道20流至外模具22,在外模具22被挤压成外管37。由于部分真空,外管移入模具凹部32,形成设有横向槽38的管子。塑料熔融物从挤压机1通过注射通道23送至十字头8,通过内熔融物通道19流向内模具21,在内模具21作为内管39排出,到达校准心轴25,该校准心轴25沿输送方向4从内模具21稍许向外扩张,直至内管39移靠在外管37的波纹槽40上并与其焊接在一起。在冷却后和硬化时,内管39和外管37构成双壁管10。
具体如图2,3,4所示,半壳12,12′使承口41以一定间隔在连续的双壁管内形成。为此目的,在一对半壳12,12′内形成基本呈圆筒形的承口凹部42,其具有基本光滑的筒壁43。在承口凹部的筒壁43和沿输送方向4引导的模具凹部32之间形成过渡部分44。承口凹部42的筒壁43沿输送方向4的滞后端跟随着一个截圆锥形的模具部分45,在该模具部分中模制承口41的向外扩张的插入端46,其后又跟随着通向在输送方向4上滞后的下一个模具凹部32的一个过渡部分47。
对承口凹部42进行空间分配,一根棒状控制件48连接于相应的半壳12,以下面将要描述的方式操纵开关,从而改变速度,因此改变挤压机1,2的挤压速率,并且分别提供气体管道24和气隙30。为此目的,一根固定臂49安装在造型机6上,沿输送方向4在半壳12,12′上方延伸。由控制件48操纵的开关50至57安装在该固定臂49上,这些开关50至57被操纵,如图3至5所示。开关50至57沿输送方向一个在一个后面地成对设置。开关50,51用于改变挤压机2的速度,挤压机2供应塑料熔融物以形成外管37。开关52,53用于控制从气体管道24的空气流并用于经由上述空气管道24通风。开关54,55用于控制来自校准心轴25上的气隙30的空气流。开关56,57用于改变速度,从而改变挤压机1的挤压速率,挤压机1供应生产内管39的塑料熔融物。开关50至57当控制件48已达到每个开关50至57中间时被操纵。

在图3所示的瞬间,当过渡部分44移入外模具22附近时,控制件48在输送方向4上看去时到达第一个开关50,第一开关的启动降低了挤压机2驱动电机3′的速度,因而降低了挤压速率,即,单位时间塑料熔融物的质量流量。挤压机2速度的降低的效果是,抵靠在过渡部分44和承口凹部42的壁43上的外管37,其在双壁管10的单位长度上所接受的塑料要比具有模向槽38的普通波纹双壁管10形成外管37′的附近所接受的塑料少。
相应于图4所示,当过渡部分44达到内模具21时,控制件48到达开关52和54。这些开关的启动使得从气隙30逸出的空气的超压力例如增加至高于大气压大约0.2至0.45巴的压力。同时,通过启动开关54,超压力从连接于真空源或大气的气体管道24取得,因而内管39和外管37之间的空间58在承口凹部42附近被通气,以便使内管39被向外压靠在外管37上。稍后,即,当控制件48到达开关56时,也就是说,当过渡部分44已移过了内管21时,挤压机1的驱动电机3被开关56的启动而被触发,使其速度增加,即,单位时间挤压的塑料熔融物的质量流量增加。因此,内管39在形成承口41的附近在单位长度上接受的塑料熔融物要比在普通波纹双壁管10只形成光滑壁的内管39′的部位附近接受的塑料熔融物多。
当承口凹部42的过渡部分47移过了外模具22时,控制件48操纵开关51,从而使形成外管37的挤压机2的挤压速率再次增加至原来的速率。挤压机2再次供应产生横向槽38所需要的单位时间塑料熔融物量。
当过渡部分47达到内模具21时,控制件48如图5所示操作开关53,55,从而使气隙30的气体压力再次降低,气体管道24被压缩气或外管和内管之间的流动空气启动。当过渡部分47已移过了内模具21时,驱动电机3被开关57的启动而触发,挤压机1的挤压速率降至原来的速率,因而再次挤压产生光滑内管39′所需的单位时间塑料熔融物量。
这种设备与EP 0 563 575 B1(相应于美国专利第5 320 797号)所述设备的不同在于设有两个挤压机1,2,以及借助开关50,51保证触发及改变塑料熔融物的流动速率。
图6表示完成的挤制的双壁管。在后冷却器之后,借助公知的切断装置,它被由箭头示意表示的两个切片59,60切过,即,切出在承口41的插入端46和一个随后的完全形成的波纹槽40之间的管段。

Claims (14)

1.用于连续制造双壁管(10)的方法,所述双壁管具有一个承口(41)并由一光滑内管(39′)和一外管(37′)构成,所述外管与内管焊接在一起并设有横向槽(38),所述方法包括以下步骤:
—挤压一根外管(37);
—从内侧向外侧作用一个相对超压力,使外管(37)形成横向槽(38)的波纹;
—将一根内管(39)挤压入外管(37)内;
—将内管(39)压靠在外管(37)的波纹槽(40)上,在那里内管与外管(37)焊接在一起;
—以一定的间隔,通过从内侧向外侧施加相对超压力使外管(37)扩张,以便形成基本光滑壁的、大致呈圆筒形的承口(41);
其特征在于:
在产生承口(41)的过程中,用于产生外管(37)和内管(39)的单位时间塑料熔融物的至少一个质量流量独立于另一个质量流量被改变。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于:在产生承口(41)的过程中,用于产生外管(37)的质量流量被降低。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的方法,其特征在于:在产生承口(41)的过程中,用于产生内管(39)的质量流量被增加。
4.如权利要求1至3中任一项所述的方法,其特征在于:从内侧向外侧作用的相对超压力至少部分地由从外侧施加的部分真空产生。
5.如权利要求1至4中任一项所述的方法,其特征在于:在内管(39)已挤压入外管(37)之后且在内管(39)被压靠在外管(37)的波纹槽(40)上之前,在高于大气压力的压力下的气体被吹入外管(37)和内管(39)之间的区域。
6.如权利要求1至5中任一项所述的方法,其特征在于:在外管(37)和内管(39)之间的空间在外管(37)和内管(39)被扩张以形成承口(41)时被通气。
7.如权利要求1至6中任一项所述的方法,其特征在于:当形成承口(41)时,内管(39)被高于大气压力的压力下的气体从内部驱动并基本在其整个表面上压靠在外管(37)上。
8.用于实施权利要求1至7中任一项所述方法的设备,
—半壳(12,12′)设置在一个机座(11)上,以便沿输送方向(4)循环和导向,所述半壳设有环形模具凹部(32),且在一模制路径(16)上成对地组合成一个带有纵向中心轴线(18)的模具;
—至少一对半壳(12,12′)设有承口凹部(42);
—设有用于产生从内侧向外侧作用的相对超压力的装置;
—第一挤压机(1)的十字头(8)设置在模制路径(16)的上游;
—所述十字头(8)设有用于挤压外管(37)的外模具(22),以及在沿输送方向(4)的下游设有用于挤压内管(39)的内模具(21),以及在其沿输送方向(4)的下游端设有校准心轴(25);以及
——内模具(21)连接于第一挤压机(1);
其特征在于:
第二挤压在(2)连接于外模具(22);至一个挤压机(1,2)的挤压速率是可改变的;设有开关(50,51,56,57),当承口凹部(42)移在一个模具(21,22)上时借助上述开关改变至少一个挤压机(1,2)的挤压速率。
9.如权利要求8所述的设备,其特征在于:第一挤压机(1)的挤压速率可独立于第二挤压机(2)的挤压速率改变,设有开关(50,51),在承口凹部(42)移在外模具(22)上时,借助上述开关降低第二挤压机(2)的挤压速率。
10.如权利要求8或9所述的设备,其特征在于:第二挤压机(2)的挤压速率可独立于第一挤压机(1)的挤压速率改变,设有开关(56,57),在承口凹部(42)移在内模具(21)上时,借助上述开关增加第一挤压机(1)的挤压速率。
11.如权利要求8至10中任一项所述的设备,其特征在于:模具凹部(32)连接于半壳(12,12′)上形成的部分真空通道(33)。
12.如权利要求8至11中任一项所述的设备,其特征在于:至少一条气体管道(24)从十字头(8)排放在外模具(22)和内模具(21)之间,并设有开关(52,53),借助这些开关使气体管道(24)由压缩空气启动或被通气。
13.如权利要求8至12中任一项所述的设备,其特征在于:附加气体管道(30)排放在内模具(21)和校准心轴(25)之间,并且设有借助压力变化的压缩空气启动附加气体管道30的开关(54,55)。
14.如权利要求8至13中任一项所述的设备,其特征在于:开关(50至57)可根据承口凹部(42)相对于十字头(8)的位置操作。
