发明的领域

传统的卷烟作为燃烧的结果向吸烟者发出香味和香气,其间许多烟草在(吸)一口烟期间在往往超过800℃的温度下被燃烧。燃烧的热量从该烟草释放出各种气态的燃烧生成物和馏出物。随着这些气态生成物被吸过该卷烟,它们冷下来并凝结而形成烟雾,该烟雾提供与吸烟相关的味道和香气。
传统的卷烟在抽吸之间的闷烧期间产生的侧流烟。一经点燃,它们必须被完全消耗掉或被丢弃。重复点燃一支传统卷烟是可能的,但由于主观的原因(香味、口味、气味)对于一位精明的吸烟者来说是一个没有吸引力的建议。

发明概要
因此,本发明的主要目的在于,提供一种新颖的卷烟,该卷烟包含填充烟丝并且当作为一个电气吸烟系统的一部分吸食时仍能前后一致地工作。
本发明的另一个目的在于,提供一种包含填充烟丝的卷烟,该卷烟适合于与一个电气引燃器一起工作并产生令人满意的口味水平和发烟量。
本发明的又一个目的在于,建立一种用高速生产机械生产一种能用电气引燃器工作的并包含填充烟丝的卷烟的方法。
本发明的另一个目的是,提供一种适合于用电气吸烟系统的一个引燃器来消耗的卷烟和一种生产该卷烟的方法,其中该卷烟在其生产期间不承受倾向于破损或断裂该卷烟的力。
本发明的又一个目的是,提供一种新颖的与一个电气引燃器一起工作的卷烟和一种成本效益高的生产该卷烟的方法。
这些目的和其他优点由本发明提供,本发明提供一种可用一个电气操作的引燃器来工作的卷烟,该引燃器包括一组电加热器,每个电加热器适合于单个地或一齐地在它/它们激活时从该卷烟热力释放预定数量的烟草烟雾。
根据本发明的一个方面,该卷烟包括一个管状烟草网,其中该管状烟草网的第1部分被一个烟草柱,最好是以填充烟丝的形式,所填满,而该管状烟草网的第2部分留着不填满或空心,从而在该烟草柱中界定一个空隙。

最佳实施例的详细描述
参照图1和图2,本发明的一个最佳实施例提供一种吸烟系统21,该吸烟系统包括一支部分填满的带滤嘴卷烟23和一只可重复使用的引燃器25。该卷烟23和该引燃器25的细节在1995年4月20日提出的共同待决、共同受让美国序号08/425,166(PM1759)中提出,该申请作为整体通过引用而包括在本文中。
该卷烟23适合于插入该引燃器25的前端部29处的一个插孔27和从中拔出。一旦该卷烟23插入,该吸烟系统21以和一支较传统的卷烟大致相同的方式被使用,但是并不点燃或闷烧该卷烟23,该卷烟23在(吸)一口或多口烟循环之后被丢弃。最好是,每支卷烟23每次吸食提供总共8口(烟循环)或更多;然而,调整成较少或较多的可得到的总口数是设计对策问题。

如上述形成的该连续烟草条根据针对该烟草栓80的预定的栓长度被切割。此一长度最好是至少7mm,以便于机器处置。然而,该长度可以从大约7mm变到25mm或更长,视卷烟设计中的偏好而定,这将在下面具体参照图4A和4b的描述中将变得显而易见。
一般来说,该烟草栓80的长度86最好是相对于该烟草条60的总长度88这样确定,以便在该自由流过滤段74和该烟草栓80之间沿该烟草条60界定一段空隙90。该空隙90对应着该烟草条60的一个未填满部分并且经该烟草条60的该自由流过滤段74与该烟嘴62流体连通。

该吸口过滤栓104为了外观而封闭该烟嘴62的该自由端,并且想要的话,进行某些过滤,但最好是该吸口过滤栓104包括一个具有最好是大约15至25百分数效率的低效率过滤段。
该自由流过滤段102和该吸口过滤栓104最好是靠一个栓包装纸112连接起来成为一个组合栓110。该栓包装纸112最好为一种多孔的、低重量的栓包装纸,像在卷烟制造的先有技术中可常规地利用的那样。该组合栓110靠烟嘴纸64连接于该烟草条60,该烟嘴纸的规格是标准的和在卷烟业到处采用的。该烟嘴纸64可以是软木色、白色或装饰偏好可能提出的任何其他颜色。
最好是,根据该最佳实施例构成的一支卷烟23具有大约62mm的总长度,其中30mm包括该烟嘴62的该组合栓110。因此,该烟草条60为32mm长。最好是,该烟草条60的该自由流过滤段74为至少7mm长而在该自由流过滤段74与该烟草栓80之间的该空隙91最好为至少7mm长。在该最佳实施例中,该加热器触痕94为大约12mm长并且这样布置,即它提供一个3mm的加热器-空隙重叠量98,留出9mm的加热器触痕94去重叠该烟草栓80。
应该理解,该空隙91的长度和该烟草栓80的长度可以调整以便于生产,而更重要的是,以便调整该卷烟23的吸食特性,其中包括调整其口味、抽吸和发烟量。该空隙91的长度和加热器-填满部重叠量(及加热器-空隙重叠量)的大小也可以改变,以便调整响应的即时性,促使发烟量的一致性(按口与口及卷烟之间)以及控制诸加热处或附近的烟雾浓度。
在该最佳实施例中,该空隙91(该烟草条60的该未填满部分)延伸大约7mm以保证在该加热器压痕94与该自由流过滤段74之间有足够的间隙。这样一来,提供了裕量,致使在吸食期间该加热器触痕94不会加热该自由流过滤段74。其他长度是适用的,例如,如果制造公差允许,则该空隙91可以配置成短至大约4mm以下,或者在另一个极端,延伸到远超过7mm以便沿该烟草条60建立起一个加长的未填满部分对于该未填满部分(该空隙91),该最佳长度范围为从大约4mm至18mm,而更可取的是5至12mm。
该底网68实体上把诸加热元件37与该烟草香味料隔开,把诸加热器元件37所产生的热量传给该香味料70,并在对该卷烟处置、插入该引燃器25和在吸食之后拔出期间保持该烟草条的物理结合性。
参照图4,根据本发明的一个最佳实施例的生产卷烟23的一种最佳方法可以从生产一种由多个烟草栓80组成,最好是以一种4联(4合1)配置并用该栓包装纸84卷绕的栓开始。
应该指出,标成4联烟草栓80指的是一种栓结构,致使如果它被分割成4段,则将产生该最佳卷烟23的4个完整的烟草栓80。同理,一个2联烟嘴栓62如果分成2段将提供一对烟嘴62,各包括自由流过滤段102、一个吸口过滤段104和一个栓包装纸112,如结合该最佳实施例的该部分填满卷烟23所述。作为另一个例子,一个2联烟草条栓60,如果切断,则将产生两个完整的烟草条60。
回过头参照图4,该4联烟草条栓60的生产从4联烟草栓80的构成和建立12联(12合1)由流过滤段栓74的供应开始。

在大多数DAPTC组合机中,在该输送机140上在诸2联栓之间的此间隔91是用位于该压缩皮带141和该装饰机皮带142接收诸2联自由流过滤段栓74和诸2烟草栓80之处或其附近的一个排序/定距滚筒139精密地设定的。用来保证诸2联栓74和诸2联烟草栓80的正确就位的其他适用的设备,对于组合诸栓领域的普通技术人员将是显而易见的。
刚好在该装饰机皮带142的上游,一个连续的烟草网带66经总标号为146的和一系列松紧控制辊从一个卷筒144放出并在其到达该最终辊150之前掠过一个涂胶器148,该最终辊然后把该烟草网带66引向该装饰机皮带142的该路径。
同样,一个连续的外包装纸带71从一个卷筒152放出,穿过一个总标号为154的用来调整该带71上的松和/或紧的设备,掠过一组涂胶器156然后绕过一个最终辊158,该最终辊把该外包装纸带71引向该装饰机皮带142的该路径并引到该装饰机皮带142与该烟草网66之间。
然后该2联烟草栓80和2联自由流过滤段74随着该装饰机皮带142牵引该烟草网带66和该外包装纸带71穿过该装饰机160而被移入与该烟草网带66和该外包装纸带71相接触。在穿过该装饰机160期间,该连续的烟草网带66和该外包装纸71被卷绕在诸间隔分布的2联烟草栓80和诸2联自由流过滤段栓74上,以生产一个连续的条162,该连续条然后在该DAPTC机的切断头处被切断以生产栓164。该切断头166被安排成切断每另一个2联烟草栓80,以便生产各包括在一端的一个1联(1合1)烟草栓80、一个空隙91、一个2联自由流过滤段74、一个空隙91、一个2联烟草栓80、一个空隙91、一个2联自由流过滤段74、一个空隙91和在该栓164的该对置端的一个1联烟草栓80。因此,该栓164是一个4联烟草条60。该4联烟草条60经一个最好是包括HCF多头填装机的适当的输送设备168输送。
回过头参图4的该装饰机160并特别参照图5~5E,随着该烟草条60的各种构件被拉过该装饰机160,一系列卷绕步骤把该连续烟草网带66和该连续外包装纸带17卷绕在诸交替连串的2联栓80和74上。
现在参照图5A,在它们到达该装饰机皮带142处时,诸栓74和80、该烟草网66和该外包装纸71被该压缩皮带141推动彼此靠紧并靠紧该装饰机皮带142。一个连续的粘合剂珠172随着被该涂胶器148涂布而被布置在该连续的烟草网带66的该中心区或其附近。此粘合剂珠172把诸2联烟草栓80和2联自由流过滤段栓74固定于该烟草网66。
同样,该组涂胶器156把连续的粘合剂珠174、176和178涂布在该连续外包装纸带71的侧面180上,该侧面在装饰机160处进入与该连续烟草网带66相接触。可取的做法是在进入该装饰机160之前不让这些“层压”粘合剂珠174、176和178凝固,以便该烟草网66和该外包装纸71随着它们在该装饰机160中被卷绕在诸2联栓80和74上可以彼此稍有相对滑动。这一措施提供了至少某些“适应性”,以避免材料中的断裂和撕裂。
现在参照图5B和5C,该装饰机160渐进地把该连续烟草网带66,连同该连续外包装纸带71,卷绕在诸2联栓74和80上。应该注意到,该烟草网66和该外包装纸71的相对布置彼此稍微错开,以便沿着栓74和80的一侧该外包装纸71的一个边缘部分182仅伸出得稍微超过该烟草网66的邻接边缘,最好超过大约1毫米左右,而沿着诸栓74和81的对置侧,该外包装纸71的一个边缘部分184伸出得至少超过该烟草网66的邻接边缘几毫米。这样措施允许在该边缘部184和图5E中所示被完全向下卷绕并裹在诸栓74和85上以形成一个接缝189之前,如图5D中所示用一个涂胶器186沿该边缘部184涂布粘合剂珠。
应该注意到,该烟草网66被这样卷绕而其宽度被这样选择,即它在其接缝188处不重叠在它本身之上。最好是,没有粘合剂被涂布在该烟草网66的该接缝188处或其附近,以便把粘合剂对该烟草条结构66的该结构的涂布减至最少。
还发现把该层压粘合剂珠174、176和178布置在相对于诸2联栓74和80在该装饰机160处的横截面的4点钟、6点钟和8点钟的位置是有效的。
用于所有粘合剂珠174、176、178、172和190的最佳粘合剂是一种液体淀粉粘合剂,例如是可从National Starch获得的。该粘合剂珠190足够宽以便把该烟草网66固定于其完全卷绕状态。
如上所述,该Molins DAPTC组合机的输出产物是一种4联烟草条栓164,该4联烟草条栓164经一个多头填装机168被提供给一台卷烟接嘴机200的第1料斗170,例如经过改装以便以参照图7A和7B所描述的方式工作的一台Hauni Max。该经过改装的Hauni Max的略图示于图6。当然,可以配置其他接嘴机之类来执行下文描述的卷烟生产步骤。
现在参照图6和图7A~7B,该接嘴机200的第2料斗接收4联烟嘴栓62,该4联烟嘴栓62是一个组合工序194的产物,在该工序中来自一台管状过滤条制造机196的2联自由流过滤段栓102与来自另一台过滤条制造机198,例如一台KDF-2,的2联吸口过滤栓104被组合,连同栓包装纸112,以便生产上述4联烟嘴62(一种栓它在切成4段时提供4个烟嘴62,各包括一个自由流过滤段102、一个吸口过滤段104和栓包装纸112)。诸4联烟嘴栓62被适用的最好是包括一个多头填装机210蝗输送设备输送到该接嘴机200的该料斗192。
现在将参照图7A~7B中所示的诸卷烟部件的相对运动和位置,交叉参照如图6中所示的沿着该机200的机械路径的各自滚筒位置,描述生产卷烟27的该最佳方法中的其他步骤。图7A~7B包括一些虚线,这些虚线带有与该机器200中有相同标号的滚筒相关的标号。

每对中的诸单个烟草条60然后在分隔滚筒232上以成对关系彼此分开。第1和第2输送滚筒234和236然后把分开的成对烟草条段60输送到喂料滚筒238。
同时,回头看第2料斗192,4联烟嘴栓62被输送到第3切割滚筒242并被切成两个2联烟嘴栓240和240′。每个2联1烟嘴栓240包括一个在一端的1联自由流过滤段102、一个布置在中间的2联吸口过滤段104和另一个在该2联烟嘴栓240的另一端的1联自由流过滤段102。
两个2联烟嘴栓240和240′然后在第2分选滚筒244处被分选并在第2对齐滚筒246处被对齐。对齐的2联烟嘴栓240和240′然后经一个加速滚筒248被输送到该喂料滚筒238的中部,以致把2联烟嘴栓240和240′的居中布置在诸对分开的烟草栓60之间。在此工序结束时,在该输送滚筒238的每个出料槽上,一个2联烟嘴栓的该自由流过滤段102的诸自由端对着分开的一对烟草条60的诸自由流过滤段74。

应该指出,本发明可以用其他的具体形式和过程来实施而不脱离本发明的精神或基本特征。例如,切断和分切工序可以重新安排,以便切成不同多数的栓。虽然该公开指定一些机器作为优选的,但是本专业的一位普通技术人员一旦熟悉了这些传授将能选择其他机器来执行所公开的过程。此外,某些栓结构可以改动,例如用可能带有填满的中心部者取代管状栓。本发明的范围由所附权利要求书而不是由以上描述来指明,落在该权利要求书的含意和范围内的所有改动和变化均被认定为包含在其中。
Claims (12)
1.一种生产卷烟的方法,该卷烟带有一个烟草条部和一个过滤烟嘴部,所述烟草条部包括在一端的一个烟草栓和在对置端的一个管状元件以及在所述烟草栓与管状元件之间的一个空隙,所述方法包括步骤:
通过把2联烟草栓和2联空心栓以彼此交替的关系隔开放置并把一个烟草网和一个外包装卷绕在所述隔开放置的诸栓上,形成一个连续的烟草条;
在一连串烟草栓的所选择的一些的中点切断所述连续条,以便形成一组2联烟草条部;
通过切断所述2联烟草条部的至少一个,建立一对配套的单个烟草条部;
分开所述一对配套的单个烟草条部,以便在所述分开的单个烟草条部之间界定一段轴向布置的空间;
建立2联过滤烟嘴栓;
通过把所述建立的2联过滤烟嘴栓居中放置在所述分开的、一对配套的单个烟草条部之间,通过把所述诸单个烟草条部和所述居中放置的2联过滤烟栓挪入靠紧关系以及通过后续地把一个烟嘴纸卷绕在所述2联过滤烟嘴栓上和所述靠紧的一对单个烟草条部的邻接部上,建立2联卷烟条;以及
把该2联卷烟条切断成单个卷烟。
2.如权利要求1中所述的该生产卷烟的方法,其中所述卷绕烟草网和外包装纸的步骤包括步骤:引导一个烟草网带和一个外包装纸带连同一连串交替隔开布置的烟草栓和空心栓穿过一个装饰机,以便该烟草网直接卷绕在诸烟草栓和空心栓上而该外包装纸卷绕在该烟草网上。
3.如权利要求2中所述的该方法,其中一个固定粘合剂珠沿该烟草网接触所述诸烟草栓和空心栓的一侧涂布。
4.如权利要求3中所述的该方法,其中所述卷绕步骤包括在该卷绕步骤完成时向该外包装纸接触该烟草网的一侧涂布一组层压粘合剂珠。
5.如权利要求4中所述的该方法,其中所述粘合剂涂布步骤在时间上接近于该卷绕步骤的完成,以便在所述卷绕步骤期间允许所述烟草网与所述外包装纸之间相对运动。

10.一种卷烟,该卷烟包括一个烟草条部和一个过滤烟嘴部,所述烟草条部和过滤烟嘴部被一个烟嘴纸连接,从而界定所述烟草条部的一个烟嘴端;

把一个2联过滤烟嘴栓置入所述一对分开的单个烟草条栓之间的所述空间;
把所述2联过滤烟嘴栓和所述诸单个烟草条栓挪到一起成靠紧关系;
后续地把烟嘴纸卷绕在所述置入的2联过滤烟嘴栓上和所述靠紧的诸单个烟草条栓的诸邻接部上,以形成一个2联卷烟;以及
把该2联卷烟切断成单个卷烟。
