Abstract
本发明涉及通过链烷酸或酯,尤其是丙酸甲酯与甲醛的催化反应生产烯属不饱和酸或酯的方法和所用催化剂,催化剂包括含1-10%(重)碱金属,尤其是铯(以金属表示)的多孔型高表面积氧化硅,且所述氧化硅孔隙中分散有至少一种选自硼、镁、铝、锆和铪改性剂元素的化合物,其含量应使催化剂中主要改性剂元素总量达到每100摩尔氧化硅含0.25到2g。
Description
本发明涉及烯属不饱和酸或其酯,特别是甲基丙烯酸或甲基丙烯酸烷基酯的生产方法,且具体涉及所使用的新型催化剂。这类酸或酯可通过式R’-CH2-COOR的链烷酸(或酯)与甲醛反应制得,式中R和R’各自独立为氢或烷基,尤其是含例如1-4个碳原子的低级烷基。例如甲基丙烯酸或其烷基酯,尤其是甲基丙烯酸甲酯可按照如下反应顺序,通过将丙酸或相应的烷基酯如丙酸甲酯与甲醛进行反应制得:
反应一般在升温条件下,通常在250-400℃的范围内使用碱性催化剂进行。当所希望的产物是酯时,优选反应在相关醇存在下进行,以使因酯水解而形成的相应酸量最少化。另外,为方便起见,通常最好甲醛是以福尔马林形式引入。因此,对于甲基丙烯酸甲酯的生产来说,提供给催化剂的反应混合物一般是由丙酸甲酯、甲醇、甲醛和水组成。
已用的适宜催化剂包括掺杂碱金属,尤其是掺杂铯的氧化硅催化剂。现已发现某些掺杂铯的氧化硅催化剂,即基于硅胶的催化剂由于它们在较短时间内就会失去活性和选择性,因而使用寿命不够满意。这种失活现象的发生可归结于两个因素。
第一个因素是所用的碱金属化合物在所采用的反应条件下呈现较大的挥发性,因而可能会由于碱金属的损失而失去活性。按照US 4 990662的描述,可通过在生产过程的气流中引入适当的碱金属化合物,使碱金属化合物在操作过程中沉积于催化剂上,补偿因挥发而造成的任何碱金属化合物损失的方法来解决这一问题。
第二个因素可按照US 4 942 258的推断,认为对于要活化的碱金属来说,载体应具有一定小的表面积。必要的表面积取决于催化剂中的碱金属量,这样就可推断出每单位碱金属所需的最小表面积。在操作过程中,氧化硅载体往往会损失一些表面积。例如在反应条件下,氧化硅会有水解的危险,不仅包括反应生成的水而且还包括来自于反应混合物中存在的水例如以福尔马林形式引入甲醛所带来的水。我们已发现硅胶催化剂操作性能的逐渐损失很大程度上是因这种水解使催化剂表面积逐渐减少而造成的。
催化剂一般含1-10%(重)碱金属。优选至少使用2%碱金属,这样就能使操作温度低至足以使碱金属因挥发而造成的损失最小化。低温操作的另一好处是能使有可能堵塞氧化硅孔隙并造成活性下降的焦碳沉积速度降低。
我们已发现催化剂中除碱金属外,再引入某些改性剂,如硼、铝、镁、锆或铪元素的化合物能减缓表面积减少的速度。本发明的催化剂中,很重要的一点是改性剂直接均匀分散于氧化硅中,而不是以颗粒形式简单与氧化硅颗粒混合。无论以何种形式加入的这些金属化合物可能在催化剂干燥、焙烧或使用之前或期间转化为氧化物或(特别是在氧化硅表面)氢氧化物,并且以该形式在表面或氧化硅结构体内相互作用。还有一个重要之处是改性剂的量要在一定的限度内:若改性剂太少,则没有什么明显改进,若改性剂用量过大,则对催化剂的选择性有负面影响。所需的改性剂量一般在每100摩尔氧化硅用0.25到2克原子改性剂元素的范围。
上述US 4 990 662指出氧化硅可含诸如铝、锆、钛和铁化合物的物质作为痕量杂质。但该参考文献未指出若将这类杂质用酸萃取出来使痕量杂质含量低于100ppm能获得改进的催化剂。
EP 0 265 964提及氧化硅负载的含锑及碱金属催化剂的应用。说明书指出氧化铝含量最好低于500ppm。其中一个不含锑的比较实施例提及一种含950ppm氧化铝组合物的应用,这相当于0.11克原子铝/100摩尔氧化硅。
US 3 933 888提及使用一种由煅制二氧化硅与碱如铯化合物焙烧而成的催化剂,通过上述反应生产甲基丙烯酸甲酯的方法,并指出煅制二氧化硅可与1-10%(重)煅制氧化锆混合。该参考文献还提及由含有作为碱金属的铯和少量硼砂的组合物组成的催化剂的应用。但是硼的量太少,仅为0.04g/100摩尔氧化硅,没有任何明显的稳定作用。DE 2 349 054C声称与US 3 933 88等效,例举了包含氧化锆或氧化铪与氧化硅混合的催化剂,所提供的结果表明,按所用甲醛量为基准计算,含氧化锆或氧化铪的催化剂所给出的产率较低。
Yoo在Applied Catalysis,102,(1993)215-232页中提及铯负载于掺杂不同改性剂的氧化硅上的催化剂。掺杂镧、铅或铊的催化剂有短期改进效果,而铋似乎是满意的掺杂剂。但是镧含量高会使产物的选择性低,而镧含量低则会使催化剂的烧结速度比掺杂铋的催化剂要快的多。有效添加剂全部是一些具有较大挥发性的高毒性重金属,这些因素都阻碍了它们用作催化剂组分。
上述US 3 933 888指出使用煅制二氧化硅很重要,且表明其它类型的氧化硅不适用。所述的适用煅制二氧化硅是总表面积在150-300m2/g范围,总孔体积为3-15cm3/g和孔径分布指定为至少含50%孔径大于10000(1000nm)孔隙且至少含30%孔径低于1000(100nm)孔隙的煅制二氧化硅。与此对照,本发明中可使用的氧化硅优选为多孔型高表面积氧化硅,如硅胶、沉淀硅胶和烧结的煅制二氧化硅。
因此,本发明提供一种包括含1-10%(重)碱金属(以金属表示)的多孔型高表面积氧化硅催化剂,其中催化剂包含至少一种选自硼、镁、铝、锆和铪的改性剂元素的化合物,其含量应使催化剂中所述改性剂元素总量达到每100摩尔氧化硅含0.25到2克原子,所述改性剂元素化合物分散于所述氧化硅孔隙中。
本发明所用氧化硅的表面积优选为至少50m2g-1。表面积可通过熟知的方法测定,优选方法为本领域熟知的标准BET氮吸附法。优选大部分氧化硅表面积是由孔径5-150nm范围的孔隙提供。“大部分”氧化硅孔体积或表面积是由孔径5-150nm范围的孔隙提供的意思是指至少50%且优选至少70%的孔体积或表面积是由此孔径范围的孔隙提供。
优选的碱金属是钾、铷或尤其是铯。碱金属含量优选在3-8%(重)(以金属表示)范围。
优选硅胶,但也可使用适宜的煅制二氧化硅。
优选的改性剂元素是锆、铝或硼。
本发明还提供一种在上述催化剂存在下,通过式R’-CH2-COOR的链烷酸或链烷酸酯与甲醛反应生产烯属不饱和酸或其酯,特别是甲基丙烯酸或甲基丙烯酸烷基酯的方法,式中R和R’各自独立为氢或烷基,尤其是含例如1-4个碳原子的低级烷基。
本方法特别适合于链烷酸或酯分别为丙酸或丙酸甲酯的情况下生产甲基丙烯酸或尤其是甲基丙烯酸甲酯。
可使用改性剂元素的混合物,例如铝和锆混合物或镁和锆混合物。催化剂中改性剂元素的总量优选在0.25到1.5克原子/100摩尔氧化硅范围。一般来说,改性剂元素过少会使氧化硅载体不够稳定,导致因表面积损失而失活,而改性剂元素过多常常会导致催化剂选择性降低。
催化剂可通过用适宜化合物的溶液,如改性剂元素的盐溶于适当溶剂形成的溶液浸渍物理尺寸符合催化剂要求的氧化硅颗粒,然后干燥的方法来制备。为达到所期望的添加量,浸渍和干燥步骤可重复进行多次。由于改性剂和碱金属之间对氧化硅活性中心存在竞争,故改性剂最好是在碱金属之前引入。我们已发现在用水溶液多次浸渍时,若各步浸渍中间颗粒完全干燥会降低催化剂颗粒的强度,因此在此情况下优选在各步浸渍中间保持催化剂有一定的湿度。当使用非水溶液时,优选可先用适宜的非水溶液,如改性剂金属的烷氧化物或乙酸盐溶于乙醇形成的溶液进行一或多步浸渍,然后干燥的方法引入改性剂,其后再用适宜的碱金属化合物溶液通过类似方法引入碱金属。当采用水溶液时,优选使用例如改性剂金属和铯的硝酸盐或乙酸盐水溶液,按足以使所期望的改性剂和铯添加量一步到位的浓度进行浸渍,然后干燥。
改性剂元素可以可溶性盐的形式引入氧化硅颗粒中,但我们相信改性剂元素在氧化硅中是以催化剂经离子交换浸渍、干燥、焙烧或催化作用过程中形成的氧化物和/或氢氧化物(尤其是在氧化硅表面)的形式存在。
另外,改性剂可通过改性剂元素化合物与氧化硅共凝胶或共沉淀的方法,或通过用卤化硅水解改性剂元素卤化物混合物的方法引入组合物中。Bosman等人在J.Catalyst,148卷(1994)660页和Monros等人在J.Materials Science,28卷(1993)5832页描述了通过溶胶凝胶处理制备氧化硅和氧化锆混合氧化物的方法。Jubb和bowen在J.Materials Science,22卷(1987)1963-1970页述及在从原硅酸四乙酯凝胶过程中用硼掺杂氧化硅球的方法。ller R K所著的《氧化硅化学》(Wiley出版社,纽约,1979)和Brinker C J&Scherer G W所著的《溶胶凝胶科学》(Academic出版社,1990)中述及制备多孔型氧化硅的方法。这些制备适用氧化硅方法是本领域所熟知的。
催化剂优选经焙烧处理,例如使用前于300到600℃,尤其是400-500℃范围的温度下,在空气中焙烧,但我们已发现此步骤并不总是必不可缺的。
催化剂一般是以固定床形式使用,因此最好组合物成型为一定形状的粒子,如球形、颗粒、片状、团粒或挤出物,最大和最小尺寸一般在1到10mm范围。当采用浸渍技术时,可在浸渍前将氧化硅这样成型。另外,也可在催化剂生产过程的任何适宜步骤时将组合物如此成型。催化剂也可采取其它形式,例如粉末或小珠状,且可以此形式使用。
链烷酸或其酯与甲醛可独立进料或预先混合后送入含催化剂的反应器中,酸或酯与甲醛的摩尔比从20∶1到1∶20,反应温度为250-400℃,停留时间为1-100秒,压力为1-10bar。水的存在量可以为反应混合物的60%(重),但由于其在催化剂减活和酯水解成酸方面有不利的影响,因而优选含水量最少化。所加入的甲醛可以来自任何适宜的来源,包括但不限于甲醛水溶液、由甲醛干燥工序得到的无水甲醛、三噁烷、甲二醇二醚和多聚甲醛。当所使用的甲醛不是游离或弱配位甲醛形式时,将在合成反应器内“当场”形成甲醛或在合成反应器前的另一反应器内形成甲醛。例如,将三噁烷于350℃以上的温度下在一惰性物质上或空试管内分解,或于100℃以上的温度下经酸催化剂催化分解。第二个实例是通过将甲缩醛与水反应分解成甲醛和甲醇,或不用水分解成二甲醚和甲醛。此类反应可在反应器内进行,或是在另一个含有催化剂如一种非均相酸催化剂的反应器内进行。在此情况下,将链烷酸或其酯另外分开送入合成反应器比较有利,以避免其被酸催化剂分解。
当所期望的产物是通过链烷酸酯与甲醛反应制得的不饱和酯时,也可将与酯相对应的醇和其它组分一起或另外分开送入反应器内。醇所起的作用之一是降低留在反应器内的酸量。没有必要将醇在反应器前段加入,例如可在中段或接近后段处加入,起到将酸如丙酸、甲基丙烯酸转化为相应酯,同时不降低催化剂活性的作用。
也可加入其它添加剂,用作降低反应剧烈程度的稀释剂,或用来控制因反应造成的催化剂放热。也可加入反应改进剂,例如用来改变碳沉积到催化剂上的速度。举例来说,可加入少量氧化剂如氧气来降低焦碳形成速度。还可包括一些例如能够改变共沸混合物组成,有助于分离的添加剂。虽然起后一作用的这些组分最好是在反应器后加入,但在某些情况下,反应器内包括这些添加剂比较有利。
为使因挥发而造成的碱金属损失最小化,可将碱金属以适当形式如挥发性盐形式连续或间歇送入反应器内。
通过以下实施例说明本发明。
实施例1-4
在这些实施例中,所用氧化硅是纯度99%以上的直径在2-4mm的球形硅胶,总表面积为300-350m2/g,且孔体积为1.04cm3/g,76%的孔体积是由孔径在7-23nm范围的孔隙提供。
使用不同改性剂,通过将氧化硅用硝酸锆水溶液浸渍、排水并先后在旋转蒸发器和120℃的空气烘箱内干燥2小时的方法制备一系列催化剂。若需要的话,重复浸渍和干燥步骤,使改性剂含量达到所期望的值。然后用碳酸铯水溶液通过类似方法引入铯,得到铯含量约为4%(重)(以金属表示)。然后将催化剂于450℃下空气中焙烧。
通过加速试验法确定水解造成的表面积随时间的损失,加速试验法是在350℃下,将含约40%(体积)水的氮气以3l/h的流速通过1g催化剂样品。通过氮吸附技术定期测定用干燥氮气吹扫后的样品表面积。所得结果示于下表。

在一个常压微型反应器内装入约3g粉碎至1mm大小颗粒的催化剂,测定催化剂样品的催化性能。使用前,将催化剂于300℃下在100ml/min的氮气流中干燥30分钟时间。催化剂于300℃下开始工作并与丙酸甲酯、甲醇和福尔马林的混合物一起送入。福尔马林的甲醛∶水∶甲醇的重量比为0.35∶0.50∶0.15,丙酸甲酯、甲醇和福尔马林的比例应使丙酸甲酯、甲醇和甲醛的总摩尔比达到1∶1.45∶0.187。反应物通过催化剂的速度应使接触时间一开始就达到约5秒。进料稳定后(约30分钟),将催化剂温度升到350℃,并保持稳定过夜。操作时间约16小时后,通过变动进料气流速度对催化剂活性和选择性进行试验。所得结果示于下表。

从上表看出,锆在减缓表面积损失方面有明显改进效果,在长停留时间下,除锆用量较大时的情况外,对选择性也有明显改进。对选择性的影响也可通过下表所示的重组分即不期望产物的产率来说明。

试验结果说明铝作为通过氧化硅稳定性的改性剂是有效的,但过量使用会对活性和选择性有负面影响。
实施例8
重复实施例2,但使用溶有氧化硼的碳酸铯溶液来替代硝酸锆,得到含0.8g硼原子/100摩尔氧化硅的催化剂。6天后试验测定表面积为172m2/g,其后表面积慢慢下降,22天后为157m2/g。活性试验中,接触时间为3.8秒时,产率为7%且选择性为95%。接触时间为6.2秒时,产率为9%且选择性为95%。
实施例9
重复实施例2,但使用硝酸铝和硝酸氧化铪的混合物来替代硝酸锆,得到含0.2g铝原子和0.3g铪原子/100摩尔氧化硅的催化剂。活性试验中,接触时间为3.0秒时,产率为7%且选择性为94%。接触时间为6.7秒时,产率为10%且选择性为94%。
实施例10-13(比较例)
按实施例1的方法,使用粒径为1mm的氧化锆替代硅胶作为载体制备催化剂。制备标称铯含量在2-8%(重)范围的催化剂。所得结果和催化剂表面积示于下表。
产率和选择性较差的结果表明掺杂铯的氧化锆不适合作为催化剂。

为例示说明锆对烧结的煅制二氧化硅表面积的稳定作用,将纯度99%以上的、总表面积约为200m2/g且孔体积为0.8cm3/g的煅制二氧化硅用碳酸铯和硝酸锆浸渍,得到含约4%(重)铯的催化剂,制成3.5mm直径和4mm厚的片状物。表面积试验按实施例1-4的方法进行。

实施例27-33
载体与实施例1-4相同但采用不同的催化剂制备方法,使用4%(重)铯和不同量锆来制备催化剂。将载体粉碎并筛分出0.5到2mm的级分。将硝酸铝、硝酸锆和硝酸铯分别溶于水中。将溶液混合,并在搅拌下将约等于载体孔体积1.5倍的量加至载体。不断搅拌下将此混合物在热板上干燥。然后于100℃下在空气中干燥3小时。
通过加速试验法确定水解造成的表面积随时间的损失,加速试验法是将氮气鼓泡通过70℃的水,在出口处形成含约22%(体积)水的氮气,然后以60l/h的流速通过10g 350℃催化剂样品。采用氮吸附技术,在一个粉粒学的ASAP 2405氮孔度计中测定试验开始和最后时的样品表面积。所得结果示于下表。

在一个装有约1g催化剂的加压微型反应器内进行催化剂催化性能试验。先将催化剂在氮气流中加热1小时到300℃,然后按摩尔组成为丙酸甲酯∶甲醛∶甲醇∶水为1∶1∶0.19∶0.048的混合物占流量的25%(体积)和氮气占流量的75%(体积)的比例将绝压为4bar的含反应物料流引入使有机物和水的分压为1bar(绝压)。调整接触时间使产率尽可能达到约10%。18小时后在线测定催化剂性能。结果示于下表,试验表明催化剂对水热烧结的稳定性随锆含量的增加而不断提高。催化剂的性能在约0.5g锆原子/100摩尔氧化硅之内符合常规,然后开始下降。这些结果表明综合上述两个因素来考虑的最佳性能范围是0.35到0.5g锆原子/100摩尔氧化硅。与实施例2-4比较,可以看出最佳水平依赖于催化剂制备方法。

实施例34-38
按实施例28所述方法将硝酸铯加到结晶氧化锆粉末(表面积38m2g-1)上来制备催化剂。采用实施例27的方法进行催化剂活性试验。结果示于下表,且试验表明单独使用氧化锆作为MMA合成催化剂载体并不合适。在2%(重)时的最佳结果不能维持,运行24小时后选择性降为60%。除了铯负载量最恰当的情况外,其它试验中不希望的反应副产物二乙基甲酮(DEK)的含量也很高。DEK达到如此高含量会带来特殊的问题,因为其沸点非常接近MMA的沸点,无法通过蒸馏除去。

实施例39-43(比较)
催化剂的制备方法是将实施例1-4所用的粉碎至0.6-1.0mm粒度的纯氧化硅载体与一部分实施例34-38所用的氧化锆粉末按不同比例物理混合,然后将混合载体按实施例27-33所述方法用硝酸铯浸渍,得到含4%(重)铯(以氧化锆+氧化锆计算)的催化剂。采用实施例27-33的方法进行催化试验和对水热烧结稳定性试验,结果示于下表:

试验结果表明锆以氧化锆和氧化硅物理混合物形式存在对因水影响造成的表面积损失方面有一定的好处,但这种影响似乎与混合物中存在的锆量无关。但是,采用此形式锆的效果与采用实施例29-31所说明的通过溶液分散至氧化硅方法引入锆的效果相同。此外,采用由氧化硅和氧化锆混合物制成的催化剂会使DEK产率明显增高,如下表所示。

实施例44-48
采用实施例28的方法制备催化剂,不同之处是用氧化硼代替硝酸锆。采用实施例所述方法对催化剂进行催化性能和水热烧结稳定性试验,结果如下所示。可以看到硼对烧结稳定性起到有利作用,同时在大于2g原子/100g原子氧化硅时开始对催化性能有负面影响。

实施例49
采用实施例28的方法但用0.39g原子铪代替0.39g原子锆、硝酸氧化锆代替硝酸锆制备催化剂。采用实施例27-33所用方法进行水热烧结试验和催化活性试验。在试验期间表面积从309m2g-1下降到125m2g-1。1.9秒接触时间时甲基丙烯酸甲酯+甲基丙烯酸的产率为10.33%且选择性为92.5%。
实施例50
采用实施例28所述方法,以纯度大于99%、表面积为127m2g-1的直径在2-4mm范围的球形高纯硅胶为载体制备含铯和锆催化剂。
实施例51-54
以表面积为如下表所示的粉末状高纯硅胶为载体制备含铯和锆催化剂。
实施例55-58
以组成如下表所示的煅制二氧化硅为载体制备含铯和锆催化剂。

实施例59-63
用乙酸盐代替硝酸盐,载体与实施例1-4相同来制备催化剂。将载体粉碎并筛分出0.5到2.0mm之间的级分。将氢氧化铝和氢氧化铯分别溶于5%和10%的硝酸水溶液。15%溶有乙酸锆的乙酸水溶液(Aldrich出品)用作溶液。将溶液混合并按1.5倍于载体孔体积的量搅拌下加至载体。将其不停搅拌下在热板上干燥,然后于110℃干燥2小时。催化剂的配方如下表所示:

Claims (18)
1.一种包括含1-10%(重)碱金属(以金属表示)的多孔型高表面积氧化硅催化剂,催化剂包含至少一种选自镁、铝、锆和/或铪的改性剂元素的化合物,其含量应使催化剂中所述改性剂元素总量达到每100摩尔氧化硅含0.25到2克原子,所述改性剂元素化合物分散于所述氧化硅的孔隙中,氧化硅表面积至少为50m2/g。
2.一种包括含1-10%(重)碱金属(以金属表示)的多孔型高表面积氧化硅催化剂,催化剂包含选自硼、镁、铝、锆和/或铪改性剂元素化合物的混合物,其含量应使催化剂中所述改性剂元素总量达到每100摩尔氧化硅含0.25到2克原子,所述改性剂元素化合物分散于所述氧化硅的孔隙中,氧化硅表面积至少为50m2/g。
3.按权利要求1或2的催化剂,其中至少50%的孔体积是由孔径范围5-150nm的孔隙提供。
4.按权利要求1或2的催化剂,其中氧化硅总表面积的至少50%存在于孔径范围5-150nm的孔隙中。
5.按权利要求1或2的催化剂,其中碱金属为铯。
6.按前面任一项权利要求的催化剂,其中至少一种改性剂元素化合物是以所述至少一种改性剂元素的至少一种氧化物和/或氢氧化物的形式存在。
7.按前面从属于权利要求1的任一项权利要求的催化剂,其中改性剂元素包括锆和/或铝。
8.一种包括含1-10%(重)碱金属(以金属表示)的多孔型高表面积氧化硅催化剂,其中该催化剂包含至少一种选自硼、镁、铝、锆和/或铪的改性剂元素的化合物,其含量应使催化剂中所述改性剂元素总量达到每100摩尔氧化硅含0.25到2克原子,所述改性剂元素化合物分散于所述氧化硅的孔隙中,当催化剂仅包含硼作为改性剂元素时,硼含量大于0.29克原子/100摩尔氧化硅。
9.按权利要求1的催化剂,其中每100摩尔氧化硅含总量为0.25到1.5克原子所述改性剂元素。
10.一种包括含1-10%(重)碱金属(以金属表示)的多孔型高表面积氧化硅催化剂,催化剂包含作为改性剂元素的硼化合物,其含量应使催化剂中所述改性剂元素总量达到每100摩尔氧化硅含0.39到3.9克原子,所述改性剂元素化合物分散于所述氧化硅的孔隙中。
11.一种制备权利要求2的催化剂的方法,包括将多孔型高表面积氧化硅颗粒与选自硼、镁、铝、锆和/或铪的改性剂元素的化合物的混合物的溶液混合起来,将所述化合物浸渍入所述颗粒,使颗粒中每100摩尔氧化硅含总量为0.25到2克原子所述改性剂元素;用碱金属化合物溶液浸渍所述颗粒,使颗粒含1-10%(重)碱金属(以金属表示),所述浸渍步骤可在改性剂元素化合物浸渍过程中或之前进行;然后将所述颗粒干燥。
12.一种制备权利要求1的催化剂的方法,包括将多孔型高表面积氧化硅颗粒与一种选自镁、铝、锆和/或铪改性剂元素的化合物的溶液混合起来,将所述化合物浸渍入所述颗粒,使颗粒中每100摩尔氧化硅含总量为0.25到2克原子所述改性剂元素;用碱金属化合物溶液浸渍所述颗粒,使颗粒含1-10%(重)碱金属(以金属表示),所述浸渍步骤可在改性剂元素化合物浸渍过程中或之前进行;然后将所述颗粒干燥。
13.一种制备权利要求10的催化剂的方法,包括将多孔型高表面积氧化硅颗粒与一种改性剂元素硼化合物的溶液混合,将所述化合物浸渍入所述颗粒,使颗粒中每100摩尔氧化硅含总量为0.39到3.9克原子所述改性剂元素;用碱金属化合物溶液浸渍所述颗粒,使颗粒含1-10%(重)碱金属(以金属表示),所述浸渍步骤可在改性剂元素化合物浸渍过程中或之前进行;然后将所述颗粒干燥。
14.制备权利要求1或2的催化剂的方法,包括将改性剂元素化合物与氧化硅共凝胶或共沉淀,或是将改性剂元素卤化物的混合物用卤化硅水解。
15.一种在权利要求1到10任一项的催化剂存在下通过式R’-CH2-COOR的链烷酸或链烷酸酯与甲醛反应生产烯属不饱和酸或其酯的方法,式中R和R’各自独立地为氢或烷基。
16.按权利要求15的方法,其中链烷酸酯是丙酸甲酯,是在甲醇存在下与甲醛反应。
17.按权利要求15或16的方法,其中甲醛是以福尔马林形式提供。
18.一种生产甲基丙烯酸甲酯的方法,包括在含1-10%(重)铯(以金属表示)的包括多孔型高表面积氧化硅的催化剂存在下,将丙酸甲酯与甲醛和甲醇反应,催化剂包含锆化合物,达到每100摩尔氧化硅含总量为0.25到2克原子锆,所述锆化合物分散于所述氧化硅的孔隙中。
