因此密封装置的一般构造包括实际上杯状的金属防护罩,金属防护罩通过具有径向过盈的压入配合固定于滚动轴承的外圈的轴环。虽然在前面的实施方式中,密封装置被设计成仅借助于与轴承的过盈配合来执行其功能,然而在当前的实施方式中,密封装置具有金属防护罩,金属防护罩与包裹围绕防护罩的外部的弹性体材料的密封元件固定,或者,如在提出的示例中,与密封剂流体固定。
在前述示例中,金属防护罩沿着外圈的轴环的径向内侧面通过过盈来压入配合。在可选择的方案中,可以沿着外圈的同一轴环的径向外侧面来压入配合具有较大径向尺寸的防护罩。
后一方案无疑具有以下优点:掩盖形成于轴环的轴向内侧环状面的锈。如已知的,滚动体轴承的圈由特殊轴承钢制成,尽管特殊轴承钢具有高的强度,但是如果暴露于空气也会受到导致锈形成的氧化现象的影响。虽然这方面不会引起与轴承的强度(由不受机械应力影响的面积限定)有关的担忧,但是确实会对机动车辆的终端用户失去吸引力。结果,机动车制造商,特别是生产名贵车辆的制造商特别要求轮毂轴承组件的外部可见面必须不能展现出生锈现象。
遗憾地是,在其它条件都不变的情况下,将防护性防护罩压入配合于外圈的外侧面的方案比沿着内侧面压入配合防护罩的方案提供了更差的机械强度特性。为了省事,我们可以说,具有弹性体元件的防护罩的外侧压入配合等同于没有弹性体元件的防护罩的内侧压入配合;此外,没有弹性体的防护罩的外侧压入配合在大多数情况下是完全不可行的。
最后,由于制造商的特定应用所施加的总体尺寸的限制,因此将防护性防护罩压入配合于外侧面的方案可能是无法使用的。
因而需要设计一种针对密封装置的方案,该方案能够达到机动车制造商在隐藏锈方面的规定,同时还提供了机械强度和高的可靠性。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供一种轮毂轴承组件,该轮毂轴承组件在其轴向内侧配备有密封装置并且没有上述缺点。特别地,本发明的一个方面在于提供如下方案:能够通过遮掩轴承圈的暴露于空气的部分来隐藏存在的任何锈,同时还具有非常良好的机械强度的特性和可靠性。根据本发明这是通过提供如下的保护性防护罩来实现的:该保护性防护罩能够被沿着外圈的轴环的轴向内侧面压入配合,同时还设置有覆盖轴环的轴向内侧面的径向外侧边缘。
根据另一目的,由于涂布于轴承轴环的所述轴向内侧面,或者可选择地涂布于防护罩的径向外侧边缘的密封剂的作用增强了密封,因此由于提出的方案不需要使用任何弹性体元件并且还提供了比简单的金属对金属的密封更好的性能,因此提出的方案简化了压入配合密封装置的过程。
根据本发明,说明了具有所附独立权利要求中叙述的特征的用于轮毂轴承组件的密封装置。
根据所附从属权利要求中叙述的特征说明了本发明的进一步优选和/或特别有利的实施方式。

具体实施方式
参照图1,轮毂轴承组件整体由数字10表示。
轮毂轴承组件10包括:轮毂20,轮毂20能够转动并用作轴承的径向内圈;轴承单元30;检测单元40,检测单元40用于检测机动车辆的车轮的角速度;和密封装置50,密封装置50位于轴向内侧位置。在整个本说明书和权利要求书中,指示位置和方向的任何术语和表达(诸如“径向”和“轴向”)应被理解成与轴承单元30的中心转动轴线X相关。然而,诸如“轴向外侧”和“轴向内侧”的表达指的是组装情况,优选地在当前情况下分别指的是车轮侧和与车轮侧相对的侧。
轴承单元30包括静止的径向外圈31、可转动的径向内圈32和分别介于外圈31与轮毂20之间和介于外圈31与内圈32之间的双列滚动体(在本示例中为球)33、34。为了简化图示,附图标记33和34可以指的是单个的球或多个球的列;特别地,33表示在轴向外侧的多个球的列或单个的球,34表示在轴向内侧的多个球的列或单个的球。还出于简化的原因,本说明书中的示例和所附附图中频繁使用术语“球”,而不是更一般的术语“滚动体”(且也使用相同的附图标记)。然而,应当理解的是,可以使用任何其它的滚动体(诸如,滚子、圆锥滚子、滚针滚子等)来代替球。
静止的外圈31具有轴向延伸的管状的主要部分31a,主要部分31a在其内部限定了分别用于滚动体的列33和34的滚道35和36。如以下更全面地说明的,外圈31还具有轴向内侧的末端边缘31b,密封装置50嵌合于末端边缘31b的径向内侧横向面31b’(参见图2)。
滚动体33、34还分别在轮毂20上和在嵌合于轮毂20的径向内圈32上转动。轮毂20和内圈32分别形成用于滚动体的列33和34的滚道37和38。
轮毂20具有与轴向内侧卷翘边缘22稳定地连接的中心管状部分21,轴向内侧卷翘边缘22用作内圈32的轴向肩部并提供其轴向预负载。优选地,在已经嵌合了内圈32之后通过冷塑性变形(特别是通过型锻或其它类似操作)来形成卷翘边缘22。
用于检测机动车辆的车轮的角速度的检测单元40包括:音轮41,音轮41与轴承的转动圈(在本情况下为径向内圈32)成角度地连接;和传感器42,在本情况下为能够获取由能够用于监测轴承、轮毂和车轮组件的动态运行参数的音轮产生的信号的转数传感器。特别地,音轮41具有第一筒状金属防护罩41a,第一筒状金属防护罩41a与内圈32连接,第一筒状金属防护罩41a以固定的方式与沿径向延伸的第二防护罩41b连接。磁性塑料或磁性橡胶的环状盘41c例如通过合适的粘合剂介质附着于该第二防护罩41b。因此环状盘41c也被成角度地固定于轴承的转动圈。环状盘41c所使用的材料的示例为铁塑料,铁塑料是由90%的钡或锶铁氧体(剩余的10%为热塑性粘结剂)构成的多用途材料。铁塑料为可以是各向同性或各向异性的并且可以基于最终用途而被磁化的惰性材料。并且由于其热塑性成分而还对大气媒介具有高度的抵抗性。塑性铁素体被以各种方式(包括多磁极方式)磁化。
参照图2,根据本发明,密封装置50包括防护罩51,防护罩51固定于轴承30的外圈31并且在轴向上介于音轮41与转数传感器42之间(图1)。防护罩51为大致的杯状并且包括圆形的、大致径向地延伸的端壁52;和固定于端壁52且实际上垂直于端壁52的双层筒状横向壁53。双层筒状横向壁53由一对横向壁54、55形成,横向壁54、55彼此固定并且通过实质上等于180°的角度在彼此上完全折回,并且横向壁54、55具有实质上相等的厚度。第一筒状横向壁54以固定的方式与端壁52连接并且被置于与端壁成大致90°的角度处。第二筒状横向壁55具有径向外侧横向面55a。径向外侧横向面55a是因将防护罩压入配合到外圈31的轴向内侧的末端边缘31b的径向内侧横向面31b’上而受到影响的面。第二筒状横向壁55以固定的方式与径向外侧边缘56连接并且被置于与径向外侧边缘56成大致90°的角度处。径向外侧边缘是防护罩51的适于覆盖末端边缘31b的轴向内侧面31b”(换言之,外圈31的可能受到氧化现象和随之形成的锈层影响的面)的部分。
在其它条件都不变的情况下,具有双层筒状横向壁53的特定构造使得能够使防护罩的受到压入配合影响的壁的厚度翻倍,从而提供了更加稳固和可靠的方案。
密封装置还包括密封剂流体57,密封剂流体57被涂布于外圈31的末端边缘31b的轴向内侧环状面31b”,或者可选择地被涂布于防护罩51的径向外侧边缘56。粘合剂的主要功能是有助于径向外侧边缘56与轴向内侧环状面31b”之间金属对金属的密封,这防止了水和污染物的渗透,从而降低了沿着轴承圈的全部内侧面发生氧化和形成锈的风险。
所使用的密封剂流体可以是以在无氧情况下发生固化为特征的液体粘合剂,或者可以是仅例如通过以下技术中的一种制成的漆料或其它液体或半液体密封物质:
-丙烯酸粘合剂,例如还称为“瞬间粘合剂”的基于氰基丙烯酸酯的粘合剂。可选地,这些粘合剂可以通过UV固化而形成。因而这些粘合剂可以兼具UV固化技术的优点与瞬间粘合剂的特点;
-聚合物漆料,例如丙烯酸聚合物乳液中的悬浮的包含颜料的丙烯酸漆料;
-需氧性粘合剂,可选地,其可以填充有弹性体;
-厌氧性粘合剂。
密封装置50以如下方式被安装于轴承的外圈31:
-将密封剂57涂布于外圈31的末端边缘31b的轴向内侧环状面31b”,或者可选择地,将密封剂57涂布于防护罩51的径向外侧边缘56;
-在两连接面(也就是说,外圈31的末端边缘31b的径向内侧横向面31b’与防护罩51的第二筒状横向壁55的横向面55a)的直径之间执行具有径向过盈的压入配合(压力配合)。
所选择的方案是容易应用的,并且由于密封剂流体的购买价格低,因此所选择的方案在经济上是有利的,但最重要的是所选择的方案在性能方面竞争力高:例如,与通过金属对金属接触而得到的密封相比,仅仅大致0.1g的密封剂流体就显著改善了密封,使得其等同于通过使用弹性体元件而得到的密封。
此外,归因于上述不同的实施方式,由于不需要在金属防护罩上共同成型弹性体元件的操作,因此组装装置的过程不仅是更快速的,而且还通过粘合剂固定操作提供的灵活性而被进一步简化。这是因为可以根据装置的构造需求和涂布粘合剂的容易性来在外圈31的末端边缘31b上(而不是在防护罩51的径向外侧边缘56上)同样好地执行该涂布。
应当理解,液体粘合剂可以替换为有助于实现相同的发明理念的任何其它适当的密封剂流体。
除了如上述的本发明的实施方式以外,应当理解的是存在许多其它变型。例如,在说明的构造中,轴承的外圈和密封装置两者均为静止的,但本发明还能够适用于外圈和密封装置两者均为可转动的情况。还应当理解的是,所述实施方式仅仅是示例性的并且不限制本发明的范围、本发明的应用或本发明的可能构造。相反地,虽然以上说明能够使本领域技术人员以至少一个示例性构造应用本发明,但应当理解的是可以在不脱离如在所附权利要求中限定的本发明的范围(无论是字面理解和/或根据其法律上等同物)的情况下设计所说明的组成部件的许多变型。

Claims (8)

1.一种密封装置(50),其用于配备有滚动轴承单元(30)的轮毂轴承组件(10),所述密封装置(50)包括:
-金属防护罩(51),所述金属防护罩(51)具有圆形的、实质上径向延伸的端壁(52);和固定于且实际上垂直于所述端壁(52)的双层筒状横向壁(53),所述横向壁由第一筒状横向壁(54)和第二筒状横向壁(55)形成,借助于所述径向外圈(31)的轴向内侧的末端边缘(31b)的径向内侧横向面(31b’)与所述第二筒状横向壁(55)的横向面(55a)之间的稳定接触,所述金属防护罩(51)与所述轴承单元(30)的径向外圈(31)成角度地连接,
所述密封装置(50)的特征在于,所述第二筒状横向壁(55)以固定的方式被连接至适于覆盖会潜在受到氧化现象和随之形成的锈层影响的所述末端边缘(31b)的轴向内侧面(31b”)的径向外侧边缘(56)。
2.如权利要求1所述的密封装置(50),其特征在于,其包括密封剂流体(57),所述密封剂流体(57)适于涂布到所述外圈(31)的所述末端边缘(31b)的轴向内侧面(31b”),或者可选择地涂布于所述防护罩(51)的所述径向外侧边缘(56)。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的密封装置(50),其特征在于,所述第一筒状横向壁(54)和所述第二筒状横向壁(55)彼此固定并且通过实质上等于180°的角度在彼此上完全折回。
4.如权利要求3所述的密封装置(50),其特征在于,所述第一筒状横向壁(54)和所述第二筒状横向壁(55)具有彼此实质上相等的厚度。
5.如权利要求2至4中任一项所述的密封装置(50),其特征在于,所述密封剂流体(57)是液体粘合剂、漆料或其它液体或半液体密封剂物质。
6.如权利要求5所述的密封装置(50),其特征在于,所述液体粘合剂是在无氧情况下固化的粘合剂。
7.一种轮毂轴承组件(10),包括:
-能够转动的轮毂(20),
-滚动轴承单元(30),所述滚动轴承单元(30)包括静止的径向外圈(31)、能够转动的径向内圈(32)和分别介于所述径向外圈(31)与所述轮毂(20)之间的和介于所述径向外圈(31)与所述径向内圈(32)之间的双列滚动体(33、34),和
-检测单元(40),所述检测单元(40)用于检测机动车辆的车轮的角速度,所述检测单元(40)包括音轮(41)和传感器(42),
其特征在于,所述轮毂轴承组件(10)包括根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的轴向内侧的密封装置(50),所述密封装置(50)与所述径向外圈(31)成角度地连接。
8.一种将如权利要求2至6中任一项所述的密封装置(50)安装到轮毂轴承组件的径向外圈(31)上的方法,其特征在于,包括以下步骤:
-将密封剂流体(57)涂布于所述径向外圈(31)的末端边缘(31b)的轴向内侧环状面(31b”),或者可选择地涂布于所述密封装置(50)的防护罩(51)的径向外侧边缘(56);
-在所述径向外圈(31)的所述末端边缘(31b)的径向内侧横向面(31b’)的直径与所述金属防护罩(51)的第二筒状横向壁(55)的横向面(55a)的直径之间执行具有径向过盈的压入配合。
