Abstract

Description
技术领域
本发明涉及用于车轮轮毂单元的密封装置。
特别但非排他地,本发明适于用于车辆的非驱动轮的车轮轮毂领域,也就是说,适用于不具有穿过自身旋转轴线的半轴(half-axle)的车轮轮毂单元,其中对应的密封装置具有轴对称的“杯”状,使得密封装置将位于单元的外圈与内圈之间的空间密封。
背景技术
已知类型的密封装置被制备成与外圈稳定地连接,并且由于车轮轮毂单元的外圈是非旋转圈,所以这些密封装置提供保护单元免受任何环境污染物(水、泥土、碎屑等)影响的静态密封。
本申请人递交的意大利专利申请号102015000056435公开了一种密封装置,其具有本质上杯状的板金遮蔽件(sheet metal shield),并且包括:
–筒状横向安装壁,其与车轮轮毂单元的外圈的轴环径向过盈地力配合,并且由两层板金形成,两层板金彼此完全折返(bent back),
–圆形的端壁,其基本上沿径向延伸、与筒状横向安装壁一体化并在径向上位于筒状横向安装壁的内侧;以及
–止挡边缘,其以环的方式延伸、与筒状横向安装壁一体化并在径向上位于筒状横向安装壁的内侧,使得在使用时,其在轴向上抵靠外圈的轴环。
上述类型的密封装置还包括密封流体,其由液态粘接剂、清漆或者其它液态或半液态密封物质形成,并且能够涂布在遮蔽件的筒状横向安装壁,以改善环状边缘与轴环之间的金属对金属密封性,因而防止了水和污染物的侵入,由此降低了遍及车轮轮毂单元的内表面氧化和生锈的风险。
尽管根据102015000056435的解决方案在改善筒状横向安装壁与轴环之间的金属对金属密封性方面是令人满意的,但是完全无法防止液体和污染物在筒状横向安装壁与外圈的轴环之间的侵入,同时本质上归因于密封流体在遮蔽件的运输和装卸期间倾向于沿着筒状横向安装壁并抵靠环状止挡边缘流动的流动性,还具有缺陷,从而会导致密封流体的分散,并且会遮蔽件自身的装卸方面带来问题。
发明内容
本发明的目的是提供无上述缺陷的用于车轮轮毂单元的密封装置。
根据本发明,提供了具有所附权利要求书中限定的特征的用于车轮轮毂单元的密封装置。

具体实施方式
参照图1和图2,标记10表示整个车轮轮毂单元,该车轮轮毂单元基本上是已知的,因此为了简单起见,仅示出了部分,并且该车轮轮毂单元包括具有对称轴线A的非旋转外圈20。
外圈20在径向上以彼此同轴且与轴线A同轴的外筒面21和内筒面22为界,在轴向上以与轴线A以及表面21和22两者横断(transverse)的环状面24为界。内筒面22限定出单元10的内部空间23,而表面24是外圈20的在轴向上位于内前方的表面,并且与表面21和22一起形成外圈20的轴环(collar)25。
为了将空间23密封,单元20设置有与外圈20稳定连接的密封装置40,并且由于外圈20是非旋转圈,所以密封装置40提供保护单元10免受任何环境污染物(水、泥土、碎屑等)影响的静态密封。
根据本发明,密封装置40包括优选由板金制成的遮蔽件(/保护件)(shield)41,遮蔽件41以在轴向上抵靠外圈20的前表面24的方式与外圈20配合,遮蔽件41进而包括:
–筒状横向安装壁(cylindrical lateral mounting wall)42,其与外圈20的轴环25径向过盈地(radial interference)力配合(force-fit),并且由两层板金42a和42b形成,两层板金42a和42b彼此完全折返,
–圆形的端壁43,其基本上沿径向延伸、与筒状横向安装壁42一体化并在径向上位于筒状横向安装壁42的内侧;以及
–止挡边缘44,其以环的方式延伸、与筒状横向安装壁42一体化并在径向上位于筒状横向安装壁42的外侧,使得在使用时,其在轴向上抵靠外圈20的轴环25,或者更具体而言,抵靠表面24。
在实施方式的图示示例中,端壁43由单层板金形成,因此具有与筒状横向安装壁42的厚度的一半相等的厚度,从而能够使遮蔽件41变强和变硬,并且端壁43在径向上的外侧以在外圈20的轴环25中的表面22直接接合的筒状配合面(cylindrical fittingsurface)45为界。
密封装置40还包括密封衬垫47,衬垫(sealing gasket)47在图1中被以其用于运输和/或装卸的形态示出、抵靠遮蔽件41的配合面45地放置、由硅基密封混合物(silicone-based sealing compound)形成并被配制成一旦其已经抵靠表面45地放置成连续的珠(bead)48就创立(set)。在图2中,密封衬垫47被以其组装好的形态示出,在该形态中,硅基密封混合物是展开并分散的,以在轴环25与遮蔽件41之间建立基本上无形的团49,或者更特别而言,硅基密封混合物在表面22和45之间展开并分散,并且可以不渗入由形成在表面22和24之间的腔室51与遮蔽件41限定的自由空间50。这是因为,在将密封装置40组装到车轮轮毂单元10期间,壁42会沿着轴线A移动并与轴环25力配合,使得表面45相对于表面22滑动,直到环状边缘44在轴向上抵靠表面24为止。在该滑动期间,轴环25的腔室51会拦截珠48并使其变形,从而使其在两个表面22和45之间展开和分散,直到其成为块(mass)49的形态为止,可能会有过量的材料积累在空间50中。
通过使用由硅基密封混合物形成的密封衬垫47,能够在遮蔽件41自身的生产地点,在遮蔽件41上存放珠48,然后将遮蔽件41传送到车轮轮毂单元10的生产地点,因而避免了当使用液态密封粘接剂时产生的典型问题。由硅基密封混合物形成的密封衬垫47还能够使表面22和45被以液密的方式密封,从而防止了水和污染物的任何侵入,并且降低了遍及单元10的内表面氧化和生锈的风险。
根据上述密封装置40的可选实施方式,虽然在这里未图示出该实施方式,但是通过本文的描述能够容易地推论出,如果对于装卸遮蔽件41存在特殊的需求,则再次通过硅基密封混合物形成密封衬垫47,以允许在密封装置40的运输和/或组装的形态下,形成在该特定可选形态下同时抵靠筒状横向壁42和止挡边缘44放置的珠48,并且允许在密封装置40与车轮轮毂单元10组装好的形态下,形成被压缩和分散在筒状横向壁42、止挡边缘44和轴环25之间的块。换言之,在该可选实施方式中,沿着由筒状横向壁42和止挡边缘44限定的呈大致直角的角部52涂布珠48,并且在组装完成时,块将被压缩在角部52的内部,出于实际的目的,将被压缩在腔室51的内部;也就是说,块将在角部52的位置处完全地,或者优选但非必要地是,实质上完全地占据由腔室51和遮蔽件41限定的空间50。
根据上述密封装置40的另一可选实施方式,虽然在这里未图示出该实施方式,但是通过本文的描述能够容易地推论出,如果对于装卸遮蔽件41存在特殊的需求,则再次通过硅基密封混合物形成密封衬垫47,以允许在密封装置40的运输和/或组装的形态下,形成在该特定可选形态下抵靠止挡边缘44的珠48,并且允许在密封装置40与车轮轮毂单元10组装好的形态下,形成被分散在止挡边缘44与轴环25之间(也就是说,边缘44与表面24之间)的压缩块。
应当理解,本发明不限于本文所述和图示的实施方式,其视作用于车轮轮毂单元的密封装置的实施方式的示例;实际上,能够就部件的形式和配置以及构成和操作的细节对本发明进行改变。
Claims (5)
1.一种用于车轮轮毂单元(10)的密封装置(40),所述密封装置(40)在使用时能够形成静态密封,以保护所述车轮轮毂单元(10)免受环境污染物的影响,并且所述密封装置(40)包括金属遮蔽件(41),所述金属遮蔽件(41)与所述车轮轮毂单元(10)的轴环(25)连结并具有端壁(43)、筒状横向壁(42)和止挡边缘(44),所述横向壁(42)与所述端壁(43)一体化并实质上正交,所述横向壁的硬度是所述端壁(43)的硬度的两倍,以便为所述金属遮蔽件(41)赋予硬挺度,所述止挡边缘(44)与所述筒状横向壁(42)一体化、位于所述端壁(43)所在侧的相反侧,用于在使用时,在轴向上抵靠所述轴环(25);
所述密封装置(40)的特征在于,所述密封装置(40)包括由硅基密封混合物形成的密封衬垫(47),以允许在所述密封装置(40)的运输和/或组装的形态下,形成抵靠所述轴环(25)的珠(48),并且允许在所述密封装置(40)与所述车轮轮毂单元(10)组装好的形态下,形成分散在所述金属遮蔽件(41)与所述轴环(25)之间的块(49)。
2.根据权利要求1所述的密封装置,其特征在于,所述密封衬垫(47)由硅基密封混合物形成,以允许在所述密封装置(40)的运输和/或组装的形态下,形成抵靠所述筒状横向壁(42)的珠(48),并且允许在所述密封装置(40)与所述车轮轮毂单元(10)组装好的形态下,形成展开和分散在所述筒状横向壁(42)与所述轴环(25)之间的块(49)。
3.根据权利要求2所述的密封装置,其特征在于,所述密封装置包括由形成在所述轴环(25)的腔室(51)和所述遮蔽件(41)限定的补偿空间(50)。
4.根据权利要求1所述的密封装置,其特征在于,所述密封衬垫(47)由硅基密封混合物形成,以允许在所述密封装置(40)的运输和/或组装的形态下,形成同时抵靠所述筒状横向壁(42)和所述止挡边缘(44)两者的珠(48),并且允许在所述密封装置(40)与所述车轮轮毂单元(10)组装好的形态下,形成被压缩和展开在所述筒状横向壁(42)、所述止挡边缘(44)和所述轴环(25)之间的块。
5.根据权利要求1所述的密封装置,其特征在于,所述密封衬垫(47)由硅基密封混合物形成,以允许在所述密封装置(40)的运输和/或组装的形态下,形成抵靠所述止挡边缘(44)的珠(48),并且允许在所述密封装置(40)与所述车轮轮毂单元(10)组装好的形态下,形成被压缩和分散在所述止挡边缘(44)与所述轴环(25)之间的块。
