具体实施方式
内燃发动机在气缸内燃烧空气和燃料混合物以生成转矩。在一些情况下,发动机控制模块(ECM)可以停用发动机的一个或更多个气缸。ECM可以停用一个或更多个气缸例如以减少燃料消耗。
ECM确定发动机气缸的目标点火分数,以便在给定变速器当前齿轮比的情况下实现发动机转矩请求。目标点火分数的分子可以指示在气缸点火次序中的之后X个气缸期间要激活多少个气缸(Y),其中X是目标点火分数的分母。ECM以气缸的预定点火次序激活和停用发动机气缸以便实现目标点火分数。
根据本发明,ECM确定能够用于实现发动机转矩请求的变速器齿轮比和目标点火分数的其他可能组合。当使用目标点火分数和变速器齿轮比的不同组合可以提供燃料消耗减少时,ECM选择性地变换为目标点火分数和变速器齿轮比的该组合。
现在参考图1,呈现了示例发动机系统100的功能框图。车辆的发动机系统100包括发动机102,发动机102基于来自驾驶员输入模块104的驾驶员输入来燃烧空气/燃料混合物以产生转矩。空气通过进气系统108被吸入发动机102内。进气系统108可以包括进气歧管110和节流阀112。仅作为示例,节流阀112可以包括具有可旋转叶片的蝶形阀。发动机控制模块(ECM)114控制节流阀致动器模块116,并且节流阀致动器模块116调整节流阀112的开度以控制进入进气歧管110中的气流。
来自进气歧管110的空气被吸入到发动机102的气缸内。虽然发动机102包括多个气缸,不过为了例示目的而示出了单个代表性气缸118。仅作为示例,发动机102可以包括2、3、4、5、6、8、10和/或12个气缸。ECM 114可以指导气缸致动器模块120在某些情况下选择性地停用一些气缸,这将在下文中进一步讨论,这可以提高燃料效率。
发动机102可以使用四冲程循环或其他适当的发动机循环来运转。下面描述的四冲程循环的四个冲程将被称为进气冲程、压缩冲程、燃烧冲程以及排气冲程。在曲轴(未示出)每旋转一周期间,在气缸118内发生四个冲程中的两个。因此,需要曲轴旋转两周以使气缸118经历所有四个冲程。对于四冲程发动机,一个发动机循环可以对应于圈曲轴旋转两周。
当气缸118被激活时,来自进气歧管110的空气在进气冲程期间通过进气阀122被吸入到气缸118内。ECM 114控制燃料致动器模块124,其调整燃料喷射以实现期望空燃比。燃料可以在中心位置或多个位置(例如每个气缸的进气阀122附近)喷射到进气歧管110中。在各个实施方式(未示出)中,燃料可以直接喷射到气缸中,或喷射到与气缸关联的混合腔/端口中。燃料致动器模块124可以暂停向被停用的气缸的燃料喷射。
所喷射的燃料在气缸118中与空气混合并产生空气/燃料混合物。在压缩冲程期间,气缸118内的活塞(未示出)压缩空气/燃料混合物。发动机102可以是压燃发动机,在这种情况下压缩引起空气/燃料混合物的点燃。替代地,发动机102可以是火花-点火发动机,在这种情况下火花致动器模块126基于来自ECM 114的信号在气缸118中给火花塞128通电,这将空气/燃料混合物点燃。一些类型的发动机,例如均质充量压燃式(HCCI)发动机可以执行压缩点火和火花点火二者。可以相对于活塞位于其最上部位置的时刻指定火花的正时,其将被称为上止点(TDC)。
火花致动器模块126可以由指定在TDC之前或之后多久以产生火花的正时信号来控制。因为活塞位置与曲轴旋转直接相关,所以火花致动器模块126的操作可以与曲轴的位置同步。火花致动器模块126可以禁止向被停用气缸提供火花或者向被停用气缸提供火花。
在燃烧冲程期间,空气/燃料混合物的燃烧驱动活塞向下,从而驱动曲轴。燃烧冲程可以定义为在活塞到达TDC的时刻与活塞返回最下部位置的时刻之间的时间,其将被称为下止点(BDC)。
在排气冲程期间,活塞开始从BDC向上移动,并且通过排气阀130排出燃烧副产物。燃烧副产物经由排气系统134从车辆排出。
进气阀122可以由进气凸轮轴140控制,而排气阀130可以由排气凸轮轴142控制。在各个实施方式中,多个进气凸轮轴(包括进气凸轮轴140)可以控制用于气缸118的多个进气阀(包括进气阀122)和/或可以控制多组气缸(包括气缸118)的进气阀(包括进气阀122)。相似地,多个排气凸轮轴(包括排气凸轮轴142)可以控制用于气缸118的多个排气阀和/或可以控制用于多组气缸(包括气缸118)的排气阀(包括排气阀130)。虽然示出并讨论了基于凸轮轴的阀致动,但是可以实施无凸轮的阀致动器。虽然示出了单独的进气和排气凸轮轴,但是也可以使用具有用于进气阀和排气阀二者的凸角的一个凸轮轴。

可以使用曲轴位置传感器180来测量曲轴位置。可以基于使用曲轴位置传感器180测量的曲轴位置来确定发动机速度。可以使用发动机冷却剂温度(ECT)传感器182来测量发动机冷却剂的温度。ECT传感器182可以位于发动机102内或者冷却剂循环的其他位置,例如散热器(未示出)处。
可以使用歧管绝对压力(MAP)传感器184来测量进气歧管110内的压力。在各个实施方式中,可以测量发动机真空,即环境空气压力和进气歧管110内的压力之间的差。可以使用空气质量流量(MAF)传感器186来测量流到进气歧管110中的空气的质量流量。在各个实施方式中,MAF传感器186可以位于还包括节流阀112的外壳中。

可以将改变发动机参数的每个系统称为发动机致动器。每个发动机致动器均具有相关联的致动器值。例如,可以将节流阀致动器模块116称为发动机致动器,并且可以将节流阀打开面积称为致动器值。在图1的示例中,节流阀致动器模块116通过调节节流阀112的叶片的角度来实现节流阀打开面积。
也可以将火花致动器模块126称为发动机致动器,而对应的致动器值可以是相对于气缸TDC的火花提前量。其他的发动机致动器可以包括气缸致动器模块120、燃料致动器模块124、相位器致动器模块158、增压致动器模块164和EGR致动器模块172。对于这些发动机致动器,致动器值可以分别对应于气缸激活/停用序列、加油速率、进气和排气凸轮相位器角度、增压压力和EGR阀打开面积。ECM 114可以控制致动器值,以使发动机102生成所请求的发动机输出转矩。

Claims (20)
1.一种车辆的控制系统,包括:
点火模块,基于转矩请求和变速器的当前齿轮比来确定发动机的目标激活气缸数量;
组合识别模块,基于所述转矩请求识别包括可能激活气缸数量和可能变速器齿轮比的第一组合,其中以下至少之一:
所述可能激活气缸数量不同于所述目标激活气缸数量;和
所述可能变速器齿轮比不同于所述变速器的当前齿轮比;
加油估计模块,针对所述目标激活气缸数量和所述当前齿轮比来确定第一燃料消耗并且针对所述可能激活气缸数量和所述可能变速器齿轮比来确定第二燃料消耗;
变换模块,当所述第二燃料消耗小于所述第一燃料消耗时,该变换模块选择性地:
将所述目标激活气缸数量变换为所述可能激活气缸数量;和
将所述变速器的目标齿轮比变换为所述可能变速器齿轮比;以及
激活/停用模块,基于所述目标激活气缸数量来控制气缸激活和停用。
2.根据权利要求1所述的系统,还包括基于所述目标齿轮比控制所述变速器的变速器控制模块。
3.根据权利要求1所述的系统,其中所述变换模块选择性地防止在所述当前齿轮比和所述可能变速器齿轮比之间的差值大于预定值时的变换。
4.根据权利要求1所述的系统,其中所述组合识别模块进一步基于车辆速度来识别包括所述可能激活气缸数量和所述可能变速器齿轮比的所述第一组合。
5.根据权利要求1所述的系统,其中所述组合识别模块进一步基于发动机速度来识别包括所述可能激活气缸数量和所述可能变速器齿轮比的所述第一组合。
6.根据权利要求1所述的系统,其中所述加油估计模块:
基于所述目标激活气缸数量、所述当前齿轮比和所述转矩请求来确定所述第一燃料消耗;并且
基于所述可能激活气缸数量、所述可能变速器齿轮比和所述转矩请求来确定所述第二燃料消耗。
7.根据权利要求6所述的系统,其中所述加油估计模块基于车辆速度和发动机速度来确定所述第一燃料消耗和第二燃料消耗。
8.根据权利要求1所述的系统,其中所述加油估计模块使用将激活气缸数量和齿轮比与燃料消耗相关联的映射,来确定所述第一燃料消耗和第二燃料消耗。
9.根据权利要求1所述的系统,其中:
所述组合识别模块基于所述转矩请求进一步识别包括第二可能激活气缸数量和第二可能变速器齿轮比的第二组合;
以下至少之一:
所述第二可能激活气缸数量不同于所述目标激活气缸数量;和
所述第二可能变速器齿轮比不同于所述变速器的当前齿轮比;以及
以下至少之一:
所述第二可能激活气缸数量不同于所述可能激活气缸数量;和
所述第二可能变速器齿轮比不同于所述可能变速器齿轮比;并且
所述加油估计模块进一步针对所述第二可能激活气缸数量和所述第二可能变速器齿轮比来确定第三燃料消耗。
10.根据权利要求9所述的系统,其中,当所述第二燃料消耗也小于所述第三燃料消耗时,所述变换模块选择性地:
将所述目标激活气缸数量变换为所述可能激活气缸数量;和
将所述变速器的目标齿轮比变换为所述可能变速器齿轮比。
11.一种用于车辆的控制方法,包括:
基于转矩请求和变速器的当前齿轮比来确定发动机的目标激活气缸数量;
基于所述转矩请求,识别包括可能激活气缸数量和可能变速器齿轮比的第一组合,其中以下至少之一:
所述可能激活气缸数量不同于所述目标激活气缸数量;和
所述可能变速器齿轮比不同于所述变速器的当前齿轮比;
针对所述目标激活气缸数量和所述当前齿轮比来确定第一燃料消耗;
针对所述可能激活气缸数量和所述可能变速器齿轮比来确定第二燃料消耗;
当所述第二燃料消耗小于所述第一燃料消耗时,选择性地:
将所述目标激活气缸数量变换为所述可能激活气缸数量;和
将所述变速器的目标齿轮比变换为所述可能变速器齿轮比;以及
基于所述目标激活气缸数量来控制气缸激活和停用。
12.根据权利要求11所述的方法,还包括基于所述目标齿轮比控制所述变速器。
13.根据权利要求11所述的方法,还包括选择性地防止在所述当前齿轮比和所述可能变速器齿轮比之间的差值大于预定值时的变换。
14.根据权利要求11所述的方法,还包括进一步基于车辆速度来识别包括所述可能激活气缸数量和所述可能变速器齿轮比的所述第一组合。
15.根据权利要求11所述的方法,还包括进一步基于发动机速度来识别包括所述可能激活气缸数量和所述可能变速器齿轮比的所述第一组合。
16.根据权利要求11所述的方法,还包括:
基于所述目标激活气缸数量、所述当前齿轮比和所述转矩请求来确定所述第一燃料消耗;以及
基于所述可能激活气缸数量、所述可能变速器齿轮比和所述转矩请求来确定所述第二燃料消耗。
17.根据权利要求16所述的方法,还包括基于车辆速度和发动机速度来确定所述第一燃料消耗和第二燃料消耗。
18.根据权利要求11所述的方法,还包括使用将激活气缸数量和齿轮比与燃料消耗相关联的映射来确定所述第一燃料消耗和第二燃料消耗。
19.根据权利要求11所述的方法,还包括:
基于所述转矩请求识别包括第二可能激活气缸数量和第二可能变速器齿轮比的第二组合;
以下至少之一:
所述第二可能激活气缸数量不同于所述目标激活气缸数量;和
所述第二可能变速器齿轮比不同于所述变速器的当前齿轮比;以及
以下至少之一:
所述第二可能激活气缸数量不同于所述可能激活气缸数量;和
所述第二可能变速器齿轮比不同于所述可能变速器齿轮比;以及
针对所述第二可能激活气缸数量和所述第二可能变速器齿轮比来确定第三燃料消耗。
20.根据权利要求19所述的方法,还包括当所述第二燃料消耗也小于所述第三燃料消耗时选择性地:
将所述目标激活气缸数量变换为所述可能激活气缸数量;和
将所述变速器的目标齿轮比变换为所述可能变速器齿轮比。
