Description
本发明与糖果制品领域有关。特别是有关为将糖果制成特殊形状的糖果制品。
许多年来,糖果制品都通过模制,挤压或其他方法作成各种形状。例如泡泡糖制成的形状有如薄片,圆柱形,方块形,雪茄形,口嚼细丝形等等。一般都知道赋予诸如泡泡糖之类的糖果制品新颖的形状或形式,可提高产品的销售力,尤其对于年青的消费者。
本发明受授人过去已知的一种糖果制品形式为带卷形。据信形式为带卷的口香糖或其他糖果制品会受欢迎。尤其考虑到将口香糖制成带卷形,长度在三至六英尺之间,便于使用者按需要的大小掰断食用,而将其余部分留备以后使用。
但不幸过去一直都没有制造这种盘卷口香糖的实用方法。因为口香糖质地柔软,有展性,似橡胶,易溶化,难切断;所以过去都认为不能制造带卷形的口香糖。
简而言之,本发明是将糖果制成带卷形式的方法和设备。方法包括下列的步骤。首先,制成一个诸如泡泡糖的糖果制品的料团。将这料团制成薄而扁的大致矩形的片体。然后将扁片围绕其前缘卷卷。再将卷卷的扁片沿大致与其前缘垂直的平面切断。最后制成有予定宽度的带卷形式的各个糖果制品带卷。
本发明的设备包括将糖果制品团形成薄而扁的大致矩形片的设备。设备还包括将扁片围绕其前缘卷卷的装置,和将卷卷的扁片沿大致与其前端缘平面垂直的平面切断的装置。
在方法的理想实施方案中,糖果制品为泡泡糖。并且,泡泡糖片的切割,最好沿大致与前缘垂直的平面,将泡泡糖片划印。在片体卷筒后将卷盘沿刻划线断开,成为分别的盘卷。泡泡糖的带卷长度,最好在约三至六英尺。
在设备的理想实施方案中,形成糖果制品扁片的设备,基本为传统的口香糖盘卷刻划机,而对其横向刻划作修改。就是,将机器修改,使扁片在横向刻划时有需要的长长度,例如切成六英尺长的带形。
已证明本发明的优点,因发现经已提出一种制造过去不能取得的形状的糖果制品的实用装置,即糖果的带卷形状。尤其有利的是在将片体卷卷后才切成分别的带形。据发现将整片的糖果制品卷卷,比将分别的条带卷卷困难少。
本发明另有的优点是可通过将基本传统的口香糖卷卷刻划机作相当小的修改,而实施发明。

参看附图,图1示本发明的最理理想设备。如所示,设备11一般有装置13,形成糖果制品的矩形扁片。在所述的理想实施方案中,糖果制品扁片的生产,利用经过一方面修改的传统口香糖卷卷刻划机13。最理想的卷卷刻划机13,有如金佩尔制造公司(Gimpel Manufacturing Co.)出售者。WLS是另一家制造适当的口香糖卷卷刻划机的西德公司。凡能将糖果制品片卷卷或挤压的其他机器也都可使用。
机器13有放入糖果制品团料的输入口15。糖果制品最好是口香糖,但泡泡糖更好。否则也可用其他糖果制品,诸如太妃,脆糖块,或口嚼糖果等等。要求制品有足够的柔韧性,至少应在制造时如此,可以形成卷带。
有一组压辊17在糖果制品团上作用,形成相当薄的扁片。有一个撒粉装置19,在片上撒粉以减低附着作用。典型用淀粉作撒布剂。
矩形的糖果制品片最好在卷卷前,沿大致与前缘垂直的线条刻划。这纵向刻划用与传统条形口香糖相同的方法制作。就是当口香糖片在纵向刻线筒21下面通过时,在糖片上刻划。最理想的是使口香糖的纵向刻划的切余厚度约为0.010英寸。
或者可以不用制造扁片的装置在上面刻划。在这种方案中,用传统装置,诸如旋转刀片,钢丝等将卷卷的片分切成单个的卷盘。但是,由于将若干层的口香糖切割较有困难,所以用予刻划的方法明显有利。
在原来的机器中,辊子21的最外侧刀片用于将片体切齐,取得片体的理想宽度。最理想的片体宽度约为9 3/4 英寸,纵向刻线之间的宽度约为3/4英寸。这样便将片体切为13个条。
机器13的横向刻划操作经过修改。在传统的辊压刻划机器中,横向刻划辊筒23的设计,是将糖片切成一块要求长度的口香糖。然而在上述的实施方案中,横向切割辊23经修改,刻划的糖片长很多,例如达6英尺。为做到这点最理想是在未达到适当的切割时间前,将带横向刀片的辊子,保持在扁片的上方。
参看图2,为改变横向划线的增大量,将原来用于调节切辊23与扁片相对的垂直高度除去。然后传统机器中将辊子压迫使之与调节螺节螺丝接触的弹27,在扁片通过时,将切辊23完全推离扁片。
有作动装置,例如气压缸25,设在辊子两侧,用于在适当的时间将切辊子23下压,切成条片的适当长度。在上述的最理想方案中,气压缸在横向切割辊23每转四个完全周时作动。按这间隔切断扁片的长度为6英尺。在上述的方案中,在驱动切辊23的齿轮上设突出部(未示),提供气压辊作动信号。突出部用于冲撞开关。开关连接计算要求转周数的计数器,最好是4转周,然后将起动气压缸25的电磁阀作动。
横向切割的深度最好由轴颈组合件上的一点决定切辊23与切辊两侧的止动件的接触。目前,原有机器设计中止动件有适当的高度。否则,这些止动件可以螺丝之类取代,微调切割深度。最好横向的切余厚度约为0.002英寸。
糖片37通过辊23后,用运送带31输送。运送带31与传统使用者相似,不同之处为要求有承载糖片全长的长度。上述方案用于制造6英尺长的带形,所以运送带31至少应有7英尺。
与传统短片口香糖的制造设备相似,特意将运送带的线速度调到大于切辊的糖片输出的线速度。从切辊输出的糖片的线速度,最好约每分钟90英尺,而运送带的线速度约每分钟130英尺。于是运送器31在糖片37下滑动,直到在分离刷34下通过为止。分离刷为自由旋转圆柱形刷,在糖片上施适当的下压力,因此在这点上时,糖片紧靠下面的运送器31。这时将糖片用运送糖速度牵引,于是将糖片沿横向切割线拉断,获得卷带要求的长度。
现参看图3,4及5a-d,糖片前缘36通过分离刷34后,继续向转筒41前进。
转筒安装在围绕轴77转动的臂75上。双作用气压缸73在图1,4及5a-d所示的卷卷和图5e所示的输出两位置之间变动。有接近开关检测其下面扁片前缘36,产生信号供给气压缸73,将气压缸73促动,达到卷卷位置。一个定时器(未示)测量时间,在经过一定的时间后产生信号,将气压缸改变到输出位置。
转筒用电机和传动链(未示)驱动,转速最好在240和300转/每分钟之间。转筒表面最好用聚氨酯,表面粗糙,以增高转筒和待卷卷扁片间的摩擦。转筒直径最好约为4.375英寸。
有一个安装在臂46上的回弯板43与转筒关连。臂46绕轴48转动,使转筒41旋转。双作用气压缸71将回弯板在图1,4,5a及5b示的回卷位置和图5c及5d示的脱离位置之间移动。气压缸71与转筒相似,接受检测从下面通过的扁片前缘位置的接近开关产生的信号后,将气压缸71促动到回弯位置上。定时器(未示)测量一定的时间后产生信号,将气压缸71送到分离位置上。
最理想为回弯板43有一个特夫隆块44,在长度上切一个槽。槽的圆弧半径为0.375英寸。处于回卷位置上时,回弯板43的最低点约比运送器31的最高点高0.375英寸。
现对照图5a-5d解说本发明理想卷卷装置的运转。图5a示转筒41处于开始将扁片37绕其前缘36盘卷的位置。当前缘被运送器31推动与转筒41接触时,前缘向上移动。然后前缘接触回弯板43上的弧面,被向运送器31的逆向推动。如图5a及5b所示,当运送器及转筒继续推送扁片时,将扁片围绕其前缘36盘卷。
如图5c所示,将扁片开始盘卷经过适当时间后,回弯板43改变到分离位置上。这点很重要,因为盘卷的最后直径,终将过大而不能放在运送器与回弯板之间。最好回弯板在0.2秒钟后退后,这是扁片卷3或4圈的典型所用时间。
回弯板退回后,由于运送器及转筒的活动,扁片继续盘卷。最后将扁片完全卷成一卷38。最好每6英尺扁片约卷17圈。当然较短的扁片的圈数较少。在上述实施方案的速度下,盘卷一段扁片约需2.75秒。
如图5d所示,卷卷完成后将滚筒向后拉到输出位置上,使完成的卷盘38可在运送器端部和滚筒之间,下落到下面的托盘81中。最好将托盘斜放,使完成的卷盘滚到落点以外。一旦托盘盛满即将托盘移开,插入另一托盘,接受以后的卷盘。
图6示完成的盘卷38。如图示,将扁片卷沿线42刻划。已发现在将扁片这样予刻划后,易于将糖果制品分为分别的盘卷。目前理想用手工分离。但也可设计装置进行这工作。
图7示按本发明制成的带卷形式的糖果制品的一个卷盘39。最好带长在约1至12英尺之间,更好约在6英尺与6英尺2英寸之间,而以6英尺最理想。
在理想实施方案中,在横向刻划扁片时,仅将其切成需要的长度。在其他实施方案中,还将扁片作横向刻划,便利使用人从糖果制品上掰下予定的长度。例如,可将扁片在1至4英寸处刻划。当然这种补充横向刻划,深度小于将扁片分段的主横向刻划线。
卷盘39的宽度最好与传统的口香糖的宽度相同,即约0.75英寸。此外宽度也可在约0.25英寸至2英寸之间变化。
在另一方案中,在卷卷前先在糖果制品上用食品颜料印刷。具体可将印刷装置设置在卷卷刻划机13和辊压装置之间。例如,这种印刷装置可用于印刷量度标志,如卷尺上所常见者。还可以印刷其他类型的新颖图案。
在另一实施方案中,可在扁片上压凹印,制作图案及标志。具体为在卷卷前,在糖果制品扁片上用板或轮压图案。
图7A示本发明糖果制品的理想包装。包装为带盖93的相对扁的圆柱形筒91。也可用其他形式的包装,诸如较复杂的塑料盒,带翅片的密封透明膜袋或小盒。
在本发明的理想方法中,形成带卷的糖果制品为泡泡糖类。进行本发明的方法时泡泡糖的具体配方并不重要。一般而言,泡泡糖配方应提供足够的柔性和可塑性,以便将泡泡糖卷卷。并且应选定泡泡糖的配方,包括撒粉的类型和用量,以免在卷盘,包装或贮藏时泡泡糖互相粘连。
理想泡泡糖配方举例如下(百分比按重量计算):
基础胶质 20%
糖粉 67.5%
葡萄糖 8%
甘油 3%
香料 1%
卵磷脂 0.5%
糖果制品是一种口香糖,例如薄荷味或肉桂味口香糖。并也可用其他糖果,如太妃,脆糖块,或口嚼糖果。
应注意虽然大部分讨论涉及到泡泡糖的生产,但其他类型的口香糖和糖果制品也都在本发明范围内。并且,虽然以修改现有的口香糖卷卷刻划机为理想,但也可用其他制造糖果制品扁片的装置。当然这些修改和属于领域中一般知识的修改,都被认为属于文后权利要求书中界定本发明范围内。
Claims (17)
1、将糖果制品形成带卷的一种方法,其特征在于包括下列步骤:
制作糖果制品的料团;
将该料团形成有前缘的大致矩形的扁平片体;
将该扁片围绕该前缘盘卷;
在大致与该前缘垂直的平面中切割该盘卷扁片,从而制成有予定宽度,形式为带卷的该糖果制品的若干卷盘。
2、如权利要求1中之方法,而特征为糖果制品为一种口香糖。
3、如权利要求1中之方法,而特征为该切割步骤中包括在将该扁片卷卷前,将糖果制品的扁片沿大致与该前缘垂直的刻划线刻划,将该扁片卷卷后,将该卷卷扁片沿该刻划线分离,产生若干有予定宽度的、形式为卷盘的该糖果制品的分卷。
4、如权利要求1,2或3中之方法,而特征为该卷卷步骤包括将该扁片向一个转筒推送,从而当该前缘与该转筒接触,并且当将该扁片继续向该转筒推送时,使扁片卷绕前缘。

将该卷筒扁片沿刻划线分开,从而产生若干有予定宽度的带卷形的口香糖分别带卷。
10、如权利要求6之方法,而特征为该卷卷步骤包括前缘初步与转筒接触后,与一个回弯板装置接触,使该前缘改变方向,从而将扁片初步卷卷。
11、将糖果制品形成带卷的设备,其特征在于有下列各项:
将该材料团形成大致矩形、有前缘的扁平薄片的装置;
将该扁片围绕该前缘卷卷的装置;
有装置将该扁片沿大致与该前缘垂直的平面切割,从而产生该糖果制品的有予定宽度的带卷形分别带盘。

15、如权利要求13之设备,而特征为该卷卷装置另有运送带,将该扁片向该转筒移动,该转筒在卷卷和输出两个位置之间变化,在卷卷位置上时卷绕扁片,在输出位置上时,使带卷可在运送带和转筒之间下落。
16、如权利要求15中之设备,而特征为该卷卷装置另有一个回弯板装置,在初步和转筒接触后再与前缘接触,使该前缘改变方向上,促使扁片卷卷。
17、如权利要求16中之设备,而特征为另有装置将回弯板在回卷位置和分离位置之间变动。
