Abstract
本发明的目的在于提供一种用于制造叠层陶瓷部件的溶剂或溶剂组合物,该溶剂或溶剂组合物可使乙基纤维素等粘合剂树脂的粘合剂性能得以充分发挥,能够在不对被涂布面构件产生侵蚀的情况下高精度地形成微细图案或薄膜,并且易于进行蒸发干燥,可使叠层陶瓷部件的生产效率得到显著提高。本发明的用于制造叠层陶瓷部件的溶剂或溶剂组合物含有选自烷撑二醇二烷基醚(末端醚链非对称)、二烷撑二醇二烷基醚(末端醚链非对称)及乳酸烷基酯乙酸酯中的至少1种。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及一种用于制造叠层陶瓷部件的溶剂或溶剂组合物,该溶剂或溶剂组合物包含于糊料中,在叠层陶瓷部件制造步骤中,通过将所述糊料涂布在具有被涂布面的构件(以下也称为“被涂布面构件”)上,可形成布线或涂膜。
背景技术
作为叠层陶瓷部件,已知有电容器、感应器、变阻器、热敏电阻、扬声器、驱动器、天线、固体氧化物燃料电池(SOFC)等。这些部件通过将陶瓷层或由陶瓷层与导体层构成的薄层叠合而形成。电容器、感应器、变阻器、热敏电阻、扬声器、驱动器、天线主要通过将陶瓷层与导体层组合并层压而形成,而固体氧化物燃料电池(SOFC)主要是通过仅层叠多层陶瓷层而得到的部件。
作为层叠陶瓷层等薄层的方法,已知有下述方法:重复进行在经过烧制的层上涂布用于形成布线或涂膜的糊料并进行烧制的步骤的方法(连续烧制方法);或者,通过重复进行用于形成布线或涂膜的糊料的涂布、干燥来形成叠层片,然后再进行一次性烧制的方法,或通过进一步将上述叠层片叠合并压合来实现高叠层化,然后再进行一次性烧制的方法等一次性烧制方法。在上述叠层方法中,从生产性优异、可缩减成本方面考虑,常用的是在实施烧制处理之前进行多层叠层,然后再进行一次性烧制的方法(一次性烧制方法)。
作为叠层陶瓷部件的一例,叠层陶瓷电容器一般经由下述步骤制造。
1:将陶瓷粉末分散于聚乙烯醇缩丁醛等聚乙烯醇缩醛树脂或丙烯酸树脂等粘合剂树脂和溶剂中制成浆料,形成为片状而获得生片(greensheet)。
2:通过网版印刷法等将以镍、钯等导电性金属材料、乙基纤维素及萜品醇等有机溶剂为主成分的导体糊涂布在生片上,以形成布线或涂膜。
3:使上述导体糊中的有机溶剂干燥。
4:将形成有布线或涂膜的生片切割成指定尺寸后,将多片层叠在一起进行热压合,来制作叠层体。
5:在该叠层体上安装电极等,进行高温烧制,从而获得叠层陶瓷电容器。
上述步骤中,在生片上涂布导体糊时,有时会发生导体糊中的有机溶剂将生片中所含的粘合剂树脂溶解的现象。这一现象被称为片侵蚀现象。片侵蚀现象会导致叠层陶瓷电容器的陶瓷层产生孔或褶皱,是造成布线或涂膜形成不良、短路等而引发成品率降低的原因。
上述问题在利用一次性烧制方法制造的其它叠层陶瓷部件中也同样存在。以往,由于各层的膜厚较厚,因此对被涂布面构件造成侵蚀的问题并不明显。但近年来,伴随叠层陶瓷部件的高性能化、小型化,对于用以构成装置的导体层、陶瓷层提出了薄层化的要求,这样一来,对被涂布面构件的侵蚀也逐渐凸显出来。
作为抑制对被涂布面构件的侵蚀的方法,已研究了多种对用于形成布线或涂膜的糊料中使用的有机溶剂加以改善的方法。例如,专利文献1、2中公开了使用萜品醇氢化物、萜品醇的乙酸酯或萜品醇氢化物的乙酸酯作为有机溶剂的方法。但是,仅通过使用上述有机溶剂很难完全防止对被涂布面构件的侵蚀,并且对于作为构成被涂布面构件的粘合剂树脂所常用的聚乙烯醇缩丁醛树脂而言,还必须选择使用缩丁醛化度低的树脂。另外,当使用乙基纤维素作为用于形成布线或涂膜的糊料的粘合剂树脂时,由于乙基纤维素的溶解性低,上述糊料的经时粘度变化大,在印刷时存在容易引发不良的问题。
此外,专利文献3中公开了使用己酸乙酯、乙酸2-乙基己酯等作为在用于形成布线或涂膜的糊料中使用的有机溶剂的方法。但由于己酸乙酯、乙酸2-乙基己酯等有机溶剂对被涂布面构件中所含的粘合剂树脂的溶解性因干燥工序中的温度升高而增大,因此存在无法有效防止对被涂布面构件的侵蚀的问题。
专利文献4中公开了通过使用下述溶剂组合物作为在用于形成布线或涂膜的糊料中使用的有机溶剂来防止对被涂布面构件的侵蚀的的发明,其中,所述溶剂组合物以对聚乙烯醇缩丁醛等聚乙烯醇缩醛树脂或丙烯酸树脂等粘合剂树脂、以及乙基纤维素显示不溶性、且具有接近于能够在制造工序中使用的温度范围的上限的沸点的甘油三乙酸酯(沸点:260℃)作为主体,并以特定比例向其中添加对乙基纤维素显示可溶性并且低沸点的有机溶剂。但是,已发现了下述问题:在涂布含有该溶剂组合物的糊料之后进行常压加热干燥时,需要进行长时间加热,但经过长时间加热,会导致以聚乙烯醇缩醛树脂为粘合剂树脂的叠层片发生软化、变形。另外,近年来,存在使叠层陶瓷部件中每1层的厚度变薄而增加叠层数的倾向,但也已被指出了存在下述问题:如果对每1层施以与以往相同的干燥时间,则会延长制造每个叠层陶瓷部件所需的时间,这样将会导致生产效率降低。由此,谋求一种在将用于形成布线或涂膜的糊料涂布在被涂布面构件上时无需蒸发、能够在低温干燥条件(例如,40~100℃)下短时间内蒸发掉的溶剂,但对于专利文献4所记载的溶剂组合物而言,由于含有大量在上述低温干燥条件下蒸发速度慢的甘油三乙酸酯,因而很难实现在低温条件下干燥时间的缩短。

发明内容
发明要解决的问题
综上,本发明的目的在于提供一种用于制造叠层陶瓷部件的溶剂或溶剂组合物,该溶剂或溶剂组合物可使乙基纤维素等粘合剂树脂的粘合剂性能得以充分发挥,能够在不对被涂布面构件产生侵蚀的情况下高精度地形成微细图案或薄膜,并且易于进行蒸发干燥,可使叠层陶瓷部件的生产效率得到显著提高。
解决问题的方法
本发明人等为解决上述问题而进行了深入研究,结果发现,当使用对乙基纤维素的溶解性高、且对具有各种丁缩醛化度的聚乙烯醇缩醛树脂显示出不溶性的溶剂或溶剂组合物作为用于制造叠层陶瓷部件的溶剂或溶剂组合物时,即,当使用对乙基纤维素和聚乙烯醇缩醛树脂的溶解性达到良好平衡、且选自沸点不是很高的烷撑二醇二烷基醚(末端醚链非对称)、二烷撑二醇二烷基醚(末端醚链非对称)及乳酸烷基酯乙酸酯(lacticacidalkylacetate)中的至少1种作为用于制造叠层陶瓷部件的溶剂或溶剂组合物时,能够在以高精度形成微细图案或薄膜、防止对被涂布面构件产生侵蚀的同时缩短蒸发干燥所需要的时间,从而可防止叠层片发生软化、变形,显著提高叠层陶瓷部件的制造效率。本发明基于上述发现而完成。
即,本发明提供一种用于制造叠层陶瓷部件的溶剂或溶剂组合物,该溶剂或溶剂组合物中含有选自烷撑二醇二烷基醚(末端醚链非对称)、二烷撑二醇二烷基醚(末端醚链非对称)及乳酸烷基酯乙酸酯中的至少1种。
其中,作为本发明的用于制造叠层陶瓷部件的溶剂或溶剂组合物,优选含有选自丙二醇甲基丙基醚、丙二醇丁基甲基醚、丙二醇甲基戊基醚、二丙二醇甲基丙基醚、二丙二醇丁基甲基醚、二丙二醇甲基戊基醚及乳酸乙酯乙酸酯中的至少1种。
作为叠层陶瓷部件,优选叠层陶瓷电容器。
发明的效果
由于本发明的用于制造叠层陶瓷部件的溶剂或溶剂组合物中含有选自烷撑二醇二烷基醚(末端醚链非对称)、二烷撑二醇二烷基醚(末端醚链非对称)及乳酸烷基酯乙酸酯中的至少1种,而这些溶剂具有对于在形成被涂布面构件时作为粘合剂树脂使用的对聚乙烯醇缩丁醛等聚乙烯醇缩醛树脂等不溶、而对于在用于形成布线或涂膜的糊料中作为粘合剂树脂使用的乙基纤维素等溶解的性质,因此,通过将镍、钯等导电性金属材料、陶瓷材料和乙基纤维素等粘合剂树脂混合而得到的用于形成布线或涂膜的糊料,可高精度地形成微细图案或涂膜,能够与布线图案或薄膜的微细化、高密度布线化相适应。并且,能够发挥出对于被涂布面构件的侵蚀的优异的抑制或防止效果。此外,烷撑二醇二烷基醚(末端醚链非对称)、二烷撑二醇二烷基醚(末端醚链非对称)及乳酸烷基酯乙酸酯在低温条件下也可以迅速干燥,从而可缩短干燥时间。由此,能够防止在加热干燥工序中发生叠层片的软化、变形,从而使叠层陶瓷部件的制造效率显著提高。
具体实施方式
本发明的用于制造叠层陶瓷部件的溶剂或溶剂组合物的特征在于:含有选自烷撑二醇二烷基醚(末端醚链非对称)、二烷撑二醇二烷基醚(末端醚链非对称)及乳酸烷基酯乙酸酯中的至少1种。需要说明的是,本发明的用于制造叠层陶瓷部件的溶剂或溶剂组合物中无须混合甘油三乙酸酯,即使混合,也优选其混合量低于1重量%。
本发明的用于制造叠层陶瓷部件的溶剂或溶剂组合物中选自烷撑二醇二烷基醚(末端醚链非对称)、二烷撑二醇二烷基醚(末端醚链非对称)及乳酸烷基酯乙酸酯中的至少1种的含量(对于含有2种以上的情况,为它们的总含量)为例如50重量%以上,其中,优选为80重量%以上,尤其优选为90重量%以上,最优选为95重量%以上。
作为烷撑二醇二烷基醚(末端醚链非对称),可列举例如:乙二醇乙基甲基醚、乙二醇甲基丙基醚、乙二醇丁基甲基醚、乙二醇甲基戊基醚、乙二醇乙基丙基醚、乙二醇丁基乙基醚、乙二醇乙基戊基醚、乙二醇丁基丙基醚、乙二醇戊基丙基醚、乙二醇丁基戊基醚等末端醚链部分不同的乙二醇二烷基醚(直链、支链不同时也作为不同种类);丙二醇乙基甲基醚、丙二醇甲基丙基醚、丙二醇丁基甲基醚、丙二醇甲基戊基醚、丙二醇乙基丙基醚、丙二醇丁基乙基醚、丙二醇乙基戊基醚、丙二醇丁基丙基醚、丙二醇戊基丙基醚、丙二醇丁基戊基醚等末端醚链部分不同的丙二醇二烷基醚(直链、支链不同时也作为不同种类)(还包括异构体)等。其中,优选使用丙二醇甲基丙基醚、丙二醇丁基甲基醚、丙二醇甲基戊基醚。

作为乳酸烷基酯乙酸酯,其中的烷基可以是直链烷基或支链烷基中的任意烷基,可列举例如乳酸甲酯乙酸酯、乳酸乙酯乙酸酯、乳酸丙酯乙酸酯、乳酸异丙酯乙酸酯、乳酸丁酯乙酸酯、乳酸叔丁酯乙酸酯等。在本发明中,优选使用上述中的乳酸乙酯乙酸酯。
作为本发明的烷撑二醇二烷基醚(末端醚链非对称)、二烷撑二醇二烷基醚(末端醚链非对称)及乳酸烷基酯乙酸酯,其中,优选沸点为125℃~250℃的物质。如果沸点高于上述范围,则存在难以在低温条件下迅速使其干燥的倾向,另一方面,如果沸点低于上述范围,则在配制用于形成布线或涂膜的糊料时或涂布时会发生溶剂的挥发,可能导致组成发生变化,这样一来,存在难以稳定地形成布线或涂膜的倾向。
此外,在本发明中,除了上述烷撑二醇二烷基醚(末端醚链非对称)、二烷撑二醇二烷基醚(末端醚链非对称)及乳酸烷基酯乙酸酯以外,还可以添加其它溶剂。只要在不破坏其效果的范围内,可以添加其它有机溶剂、添加剂,可以根据用途不同对物性进行调整。作为可添加的溶剂,可列举例如环烷基醇、乙酸环烷基酯、烷撑二醇、烷撑二醇二乙酸酯、烷撑二醇单烷基醚;除此之外,还可列举烷撑二醇二烷基醚、烷撑二醇单烷基醚乙酸酯、二烷撑二醇单烷基醚;除此之外,还可列举二烷撑二醇二烷基醚、二烷撑二醇单烷基醚乙酸酯、三烷撑二醇单烷基醚、三烷撑二醇单烷基醚乙酸酯、3-甲氧基丁醇、3-甲氧基丁醇乙酸酯、四氢糠醇、四氢糠醇乙酸酯、萜烯类化合物及其衍生物等。
作为环烷基醇,可列举例如:环己醇、环戊醇、环辛醇、甲基环己醇、乙基环己醇、丙基环己醇、异丙基环己醇、丁基环己醇、异丁基环己醇、仲丁基环己醇、叔丁基环己醇、戊基环己醇等具有C1-5烷基等取代基的环烷基醇;3元~15元环烷基醇等。
作为乙酸环烷基酯,可列举例如:乙酸环己酯、乙酸环戊酯、乙酸环辛酯、乙酸甲基环己酯、乙酸乙基环己酯、乙酸丙基环己酯、乙酸异丙基环己酯、乙酸丁基环己酯、乙酸异丁基环己酯、乙酸仲丁基环己酯、乙酸叔丁基环己酯、乙酸戊基环己酯等具有C1-5烷基等取代基的乙酸环烷基酯;乙酸3元~15元环烷基酯等。
作为烷撑二醇,可列举例如:乙二醇、丙二醇、1,3-丙二醇、1,3-丁二醇、1,4-丁二醇、1,5-戊二醇、1,6-己二醇等。
作为烷撑二醇二乙酸酯,可列举例如:乙二醇二乙酸酯、丙二醇二乙酸酯、1,3-丙二醇二乙酸酯、1,3-丁二醇二乙酸酯、1,4-丁二醇二乙酸酯、1,5-戊二醇二乙酸酯、1,6-己二醇二乙酸酯等。

作为萜烯类化合物及其衍生物,可列举例如:萜品醇、萜品醇乙酸酯、二氢萜品醇、乙酸二氢松油酯、丙酸二氢松油酯、1,8-萜二烯、薄荷烷、薄荷醇等。
本发明的用于制造叠层陶瓷部件的溶剂或溶剂组合物通过具有上述构成,可使乙基纤维素等粘合剂树脂的粘合剂性能得以充分发挥,能够在不对被涂布面构件产生侵蚀的情况下高精度地形成微细图案或薄膜,并且易于进行蒸发干燥,可使叠层陶瓷部件的生产效率得到显著提高。本发明的用于制造叠层陶瓷部件的溶剂或溶剂组合物适于作为用于制造例如电容器、感应器、变阻器、热敏电阻、扬声器、驱动器、天线、固体氧化物燃料电池(SOFC)等叠层陶瓷部件(特别是叠层陶瓷电容器)的溶剂或溶剂组合物使用。

在下述表1记载的溶剂中添加作为聚乙烯醇缩丁醛树脂的“S-RECBL-S”(商品名,积水化学(株)制造)、“S-RECBL-1”(商品名,积水化学(株)制造)、“S-RECBH-3”(商品名,积水化学(株)制造)、以及作为乙基纤维素的“ETHOCELSTD”(商品名,DowChemical公司制造),使这些树脂的浓度分别达到5重量%,在液温65℃下进行3小时加热溶解后,自然冷却。
[评价]
在实施例及比较例中,对在液温65℃下进行3小时加热溶解操作时(下表中,记作“65℃”)、以及其后在室温(25℃)下自然冷却时(下表中,记作“室温”),用肉眼观察各树脂相对于各溶剂是否显示溶解性,并利用下述标准进行评价,同时,根据下述标准对各溶剂的溶剂性能进行综合评价。
<树脂溶解性的评价标准>
◎:树脂全部溶解;
○:树脂基本溶解;
△:树脂部分溶解;
×:树脂不溶解。
<溶剂的溶剂性能的评价标准>
对“S-RECBL-S”、“S-RECBL-1”、“S-RECBH-3”中的任意树脂在室温(25℃)下显示出不溶性(△或×),并且将“ETHOCELSTD”全部溶解(◎)的溶剂:○(不易发生片侵蚀现象,并能够使乙基纤维素的粘合剂性能得以发挥);
除上述情况以外的其它溶剂:×。

Claims (1)
1.溶剂或溶剂组合物的用于叠层陶瓷部件制造步骤中的于叠层陶瓷层形成布线或涂膜的糊料的用途,该溶剂或溶剂组合物含有选自丙二醇二烷基醚、二丙二醇二烷基醚及乳酸烷基酯乙酸酯中的至少1种,所述丙二醇二烷基醚以及二丙二醇二烷基醚是末端醚链非对称的。
