Abstract

一般,包括汽车和卡车在内的机动车辆都具有联接到至少传动系和差速器的内燃发动机以便向车辆的从动轮提供动力。发动机附连有通常包括排气管、催化转化器、消声器以及尾管的发动机排气系统以使燃烧过程没有噪音、净化排气以及将燃烧产物从发动机排出。排气系统由排气管支架或隔离器支撑,排气管支架或隔离器定位于排气系统与车身的框架、下体或其它一些支撑结构之间。为了防止发动机的运动和/或振动传递到车体,排气管支架或隔离器结合有柔性安装构件或弹性悬架构件以将车体与排气系统隔离。
代表性的现有技术的排气管支架或隔离器包括附连到车辆的框架或其它车体支撑结构的上吊架。上吊架从支撑结构延伸成将弹性隔离器定位在适当位置以保持下吊架,下吊架从弹性隔离器延伸至排气系统的部件之一。弹性隔离器固定在上吊架与下吊架之间的特定位置上。一般,上吊架包括诸如冲压支架、螺栓、焊接式框架螺母、插夹式框架螺母和/或成形杆的组装硬件,这些组装件用于将上支架固定到框架或其它支撑结构和将弹性隔离器固定到上支架。这些硬件增加成本和车辆的构造及组装所需的碳量。
发明内容
本公开描述了一种直接安装到车辆的框架或其它车体支撑结构的发动机支架或隔离器。排气管支架或隔离器的直接附连消除了对上支架及所有相关联硬件的需要。排气管支架或隔离器能够直接装配到形成在支撑结构中的孔内。排气管支架或隔离器的弹性部分包括孔,孔保持附连到排气系统部件的支撑杆或下吊架。支撑杆或下吊架可形成为将排气系统的部件定位在期望位置。

具体实施方式
以下描述仅仅是示例性的而并非意在限制本发明的范围、应用或使用。图1示出了根据本公开的排气管安装系统,该排气管安装系统整体上由附图标记10指示。排气管安装系统10将排气系统12附连到车辆的支撑结构14。车辆包括内燃机(未示出)、非簧载质量以及簧载质量,非簧载质量包括车轮和悬架系统(未示出),簧载质量包括由支撑结构14支撑的车体(未示出)。排气系统12连接到车辆发动机并将发动机的燃烧产物排至车辆尾部。内燃发动机通过传动系(未示出)和差速器(未示出)给车辆的车轮提供动力。
排气系统12包括中间管22、消声器24、尾管26以及多个排气管隔离组件30。中间管22通常连接到催化转化器(未示出),催化转化器连接到排气管(未示出),排气管再连接到作为车辆内燃发动机的部件之一的排气歧管(未示出)。催化转化器可连接到通往单个排气歧管的单个排气管,或者可附连到通往多个排气歧管的分支的排气管。同样,中间管22可连接到多个催化转化器,这些催化转化器在通过分支的中间管22到达消声器24之前连接到一起,或者车辆可具有多个排气歧管,多个排气歧管连接到多个排气管,多个排气管连接到多个催化转化器,多个催化转化器连接到多个中间管,多个中间管连接到多个消音器,多个消音器再连接到多个排气管。本公开适用于上述排气系统以及现有技术中已知的其它任何排气系统。
利用排气系统12将废气从车辆的发动机排至车辆的尾部区域。废气在经排气系统12从发动机行至车辆尾部的同时被催化净化器进化,并且消声器24消除与车辆发动机的燃烧过程相关联的噪音。排气管隔离组件30设置用以支撑车辆下面的排气系统12并用来防止发动机的运动和振动传至车体。此外,在排气系统12的组装期间以及车辆运行期间,排气管隔离组件30使排气系统12具有正确的定位和对齐。
现在参见图2至图5,排气管隔离组件30包括外壳或套管40、弹性隔离件42、排气杆44以及内部套管46。外壳或套管40以及内部套管46均为拉制钢套管、塑料套管或现有技术中已知的其它任何类型的套管。外壳或套管40包括凸缘50,凸缘50有助于将外壳或套管40挤压装配或组装到车辆中。外壳或套筒40设计成挤压装配到由车辆的支撑结构14(如图1和图2所示的横向构件)所限定的孔口52中。外壳或套管40直接挤压装配到支撑件14所限定的孔口52中免除了与安装现有技术的排气管隔离器相关联的常规硬件。外壳或套管40可通过机械、液压或气动的方式挤压到孔口52中。这种挤压配合操作可在车辆组装期间、支撑结构14的制造期间或便于车辆制造者的任何时间进行。尽管外壳或套管40示为圆筒状,但是外壳或套管40为车辆制造商所期望的任何形状也属于本发明的范围。
弹性隔离件42通过挤压配合,化学粘结设置在外壳或套管40内,或通过现有技术中已知的其它任何装置固定到外壳或套管40。弹性隔离件42可由硅树脂(一般应用于高温)、EPDM(乙撑丙二烯单体)(一般应用于中温)、天然橡胶(一般应用于低温)或满足应用要求的其它任何弹性材料形成。内部套管46通常模制在弹性隔离件42中。弹性隔离件42限定出多个空洞56,这些空洞的大小、形状以及位置设计成控制排气管隔离组件30的动态速率、插入力、系统耐用性要求以及其它改进特性和工作特性。弹性隔离件42限定有通孔58,在安装排气系统12的过程中排气杆44经通孔58插入。
排气杆44为可包括复合弯部的成形杆,使得第一端部60定位成沿轴向接合孔58,而第二端部62设计成与排气系统12的部件配合并固定到所述部件。如图所示,每个排气管隔离组件30都采用不同的排气杆44,但是采用该具体应用的设计所允许的数量的相同的排气杆44属于本发明的范围。同样,每个排气杆44均设计成使得沿轴向接合相应孔58的各个第一端部60均设计成沿车辆的前后方向接合其相应的孔58。所有排气杆44的这种前/后布置简化了排气系统12往车辆10中的组装。
一般,排气杆44都将附连到其在排气系统12的相应部件。排气系统12正确定位在车辆下面,并且每个排气杆44均单独或同时地与其相应的孔58对齐。排气杆44插入孔58中以完成排气系统12往车辆上的组装。所有支撑杆44的前/后布置简化了该组装过程。在每个排气杆44的端部上均形成有环形倒钩66以防止排气杆44脱离其相应的孔58。
现在参见图6和图7,示出了根据本公开另一实施方式的排气管隔离组件130。排气管隔离组件130包括弹性隔离件142和排气杆44。除弹性隔离件142设计成直接固定到支撑结构14之外,弹性隔离件142与弹性隔离件42相同,因此消除对外壳或套管40的需要。
弹性隔离件142设置在孔口52内。弹性隔离件142包括内部套管46并限定出与形成孔口52的周围结构相配的环形槽160。弹性隔离件42可装配在孔口52内、挤压装配在孔口52内、化学粘结到支撑结构14或通过现有技术中已知的其它任何方式固定到支撑结构14。弹性隔离件142可由硅树脂(一般应用于高温)、EPDM(乙撑丙二烯单体)(一般应用于中温)、天然橡胶(一般应用于低温)或满足应用要求的其它任何弹性材料形成。弹性隔离件142限定出多个空洞56,这些空洞的大小、形状以及位置设计成控制排气管隔离组件130的动态速率、插入力、系统耐用性要求以及其它改进特性和工作特性。弹性隔离件142限定有通孔58,在安装排气系统12的过程中排气杆44经通孔58插入。
排气管隔离组件130能够替代排气管隔离组件30用于支撑排气系统12的任一或所有位置处。排气管隔离组件30的上述性能和优点同样都适用于排气管隔离组件130。
Claims (9)
1.一种与用于车辆车体的支撑结构和车辆的排气系统组合的隔离器,所述隔离器包括:
弹性隔离件;以及
排气杆,所述排气杆在第一端部处连接到所述弹性隔离件,所述排气杆的第二端部附连到所述排气系统的部件,
其特征在于,所述弹性隔离件设置在由所述支撑结构的平坦的壁所限定的封闭孔口内。
2.如权利要求1所述隔离器,其中,所述弹性隔离件限定有在其内设置所述杆的孔。
3.如权利要求2所述的隔离器,其中,所述弹性隔离件包括限定出所述孔的中心部、接合所述支撑结构的外部以及设置在所述中心部与所述外部之间的多个空洞。
4.如权利要求1所述的隔离器,所述隔离器还包括设置在所述弹性隔离件与所述支撑结构之间的外壳。
5.如权利要求4所述的隔离器,其中,所述弹性隔离件限定有在其内设置所述杆的孔。
6.如权利要求5所述的隔离器,其中,所述弹性隔离件包括限定出所述孔的中心部、接合所述外壳的外部以及设置在所述中心部与所述外部之间的多个空洞。
7.如权利要求1所述的隔离器,其中,所述支撑结构为横向构件。
8.如权利要求1所述的隔离器,其中,所述封闭孔口由所述支撑结构的单个部件的封闭的圆周边缘限定。
9.如权利要求1所述的隔离器,其中,所述弹性隔离件为圆筒体,且所述封闭孔口为封闭的圆形孔口。
