Abstract

印刷机控制系统

发明背景
[002]共有的2005年6月9日的加拿大专利申请第2,509,608号和2006年11月30日的加拿大专利申请第2,528,420号,描述了水性可印刷电导体(aqueous printable electrical conductor),其可被印刷在基底上用作RFID(射频识别)天线和其它用途。导体形成可用于这类天线的电痕迹或者电迹线(electrical trace),应用于印刷的医学、化学和生物学传感器;应用于印刷的触摸板;和应用于其它相关仪器。其中这类印刷的导体被连接到CPU(芯片)上,如在RFID标签的情况下;因为经济的原因,希望在连接到芯片之前,可知道是否印刷导体的电特性在可接受的范围内。因为芯片一般在高速印刷过程中是被在线连接的(attached in-line),所以对印刷导体的评估和反馈必须是快速的。
发明概述

[007]与上述过程同时,ICC 12也比较天线电阻数据和预编程的数据,将电阻数据与油墨性质、网纹辊(anilox roll)表面、温度、湿度、关闭或打开的印刷墨斗以及印刷机上使用的干燥器的类型相关联。如果油墨质量需要调节,将该信息送到油墨调节泵(Ink Conditioning Pump(ICP))18。然后ICP 18从油墨调节(IC)容器20将适当量的油墨调节剂(Ink Conditioning Agent)泵入预混容器(Pre-mix Reservoir)22,从该容器将油墨调节剂泵入印刷机油墨循环系统(press Ink CirculationSystem)24。调节器(conditioner)可改变油墨的不同质量或特性,其中待被改变的一个基本特性是油墨粘度。印刷机油墨循环系统24将油墨通过预混容器22循环,以提供油墨供应的均匀性。当油墨流过印刷机管线时,该再循环系统保持油墨质量在设计参数内,该循环系统也考虑到异常油墨用量,这确保可获得用于印刷机的有效操作的适当油墨体积。

[009]油墨调节泵(Ink Conditioning Pump)18、油墨调节剂容器(Ink Conditioning Agent Reservoir)20和预混容器(Pre-mix Reservoir)22组成可更换的墨盒(replaceable cartridge)30,按需要可将该墨盒插入印刷机。墨盒30是分离的、不可再利用的制品,其使印刷机操作员产生高质量的印刷油墨痕迹或者迹线(printed ink traces),而不需理解导电墨复杂的化学性质。操作员仅需要当旧的墨盒已经完成了它的目标后,插入新的墨盒。墨盒的成分都由油墨制造商调节,以最优化任何具体印刷机和印刷操作的性能。

Claims (23)

1.控制印刷机操作的系统,被用来将水性可印刷导电墨施用到基底上,以在该基底上产生该油墨的导电迹线,包括:
探针工具,用于接触所述电迹线并用于从那里获得电阻量度;
计算机工具,用于接收该电阻量度,将该量度与预选择数据相比较,使电阻与就此类迹线可接受的预先确定的性能标准相关联,确定是否该电阻量度表明可接受的性能,以及给选择工具传输信号,所述选择工具用于鉴别那些没有满足可接受性能标准的电迹线;和
与所述印刷机相关的工具,用来:在进一步处理之前,从所述印刷机中排除其上具有不可接受电迹线的基底。
2.根据权利要求1所述的系统,其中所述电迹线包括RFID天线;印刷的医学、化学和生物学传感器;印刷的触摸板和相关仪器。
3.根据权利要求1或权利要求2所述的系统,其中所述探针工具是在沿印刷线的预先确定的点上接触所述电迹线,其中所述迹线足够干燥,以致它们将不会通过与所述探针工具接触而被损坏。
4.根据权利要求1到3的任一项所述的系统,其中所述排除工具包括用来防止不可接受的电迹线连接到芯片上的工具。
5.根据权利要求1到4的任一项所述的系统,包括印刷工具,该印刷工具在所述印刷过程中,用于将包括但不限于序号和电阻量度的信息施用到可接受基底上,以方便接下来的存货清单控制和质量保证过程。
6.根据权利要求1到5的任一项所述的系统,其中,在将所述的电阻量度与预先选定的数据进行对比之后,所述计算机工具能给油墨补充系统发出信号,以在所述印刷机操作期间实时纠正油墨质量的缺陷。
