Abstract
EL PLOMO SE RECICLA DE LA PASTA DE PLOMO DE LAS BATERÍAS ÁCIDAS DE PLOMO EN UN PROCESO QUE EMPLEA LA DESULFURACIÓN ALCALINA SEGUIDA DE LA FORMACIÓN DE PLUMBITO QUE LUEGO SE CONVIERTE ELECTROLÍTICAMENTE EN PLOMO PURO. EL DIÓXIDO DE PLOMO INSOLUBLE RESTANTE SE EXTRAE DE LA SOLUCIÓN DE PLUMBITO DE PLOMO Y SE REDUCE PARA PRODUCIR ÓXIDO DE PLOMO QUE SE PUEDE RETROALIMENTAR AL SISTEMA DE RECUPERACIÓN. EL SULFATO SE RECUPERA COMO SULFATO DE SODIO, MIENTRAS QUE EL ÓXIDO DE PLOMO ASÍ PRODUCIDO SE PUEDE AÑADIR A LA PASTA DE PLOMO PARA SU RECUPERACIÓN.
