Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Kondensationsproduktes.    Es wurde     gefunden,    dass man zu einem  neuen     Kondensationsprodukt    gelangt, wenn  man 1     Mol        Stearinsäureamid    mit mindestens   2     Mol        a,a'-Dichlordimethyläther        behandelt     und darauf das erhaltene Reaktionsprodukt  mit     Pyridin    umsetzt.  



  Das neue Produkt stellt ein weisses Pul  ver dar, das sich in Wasser unter Bildung  stark     schäumender    Lösungen .auflöst, welch  letztere, insbesondere nach Zusatz von       NatTiumacetat,    sich nach kurzem Kochen  zersetzen. Das neue Produkt kann zum  waschechten .Wasserabstossend- und Weich  machen von Textilien verwendet werden.

           Beispiel:       14,1     Gewichtsteile        Stearinsäureamid    wer  den unter     Feuchtigkeitsausschluss    und     unter     Rühren mit 28 Gewichtsteilen symmetrischem       Dichlordimethyläther    versetzt, worauf das  Gemisch während 4 Stunden auf 85-95    erhitzt wird.     Aufänglich    setzt eine     heftige            Chlorwasserstoffgas-Entwicklung    ein, die  allmählich     abnimmt-und        nach,der    angegebe  nen Zeit völlig beendet ist.

   Der überschüssige       Dichlordimethyläther    wird sodann     abdestil-          liert,    zuletzt unter     vermindertem    Druck.  



  4,4     Gewichtsteile    des so erhaltenen     Kon-          ,densationsproduktes    werden mit 1,8 Ge  wichtsteilen     Pyridin    während 10     Minuten     bei     Wasserbadtemperatur        verrührt.    Eine  Probe der zähen,     farblosen,        Masse    erweist  sich alsdann in     ',Wasser        unter    Bildung einer       schäumenden    Lösung klar löslich.

   Nach dem  Abkühlen der Schmelze erstarrt dieselbe zu  einer     pulverisierbaren        Masse,    die durch Ver  reiben und Waschen mit Äther von wenig  anhaftendem     Pyridin    befreit werden kann.  



  Das so erhaltene neue Produkt bildet     ein     weisses Pulver, das sich in Wasser     deicht    auf  döst, und dessen     wässrige    Lösungen sich,  insbesondere nach Zusatz von     Natriumacetat,     beim Kochen allmählich zersetzen.

  The new product is a white powder that dissolves in water to form strongly foaming solutions, which, especially after adding sodium acetate, decompose after brief boiling. The new product can be used to make textiles washable, water-repellent and soft.

           Example: 14.1 parts by weight of stearic acid amide who added 28 parts by weight of symmetrical dichlorodimethyl ether with exclusion of moisture and with stirring, whereupon the mixture is heated to 85-95 for 4 hours. A violent evolution of hydrogen chloride gas suddenly sets in, which gradually diminishes and, after the specified time, is completely over.

   The excess dichlorodimethyl ether is then distilled off, finally under reduced pressure.



  4.4 parts by weight of the thus obtained condensation product are stirred with 1.8 parts by weight of pyridine for 10 minutes at water bath temperature. A sample of the viscous, colorless mass then proves to be clearly soluble in water, with the formation of a foaming solution.

   After the melt has cooled, it solidifies to form a pulverizable mass, which can be freed from little adhering pyridine by rubbing it and washing with ether.



  The new product obtained in this way forms a white powder that doesze off thickly in water, and its aqueous solutions, especially after the addition of sodium acetate, gradually decompose on boiling.

PATENTANSPRUCg Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Kondensationsproduktes, dadurch gekenn zeichnet, dass man 1 Mol Stearinsäureamid mit mindestens 2 Mol a,a'-Dichlordimethyl- äther behandelt und darauf das erhaltene Reaktionsprodukt mit Pyridin umsetzt.
