Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Kondensationsproduktes.' Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu einem neuen Kondensationsprodukt gelangt, wenn man Cymolsulfamid, wie man es durch Be- ha.ndeln von Cym.ol mit Chlors@ulfonsäure und Überführen des so entstehenden Cymolsul- fonsäureehlorides mit Ammoniak in das Sulfamid erhält,
mit Natriumformaldehyd- sulfoxylat bei erhöhter Temperatur umsetzt.
Die Umsetzung wird zweckmässig bei einer 100 übersteigenden Temperatur, z. B. bei 120-150 , vorgenommen, vorteilhaft unter Zusatz einer geringeren Menge eines eekun- dären Amins, wie Diamylamin.
Das neue Kondensationsprodukt stellt eine feste Masse dar, die von Wasser zu einer klaren, schäumenden Lösung aufgenommen wird. Es kann als Textilhilfsstoff, z. B. als llercersiernetzmittel, verwendet werden.
Beispiel: <B>10,6</B> Gewichtsteile Cymolsulfamid, wie: es durch Behandeln von Cymol mit Chlorsulfon- säure und Überführen des so -entstehenden Cymolsulfonsäureehlarides mit wässerigem Ammoniak in das Sulfamid:
erhältlich ist, werden pulverisiert und mit 8,5 Gewichts teilen Natriumformaldehydsulfoxylat ver- miseht. Man erwärmt die Mischung unter Rühren, wobei man die, Temperatur des Heizbades in etwa 20 Minuten auf 120 steigert. Nach weiterem Rühren während etwa 5 Minuten in einem Bad von 115-120 isst das Reaktionsprodukt in Wasser klar löslich.
Nach dem Erkalten bildet das neue Produkt eine feste Masse, die von Wasser zu einer klaren, schäumenden Lösung aufge nommen wird.
Process for the production of a new condensation product. ' It has been found that a new condensation product is obtained when cymene sulfamide, as is obtained by treating cymene with chlorosulfonic acid and converting the resulting cymene sulfonic acid chloride with ammonia into the sulfamide,
with sodium formaldehyde sulfoxylate reacted at elevated temperature.
The reaction is conveniently carried out at a temperature exceeding 100, e.g. B. at 120-150, made, advantageously with the addition of a smaller amount of a secondary amine, such as diamylamine.
The new condensation product is a solid mass that is absorbed by water to form a clear, foaming solution. It can be used as a textile auxiliary, e.g. B. as llercercer wetting agent used.
Example: <B> 10.6 </B> parts by weight of cymene sulfamide, such as: by treating cymene with chlorosulfonic acid and converting the resulting cymene sulfonic acid halide with aqueous ammonia into the sulfamide:
is available, are pulverized and mixed with 8.5 parts by weight of sodium formaldehyde sulfoxylate. The mixture is heated with stirring, the temperature of the heating bath being increased to 120 in about 20 minutes. After further stirring for about 5 minutes in a bath of 115-120, the reaction product is readily soluble in water.
After cooling, the new product forms a solid mass that is absorbed by water to form a clear, foaming solution.
