<B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 177574. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen quaternären Salzes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man ein neues quaternäres Salz erhält, wenn man a-Brom- laurinsäure-5-methyl-2-methoxyanilid mit Py- ridin umsetzt.
Das neue quaternäre Salz liefert mit Wasser eine Lösung, die eine hohe Netzkraft besitzt, und kann als Tegtilhilfsstoff, insbe sondere zum Wasserechtmachen von Fär bungen, verwendet werden. <I>Beispiel:</I> Man lässt eine Lösung von 34 Gewichts teilen a-Bromlauririsäui-ebromid in 34 Ge wichtsteilen Benzol im Laufe von etwa zwei Stunden unter Rühren in eine Lösung von 30,2 Gewichtsteilen 5-Methyl-2-methoxyanilin in 60 Gewichtsteilen Benzol unter 20 C eintropfen.
