  <B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 177574.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen     quaternären    Salzes.    Es wurde gefunden, dass man ein neues       quaternäres    Salz erhält, wenn man     a-Brom-          laurinsäure-5-methyl-2-methoxyanilid    mit     Py-          ridin    umsetzt.  



  Das neue     quaternäre    Salz liefert mit  Wasser eine Lösung, die eine hohe Netzkraft  besitzt, und kann als     Tegtilhilfsstoff,    insbe  sondere zum     Wasserechtmachen    von Fär  bungen, verwendet werden.    <I>Beispiel:</I>  Man lässt eine Lösung von 34 Gewichts  teilen     a-Bromlauririsäui-ebromid    in 34 Ge  wichtsteilen Benzol im Laufe von     etwa    zwei  Stunden unter Rühren in eine Lösung von  30,2 Gewichtsteilen     5-Methyl-2-methoxyanilin     in 60 Gewichtsteilen Benzol unter 20   C       eintropfen. PATENTANSPRÜCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen, quaternären Salzes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man a-Bromlaurinsäure-5-methyl-2-me- thogyanilid mit Pyridin umsetzt. Das neue quaternäre Salz liefert mit Wasser eine Lösung, die eine hohe Netzkraft besitzt, und kann als Textilhilfsstoff, insbe sondere zum Wasserechtmachen von Fär bungen, verwendet werden.
