      Zusatzpatent    zum Hauptpatent Nr. 231061.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen     Kondensationsproduktes.       Es wurde gefunden,     da3    man zu einem  neuen     Kondensationsp        odukt    gelangt, wenn  man 1     Mol        o-Chlorphenol    mit etwa 2     Mol          Formaldehyd,    etwa 2     Mol        Thioharnstoff    und  etwa 2     Mol        Chlorwasserstoff    behandelt.  



  Die Umsetzung wird zweckmässig in der  Wärme,     ,z.    B. bei 100 ,     vorgenommen..     



  Das neue Kondensationsprodukt bildet  eine harzartige Masse, die nachdem Lösen in  Alkohol beim Verdünnen mit Wasser eine  opaleszierende Lösung liefert. Es kann als       Tegtilhilfsstoff,    insbesondere zum Schiebe  festmachen, verwendet werden.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  12,8 Gewichtsteile     o-Chlorphenol,    14,9  Gewichtsteile 36,6     %ige        Yormaldehydlösung,     15,2 Gewichtsteile     Thioharnstoff    und 15     Vo-          lumteile    12,6-n Salzsäure werden während  2 Stunden in einem siedenden Wasserbad  verrührt. Nach dem Erkalten wird die obere  wässerige Schicht abgegossen. Das zurück  bleibende     gondensationsp:rodukt    bildet eine    harzartige Masse, die nach     dem. Das neue Kondensationsprodukt bildet eine annähernd viskose Masse, die nach dem Lösen in Alkohol beim Verdünnen mit Was ser eine opaleszierende Lösung liefert.
