Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Zwischenproduktes.    Es     wurde    gefunden, dass man ein zur Her  stellung von     Farbstoffen    wertvolles     Konden-          sationsprodukt    erhält, wenn man     1-Amino-5-          oxynaphthalin    mit     a,a'-@d'ichlorhydrin,    zweck  mässig in Gegenwart eines     Lösungsmittels,        er-          hitzt.     



  Das Kondensationsprodukt bildet in Form  seines Chlorhydrates ein helles Pulver, das  sich in Wasser löst und     das    zur Herstellung  von Farbstoffen verwendet werden kann.  



       Beispiel:     60 Gewichtsteile     1-Amino-5-oxynaphtha-          lin    werden mit 100     Volumteilen    n -     Butyl-          alkohol    und     -49    Gewichtsteilen.     a,ä        -Dichlor-          hydrin    gemischt und die Mischung, zweck  mässig unter Rühren     und        Luftabschluss,    re  spektive Durchleiten eines     inerten    Gasstro  mes, z. B. gasförmiger Kohlensäure, zum  Kochen erhitzt.

   Man kocht solange,     bis    die       alsbald    beginnende Ausscheidung des     Chlor-          hydrates    des     Kondensatäonaproiduktes    nicht  mehr zunimmt, wofür man zirka 10 bis     12     Munden benötigt. Man     lässt    darauf unter  Rühren erkalten, verdünnt die     Reaktions-          masse    mit etwas Alkohol oder     Aceton    oder    einem Gemisch beider und     nutscht    das er  haltene Chlorhydrat ab.  



  Man kann -das     Kondensationsprodukt    als  Chlorhydrat     direkt    zur Herstellung von Farb  stoffen verwenden; man kann es aber auch  aus der wässerigen Lösung seines     Chlor-          hydrates    durch Zugabe von     Neutralisations-          mitteln,    wie z. B.     Natriumacetat,        ausscheiden.  



  Process for the production of an intermediate product. It has been found that a condensation product useful for the production of dyes is obtained if 1-amino-5-oxynaphthalene is heated with a, a '- @ d'ichlorohydrin, expediently in the presence of a solvent.



  In the form of its chlorohydrate, the condensation product forms a light-colored powder that dissolves in water and which can be used to produce dyes.



       Example: 60 parts by weight of 1-amino-5-oxynaphthalene are mixed with 100 parts by volume of n-butyl alcohol and -49 parts by weight. a, ä -Dichlorohydrin mixed and the mixture, expediently with stirring and exclusion of air, re spective passage of an inert Gasstro mes, z. B. gaseous carbonic acid heated to a boil.

   The mixture is boiled until the excretion of the chlorohydrate of the condensate aproids, which immediately begins, no longer increases, for which about 10 to 12 mouths are required. The mixture is then allowed to cool while stirring, the reaction mixture is diluted with a little alcohol or acetone or a mixture of both and the hydrochloride obtained is filtered off with suction.



  You can use the condensation product as hydrochloride directly for the production of dyes; but it can also be obtained from the aqueous solution of its chlorohydrate by adding neutralizing agents, such as. B. sodium acetate, excrete.
