Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung von m-Ogy-N-metliyldiä,thylaminoäthylanilin. Es wurde gefunden, dass man m-Oxy-N- methyldiäthylaminoäthylanilin erhält, wenn man Resorcin und as-Methyldiäthyläthylendi- amin miteinander erhitzt.
Die neue Verbindung siedet unter 0,5 mm Druck bei<B>1510</B> C; sie hat eine hervorragend verbessernde Wirkung auf Atmung und Herz tätigkeit und soll pharmazeutische Verwen dung finden sowie als Zwischenprodukt für die Herstellung analoger Derivate.

110 g Resorcin und 130 g des as-Methyl- diäthyläthylendiamins werden mehrere Stun den auf zirka 200 im Ölbad erhitzt.
Durch Ausziehen der Reaktionsmasse mit verdünnter Salzsäure trennt man von unver ändertem Resorcin, durch Alkalischmachen und Ausäthern von Diamino-Verbindungen. Ansäuern der alkälischen Lösung, Zufügen von Pottasche und Ausäthern ergibt das m-Oxy-N-methyldiäthylaminoäthylanilin vom Siedepunkt<B>1510</B> bei 0,5 mm.
Diese Verbindung zeigt eine hervorragend verbessernde Wirkung auf Atmung und Herz tätigkeit.
Process for the preparation of m-Ogy-N-metliyldiä, thylaminoäthylanilin. It has been found that m-oxy-N-methyldiethylaminoethylaniline is obtained when resorcinol and as-methyldiethylethylenediamine are heated together.
The new compound boils under 0.5 mm pressure at <B> 1510 </B> C; it has an outstandingly improving effect on respiration and cardiac activity and is intended to be used in pharmaceuticals and as an intermediate for the production of analogous derivatives.

110 g of resorcinol and 130 g of as-methyl diethylethylenediamine are heated for several hours to about 200 in an oil bath.
Unchanged resorcinol is separated by extracting the reaction mass with dilute hydrochloric acid, and diamino compounds are separated by making them alkaline and etherifying them. Acidification of the alkaline solution, addition of potash and ethers gives the m-oxy-N-methyldiethylaminoethylaniline with a boiling point of <B> 1510 </B> at 0.5 mm.
This compound shows an excellent beneficial effect on breathing and heart activity.
