Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Sulfons.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man ein neues       Sulfon    erhält, wenn man ein Salz der     p-To-          luolsulfirrsäure    mit einem     a-Halogenlaurin-          säureäthylester    umsetzt.  



  Das neue     Sulfon    bildet ein gelbliches Öl,  das als Zwischenprodukt Verwendung finden  soll.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  25     Gewichtsteilea-Bromlaurinsäureäthylester     werden mit einer solchen Menge     toluolsulfin-          saurem    Natrium, als 17,4 Gewichtsteilen  reinem     Sulfinat    entspricht, und 90 Raum  teilen Äthylalkohol während etwa 11 Stun  den in einem     Rührautoklaven    auf 150-160  gehalten. Man verdünnt darauf das Reaktions-         produkt    mit Wasser und schüttelt mit einem  Lösungsmittel, zum Beispiel Äther, aus. Nach  dem     Abdestillieren    des Lösungsmittels hin  terbleibt das     Sulfon    als gelbliches Öl.

  The new sulfone forms a yellowish oil that is supposed to be used as an intermediate product.



  <I> Example: </I> 25 parts by weight of a-bromauric acid ethyl ester are kept at 150-160 for about 11 hours in a stirred autoclave with an amount of sodium toluenesulfinic acid equivalent to 17.4 parts by weight of pure sulfinate, and 90 parts by volume of ethyl alcohol . The reaction product is then diluted with water and extracted with a solvent, for example ether. After the solvent has been distilled off, the sulfone remains as a yellowish oil.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Sulfons, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man ein Salz der p-Toluolsulfinsäure mit einem a-Halogenlaurinsäureäthylester umsetzt. Das neue Sulfon bildet ein gelbliches Öl, das als Zwischenprodukt Verwendung finden soll.
