  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Ogyarylsulfons.       Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich auf ein  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Oxyarylsul-          fons,    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man 3,4  Dichlordiphenylsulfon mit einem     alkalisch     wirkenden Mittel erhitzt.  



  Das so erhaltene     4-Oxy-3-chlordiphenyl-          sulfon    ist ein farbloser Körper vom Schmelz  punkt 176   C. Es soll als Zwischenprodukt  zur Herstellung von     Farbstoffen,        Heilmitteln,          Textil-    und     Gerbereihilfsmitteln    sowie von  synthetischen Harzen Verwendung finden.  



       Beispiel:     45,5 Teile     3,4-Dichlordiphenylsulfon    wer  den mit 19 Teilen     Ätzkali    in etwa 400 Teilen  Wasser im     Autoklaven    etwa 8 Stunden auf  etwa 200<B>0</B> C erhitzt. Durch Ansäuern der    erhaltenen     Lösung    erhält man das     4-Oxy-3-          chlordiphenylsulfon    vom     Schmelzpunkt    176   C.
