Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Salzes eines Aminoesters. Es wurde gefunden, .dass man. zu einem. neuen Salz eines Aminoesters ;gelangt, wenn man das Einwirkungsprodukt von etwa 2 Mol Äthylenoxyd auf 1 Mol Stearin3äureäthanol- amid aus techn. Stearinsäure mit Ameisen säure auf eine unter 120 liegende Temperatur erhitzt.
Die Mischung aus dem Einwirkungspro dukt von etwa 2 Mol Äthylenoxyd auf 1 Mol Stearinsäureäthanolamid aus techn. 8tearin- säure mit Ameisensäure, die in konzentrierter oder verdünnter Form zur Anwendung gelan gen kann, wird zweckmässig auf etwa 100 erhitzt.
Das durch Umlagerung entstehende Formiat des Amino-esters stellt in Mischung mit über schüssiger, verdünnter Ameisensäure .eine an nähernd farblose Paste dar, die beim Ver dünnen mit heissem Wassereine Opale Lösung ergibt. Das neue Formiat kann als Weich- machungsmittel Anwendung finden.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 5 Gewichtsteile des durch Einwirkung von etwa 2 Mol Äthylenoxyd auf 1 MoI Stearinsäureäthanolamid (aus techn. Stearin säure) erhältlichen Umsetzungsproduktes wer den mit 1 Gewichtsteil 85%iger Ameisen- säure und 2 Gewichtsteilen Wasser vermischt und während etwa 4 Stunden in einem sie d-enden Wasserbad verrührt.
Das neue Er zeugnis, eine Paste, ergibt beim Verdünnen mit heissem Wasser eine Opale Lösung und kann als \WeichmachuAgsmittel, zum Beispiel für Viokosekunstseide, verwendet werden.
Zur Herstellung des oben genannten Äthylenoxyd-Einwirkungsproduktes kann man wie folgt verfahren: <B>20</B> Gewichtsteile Stearinsäureäthanolamid (aus techn. Stearinsäure) werden mit 5,9 Ge wichtsteilen Äthylenoxyd vermischt und in einem geschlossenen Gefäss zunächst während etwa 1 .Stunde auf 100-105 und dann wäh rend etwa 5 Stunden auf 160165 erhitzt.

<I> Example: </I> 5 parts by weight of the reaction product obtainable by the action of about 2 moles of ethylene oxide on 1 mole of stearic acid ethanolamide (from technical stearic acid) are mixed with 1 part by weight of 85% formic acid and 2 parts by weight of water and during Stirred in a water bath for about 4 hours.
The new product, a paste, produces an opal solution when diluted with hot water and can be used as a softening agent, for example for Viokose artificial silk.
