Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Kondensationsproduktes.    Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu einem  neuen Kondensationsprodukte gelangt, wenn  man     Laurinsäuremethylolamid    in Gegenwart  von Halogenwasserstoff auf     Thioharnstoff     einwirken lässt.  



  Die     Umsetzzmg    wird zweckmässig in Ge  genwart eines Lösungsmittels, wie Alkohol,  vorgenommen.  



  Das neue Kondensationsprodukt ist eine       halbfeste        14Zasse,    die     beim    Kochen in wäss  riger Lösung oder auf Zusatz von Alkalien  unter Bildung einer wasserunlöslichen Ver  bindung zerfällt. Es kann als     Tegtilhilfs-          stoff    Anwendung finden.  



       Beispiel:     4,6     Teile        Laurinsäurem@ethylolamid    und  3 Teile     Thioharnstoff    werden in 40     Volum-          teilen    heissem Alkohol gelöst. Nach dem  Abkühlen auf 50   fügt man unter Rühren  4     Volumteile    25%ige alkoholische Salzsäure  hinzu und erwärmt während 20     Minuten    auf  50 bis 55  . Hierauf ist eine Probe in Wasser  unter starkem Schäumen klar löslich.

   Nach  dem     Abdestillieren    des Alkohols im Vakuum    bleibt das Reaktionsprodukt als halbfeste  Masse zurück, die beim Kochen in wässriger  Lösung oder auf Zusatz von Alkalien unter  Bildung einer wasserunlöslichen     Verbindung     zerfällt.

       Example: 4.6 parts of lauric acid ethylolamide and 3 parts of thiourea are dissolved in 40 parts by volume of hot alcohol. After cooling to 50, 4 parts by volume of 25% strength alcoholic hydrochloric acid are added with stirring and the mixture is heated to 50 to 55 for 20 minutes. A sample is then clearly soluble in water with strong foaming.

   After the alcohol has been distilled off in vacuo, the reaction product remains as a semi-solid mass that disintegrates when boiling in aqueous solution or when alkalis are added to form a water-insoluble compound.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Kondensationsproduktes, dadurch gekenn zeichnet, dass man Laurinsäuremethylolamid in Gegenwart von Halogenwasserstoff auf Thioharnstoff einwirken lässt. Das neue Kondensationsprodukt ist eine halbfeste Masse, die beim Kochen in wäss riger Lösung oder auf Zusatz von Alkalien unter Bildung einer wasserunlöslichen Ver bindung zerfällt.
