Description

  

  <B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 231061.         Verfahren    zur Herstellung eines neuen Kondensationsproduktes.    Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu einem  neuen     Kondensationsprodukt.        gelangt,    wenn  man 1     Mol    Phenol mit etwa 2     Mol    Formal  dehyd, etwa 2     Mol        Dieyandiamid    und etwa  2     M.ol        Chlorwasserstoff    behandelt.  



  Die Umsetzung wird zweckmässig in der  Wärme, z.     B.    bei 100 , vorgenommen.  



  Das neue Kondensationsprodukt bildet  eine farblose Masse, die in Alkohol leicht lös  lich ist. Es kann als     Textilhilfsstoff,    z. B.  zum     Schiebefestmachen    von Geweben, ver  wendet werden.  



       Beispiel:     18,8 Gewichtsteile Phenol, 29,8     Gewicht3-          teile    36,6 %     ige        Formaldehydlösung    und  30,4 Gewichtsteile     Dicyandiamid        werden     innert einer Stunde bei 25-30  unter Rüh  ren mit 30     Volumteilen    12,6-n Salzsäure ver  setzt. Man rührt weiter während 2 Stunden  bei     Zimmertemperatur    und steigert die Tem  peratur langsam auf etwa 70 , wobei eine  lebhafte Reaktion einsetzt und das     Reaktions-          gemiseh    sich zum Sieden erhitzt.

   Die so er  haltene konzentrierte wässerige Lösung des    neuen     Kondensationsproduktes    ist farblos  und bleibt bei Raumtemperatur klar. Das  neue     Kondensationsprodukt    ist in Alkohol  leicht löslich.

The mixture is stirred for a further 2 hours at room temperature and the temperature is slowly increased to about 70, a vigorous reaction commencing and the reaction mixture being heated to the boil.

   The concentrated aqueous solution of the new condensation product obtained in this way is colorless and remains clear at room temperature. The new condensation product is easily soluble in alcohol.

 

Claims (1)

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Kondensationsproduktes, dadurch gekenn zeichnet, dass man 1 Mol Phenol mit etwa 2 Mol Formaldehyd, etwa 2 Mol Dicyandi- amid und etwa 2 Mol Chlorwasserstoff be handelt. Das neue Kondensationsprodukt bildet eine farblose Masse, .die in Alkohol leicht löslich ist. Es! kann ass Tegtilhilfsstoff, z. B. zum Schiebefestmachen von Geweben, ver wendet werden.
